took my mom to Dr. Wong for eye glasses prescription checkup. This was meant for a temporary solution before my mom gets her cataract surgery to correct her vision (suggested by the cataract specialist as a temporary solution so my mom can drive legally before the surgery in 2 month). One of her eye was near-sighted while the other is far-sighted. He was super fast so we thought he was very efficient. A week later, my mom received her eye glasses and immediately she couldnt get both eyes to focus and gave her a huge headache. We brought the eye glasses back hoping to get another prescription even if we had to pay for new lenses as long as she can see without getting headaches. But instead, Dr. Wong said there was nothing wrong with the test he performed and blames my moms cataract that is causing her not seeing correctly.　Wish we had gone with more reputable optometrist that would be more careful and get the right reading in the first place as well as one that would admit to the wrong reading and give us another test rather than blaming it on the clients eye condition.

I went to costco sunnyvale to get glasses just to avoid headaches while working in front of the computer. I dont have any sight. Dr. Wong specifically suggested me to get reading glasses. Then He started pressuring me to buy another pair of glasses meant for driving. I declined the "glasses meant for driving". Then finally after 1 week I received my reading glasses. I have no idea what he ordered but the glasses were too strong that I couldnt use the glasses for more than couple of hours. My eyes were getting strained Then, when I went and complained, they said some others were also having the same issues. Dr. Wong, please dont order strong glasses that damage your patients eyes. I came to your clinic to fix my eyes not to damage them.

I was very pleased with the service of Sandra in purchasing a pair of progressive glasses recently. She was competent and caring and made the process as satisfying as one could hope for. She took the time to adjust the the glasses (also purchased at Costco) that I must depend upon until my new glasses arrive which was much appreciated. My thanks to Sandra and to Costco Optical Dept.
