Dr, Seymour Myers may be a very nice man but he is not a very good doctor in my opinion. I went to see him about several issues I had and he never stood up once from his chair. I had to stand up and walk up to him and show him my hand where I had a skin problem. When I spoke to him about medication that I was on he did not seem very interested and did not understand my concern that I want to stop taking them. Instead he gave another 3 month prescription!! I wont even go into how rude the receptionist was - absolutely no eye contact - and the nurse seems pretty useless and was yawning the entire time. When I told her that I had forgotten to tell the doctor about my nightly heart palpitations she said "oh you can mention that to the doctor at your next visit" !!!????? Well, there will be no next visit from me thank you very much. I asked to be referred to a dermatologist and a OBGYN but the office never contacted me so I had to call them. I am currently looking for another doctor.

My mother, age 88, is a happy patient of Dr. Myers. She has received excellent care from Dr. Myers over the course of the 12 years that he has been her primary physician. He is very caring, and his bedside manner is second to none. We gladly travel the 20 minutes from her place to his office although there are doctors available around the corner from her home. When she had to change insurance companies, we chose one primarily based upon the fact that Dr. Myers is in their network. His support staff are friendly and courteous too. Several years ago when I voiced concern that mom was taking a very high dosage of medication (prescribed by her previous doctor), Dr. Myers worked with us to reduce it. He listens. I no longer trust this man. He has shown a lack of care and integrity that goes has the potential to be harmful to many patients. I last saw Dr. Myers on December 20, 2016. When I called to make the next appt I only got the recording to leave a message. I left messages 4 different days. Still no return call. Finally, on March 7, 2017 that Dr. Myers had closed this Lomas Santa Fe office. He failed to pay some of his employees their final pay. And no one at this point knows where the patientsrecords are, or how to request them. He now works for Perlman Clinic, but he didnt tell anyone about this move. I would NOT recommend him for any type of medical doctor.

Dr. Meyers is one of a kind. They just dont make great caring doctors like Dr. Meyers anymore. He has taken care of my entire family for over 25 years. He actually cares about his patients and puts them first in every aspect of his practice. If you can get into his concierge practice, jump at the chance. If not, his service is still superb. You can count on him for the truth and you never feel rushed. His staff is excellent and very caring.

I last saw Dr. Myers in Nov 2016. Ive always found him and his staff to be courteous and helpful. I called his office today, June 27, 2017 and was told that hes out for approx all of July for back surgery. He is at the Perlman Clinic in La Jolla and the receptionist offered to make an appointment with a Physicians Assistant.

He has always been super nice and helpful to me. I work full time and its hard to take off for an appt so he is always willingto give me samples to see if they work before I actually go in. I even left a voicemail on the nurses line concerning a bite and the doctor himself called me back. which has NEVER happened before.
