I went in on 12/24 because I had been sick over a week with major sinus pressure and the migraine portion of it was getting worse. With it being Christmas eve there was no way to get into my primary so I made do and went here since it was the closest and open. Did an online check in and was given a time to be there and to arrive a little early for paperwork. So I was there way before my appointment and still waited 3 hours after my check in time to see someone. The woman behind the desk was being borrowed from the Golden location and had to be the most incompetent person at reception desk that I have ever seen. The people from the back kept having to come up and help her and she would keep telling them shes got it and she could have gotten it done in 10 minutes, when clearly she could not. Its one thing if you dont know what youre doing and ask for help but this was not the case. After my 3 hour wait, I finally got in to see someone. A guy comes in the room for less than 5 minutes and decides I have a Sinus Infection and they were going to give me an antibiotic. He said I have a Sinus Infection because thats what he could gather from just looking at me, they ran no test, no idea whether it is viral or bacterial, just basically pulled a diagnosis out of a hat. Only thing he did was look in my ears/eyes/mouth and then listened to my heart. That is it. A nurse comes in and gives me a shot to help the migraine. I leave, get my prescription he prescribed and take the antibiotic for 3 days, while taking the medicine I am still not getting any better and some symptoms actually getting worse. I was able to get an emergency appointment with my primary doctor and I brought the medicine I was prescribed. When I got there I handed him the bottle and he was astonished that someone would prescribe me something like this. Come to find out this prescription is usually used for treating PNEUMONIA! He said they basically just gave me a grenade of Antibiotics and I was so sick because it was killing the good bacteria in my stomach and I was lucky I stopped taking it on my own or it could have done damage to my stomach! Seriously, I wasnt even going to write a review, grant it I wasnt happy with the service but I let it slide because I was lucky to get in somewhere on Christmas Eve. But to go and prescribe a patient something that isnt even for what I went in for, thats not only dangerous but irresponsible! I will never step foot in this place again and I would never recommend anyone else going either.

Absolutely terrible. I check in went to the back within 10 mins ok seems good talk to the nurse went ok go to another room wich was for a child as i waited for jeremy the dr, he took 30 mins, as i wait i could hear the doctors talking bad bout the patients and bout people who call that have emergencies and ask how long the wait is they laughed and cried bout the calls... thats your job your doing nothing anyways obviously gossiping bout it, anyways when jeremey comes in he asks bout my pain in my back i tell him, he says what i described was the pain of what a woman would be in if she was in active labor... very rudely, i show him the papers i need and we start to discuss marijuana as my medince we had many disagreements argument like which led to him basically calling me a bad mother smh..he says lets see your back and see what we could do to motivate you and get you up with your kids i told him i get up perfectly ok with my children which was none of his concern... i get up on the table he checks me out wanting to prescribe me pills which he said would make me drowsy (umm so he argued with my points on marijuana and calls me a bad mom but wants me to be drowsy) which everyone has their "opinion" on marijuana as he repeatedly said and i understand that of course, but why are you being rude disrespectful and arguing with me your a professional i thought he would act as such, i walked out and he still prescribed me pills enough said bout how awful this place is he didnt do xrays which i was suppose to wait for but he upset me so much i walked out... jeremey should get replaced... because im not the only one with this kind of experience with this a-hole js i will not be going back

I visited this location yesterday after speaking with my primary care physician. She recommended that I visit either an urgent care or the emergency room, so I opted for urgent care since my co pay was less. Worst decision. I would have rather paid extra for appropriate care looking back. I received several mosquito bites over the weekend and was having a really bad allergic reaction to it. My chest was tight, and my throat was swollen and I was panicky because I felt like I wasnt breathing properly. I put that on the new patient form, and was put on the waitlist. I was second, and the person ahead of me went in. Then, a new person walked into the office in a perfectly cheery mood, and she too was seen before me. At this point, my hands were going numb as well as my face. I asked the person at the front desk how much longer and she told me I was next. After 45 minutes of me sitting there, crying, trying to relax my breathing, I was finally taken into the room to get my vitals checked. The guy then proceeds to tell me he was going to do a strep test on me. Somehow, the front desk people thought me telling them I was having difficulty breathing and was having an allergic reaction meant I had strep and it wasnt serious enough to be seen immediately. I had a full blown panic attack in the doctors office as a result. Will NEVER be going back here or any other location ever again. Absolutely ridiculous. Once I was finally seen the doctor was awesome, but the fact that I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour is unacceptable.

Last couple of times have been the worse experience. This was my go to place over a year ago because I could go in after work and I loved Cori and the gal up front. They have new doctors... 3 of them have misdiagnosed both myslef and my kiddos or didnt treat us at all (once was phenomena(son) and the other was a skin allergy(son)). I waited for 2 hours the last time I went with a 104 fever and could not breathe. I walked out and Lutheran took me right back and treated me asap. Staff and nurses are rude and look like they dont want to be there. I called today to get a price on a sick visit for a co-worker who does not have insurance and the front desk could not help me. I waited on the phone for 25 minutes, listening to her ask several others in that office if they knew and they didnt,,then she hung up on me. Unbelievable. Guardian is on 72nd and Sheridan and they are 10 times better then this location. And then there is Lutheran very close on 38th and Wads. Surprisingly their wait is not as long as Next Care. I will never go here again! I cant believe they are still open. Im pretty sure they wont be for too much longer. Maybe its a new owner who has no clue how to run a business? Miserable environment, miserable staff, horrible service, and doctors who do not treat symptoms accordingly. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time.
