I recently went to Dr. Penrod for my first time on 12/17/2015. Since it was my first visit as a new patient, I was expecting at the very least a thorough exam by him. Instead I received about a 60-second exam by him and a quick recommendation of a crown replacement. Other than hello, the only other commentary from him was the following question, "do you have insurance?" He then proceeded to say he would set me up with his treatment coordinator and he said thanks for coming in. He was very short on personality and bedside manner the day of my first visit which was unfortunate. First impressions are everything in life and business, and we cannot repeat them. At this point I am not sure if I will return to Dr. Penrod in the future. He made me feel like a financial resource instead of a valued patient. I did really like the hygienist (Alicia) that cleaned my teeth and took my x-rays before the exam by the doctor. She was very thorough. She explained everything that she was going to do and was friendly as well.

After researching who I should go to for Dental work, I settled on Penrod. My wife and I were moving to the area and we needed a Dentist we could trust. I could not be happier. They have great hours, great service, are kind, thoughtful, prepared, and very thorough. Its a great office environment! They also took care of my mom when she had a slight dental emergency. My parents are missionaries in Mexico and when her dentist in LA cancelled 30 minutes before the appointment (which she was already at the office for) and told her he couldnt perform the procedure, she was beside herself. I called the Penrod office and asked if they could do a second opinion and check what she needed and they got her in same day, and recommended a great local endodontist to perform the surgery. I am so grateful for their treatment of my mom and we have already recommended others to Penrod in the last month. Loving RSM!!!!

We are new to the area and were referred by another patient that has been going here for several years. Our experience here has been one that has left us very pleased , their professional atmosphere, the friendliest staff, and the best Drs ever, by far, went above and beyond for us to meet our needs, and being a family of 5 and trying to keep our crazy sports schedules , that within itself is very difficult to do........but they worked with us to get us in the day I called because of an emergency that my 11 yr. old was having. They are very upfront with what needs to be completed and are very compassionate towards their clients needs, not just trying to get you to do needless work for their financial gain. We will continue to go to this office even if it means driving numerous miles just to get here because you do not get this kind of service everywhere.....They are the best !!!

When I came to Penrod dental I had the pleasure of finding out that I had periodontal disease. I was cared for by Kristen I call her my mechanic because she gets under my gums (my hood) and scales with her tools. With her guidance alone I was able to show major improvement. The first cleaning after the major scaling was a success, second one not so much because I became lazy and stopped using the green soft brushes at night before sleep. I am going to take the hygienists advice and do everything she says and we will see if I was a good girl in April. Bottom line floss everyday and buy the soft green brushes and get through your pockets daily in order to prevent more bone loss. Staff is friendly and very organized. I also like the walkie talkies :) Dr. Diamond is amazing and found a potential problem that we are hopefully fixing tomorrow. Thanks Penrod you "/ rock!

I was very impressed! Im a medical device engineer myself and havent seen this type of advanced technology completely integrated under one roof. I not only had X-Rays and a full panoramic scan of my entire mouth but during my operation an imaging system used multiple images of my teeth to form a complete 3D rendering. It was very reassuring to see it done correctly without possible human error. The staff was very helpful in understanding my needs as well and put together a long term plan to best utilize my insurance. I highly recommend this talented and advanced group of dentists. I had a terrific experience today at Penrod Dental! I am a new patient and thought I needed a root canal. To my surprise, I did not need one. I am very impressed at how nice, professional and courteous everyone at the office is and I am now going back for a cleaning. I highly recommend Penrod Dental and will tell all of my friends. I was back today for a cleaning (my second visit). Love this office! Everyone is very professional, helpful and provide me all of the info. I need! Super experience! Had a crown put on and today I had it adjusted. Great staff, and I will keep coming back!

I wanted to do all of my front teeth for at least 10 years because they were in such bad shape. I talked to quite a few dentists about it and just never felt comfortable with/trusted any other dentist. I had a really great feeling about Dr. Penrod right off the bat and knew he would treat me right. Plus the before and after shots on his website are amazing. He did all 6 of my front teeth and made it totally painless and easy. It went so well and Im so happy I did it...even with the temporary crowns...it looks better!

I have been seeing Dr. Penrods office for the past couple of years. It was by word of mouth. Dr. King is an amazing dentist! I had an appointment to fix an old silver filling that had a new cavity and needed an onlay. Dr. King is very gentle and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The office staff and assistants are so kind, happy and helpful. Dr. Penrods office has flexible hours and I was able to get an early morning appointment. I highly recommend this office!!! So accommodating, organized and nice!

I have been going to Penrod Dental since August of 2016. My dentist is Dr. King and he is amazing! I started with several different problems, he evaluated my situation, made a plan and I am well on my way to a perfect smile! He is caring, gentle, understanding and a great dentist. The staff is also amazing. Everything is fully explained and everyone is very helpful as well as really nice. Never thought Id say this but I actually do not mind going to the dentist anymore!
