Recently went to the ER for a pregnancy related issue. The staff was nice but there is no communication between staff. Multiple nurses asking if my vitals were taken, even when I had the blood pressure band around my arm. Nurses need to be trained better on how to use the computer. The admission nurse had to ask another nurse 3 times on how to enter information. But the worst part was the unsanitary conditions of the hospital. I saw blood on the ground, several needle caps on the floor in the room they put me in, opened bandages on the ground. Lots of trash in the room they put me in. Im supposed to give birth at this hospital and I will be changing it to the South Sacramento hospital. They are much much cleaner and way more organized. Edit: After everything I went through in the two days after my visit to the ER it was apparent the doctors did not take me seriously. I came in pregnant with amniotic fluid leaking and they refused to do a pelvic exam. If they had they would have seen I was already in labor. Instead I was told to go home, wait for my next scheduled appt with my doctor and that I probably had a bacterial infection. I lost my baby and no one at the ER believed my symptoms.

Horrible treatment I went in to see if I was drugged or had a seizure.. I was scared and not feeling well .. I have seizures and any ways something bad happened to me and I had two people telling me I was dreaming or hallucinating.. I didnt feel good all night or day any ways I thought it was strange for the two people to tell me I was hallucinating and yet they didnt want to do anything.. Scared and upset I called my family .. After I got rest thy took me to the hospital so I can find out if i was drugged or had a seizure.. I still cant think I am so upset and hurt I go for help and thy attack me called me a drug addict .. Child I walked out ..should have gotten his name .. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly .. Called me a drug addict little girl looking for attention .. Scared and upset needing help to see if I was drugged and that is the way I get treated ..Went to my doctor got a drug test I was clean and he said he believes it was a seizure .. So thanks for calling some one who just had a seizure a drug addict child ..

Today I requested a procedure and left but came right back to get an excuse note for work. As I stood on the other side I overheard the Nurse Practitioner Lisa Tramposhs staff members gossiping and even laughing too like my medical request was a joke. Obviously the NP told them what I requested. I got mad and peered over and they suspected I was the patient they were talking about and stayed quiet AND THEN Lisa came out of her office w/ my work excuse note. Thats HIPAA violation and totally unethical, I should of told them i heard them discussing about my request and took those other staff members names. I will report to nurse board and KP. Theyll go back to date of service and know who else was on that shift @ that time. I am a woman like those employees and how pathetic and unprofessional to talk loosely & loudly about my private life. Get right! That visit was sad and traumatizing because I trusted obgyn unprofessionals.

Terrible experience. I have a very high tolerance to rude careless people but this I cannot overlook. Ive been in hospitals as a patient often and this hospital has given me the worst experience more than once. They dont speak to you like youre a human being but as if youre a thing. Did not have this kind of treatment ever anywhere else. And no Im not sensitive or emotional I am saying exactly how it was. Spoke so rudely, asked questions in a rude way and spoke over me. Barely got a chance to speak and they wrote down not what I said I was experiencing but what they thought I was. People Warner me about this hospital but I always give benefit of the doubt. But since this wasnt the first time Im going to post this picture post because if you dont have a heart for people and want to fill your pocked with money you should not be working as a nurse or in the hospital.

"THRIVE" on GREED & INCOMPETENCE After a severe car accident, multiple x-rays, dozens of "doctors" & several days in a *** whole of a hospital.I was discharged to a rehabilitation facility with *no regular bowel movements. Additionally, it was OVER a week later before the podiatrist caught the broken bones in my right foot that they had missed initially (regardless of how many complaints I made of the horrible pain I kept experiencing during weight bearing exercises with physical therapy. And to top THAT off, Kaiser proceeded to have me discharged from the rehabilitation facility due to them not willing to cover my stay any further. I was then sent to an unsafe environment with stairs & not enough physical strength to properly do transfers safely.Steer clear of this MONEY HUNGRY MONSTER THAT "Thrives" on their bottom line, NOT, your health or well being!

In the ER. Absolutely unacceptable circumstances during ER visit. The hospital is unable to serve the patients. The standards are reduced to scary situations such as drawing blood in the hallway on dirty tables with gloves that were used to pick up trash. Doctors and staff spending 99% of their time glued to monitors rather than the patients standing in front if them. One staff doing 50 things but really getting nothing done that matters to the patience. Sraff calls it multitasking; it is more like a big huge disaster waiting to happen. I guess no one told them you cant multitask when you are dealing with peoples lives. How would this place function if there were some real disaster with a large number people needing major treatments? Polite staff for sure and i dont mean any disrespect. Just making observations.

Most staff members are kind but I must admit a lot of them are not. My mother has MS and she does not speak English. So, of course Im always with her at the Drs and so on. When its time to discuss her progress or treatment, I feel completely shut out and they do not want to discuss things with me. I am her caregiver and Daughter first ! I have been with her every step of the way through her illness and I expect for the staff to treat me respectfully and not as though I am a stranger. Kaiser used to feel safe for me. But as time goes on , it seems like the training for the staff has dramatically decreased OR they are picking the completely wrong people for the job! It truly hurts me because, my mother shouldnt have to be treated like that nor should I. If this happens again, I will have to complain!

Its a hit or miss with these people. Depends on whos working. I came in for IV fluids (Im 5 months pregnant with horrible morning sickness) like usual and when the nurse came in she made me feel like I shouldnt have even come in. She said this is more of a "clinic issue" rather than womens and childrens labor and delivery. The nurse before her had just told me the clinic isnt open until 8am, I got here at 6am. She was so rude in how she addressed me that I up and left without getting g the necessary fluids to feel better. Kaiser needs to monitor the way its staff treats people.
