This review is NOT in regard to the PAs of this practice or the office staff. I was treated very well by all of these people. However, I am extremely disappointed in the two physicians practicing at Pediatric Pathways, particularly Dr. Huff. I recently had my first child and admittedly have a type A personality. I was very nervous and my child was initially not gaining weight as she should be. I was extremely concerned about this and was of course, very sleep deprived and suffering from some degree of postpartum depression. For my first several visits, I saw the physicians assistants, mostly Ashley, who was wonderful and patient with me, answering my questions and sitting with me through tears of frustration. However, thankfully my daughter is on track with her weight gain now, but my husband and I felt most comfortable with doing one last weight check for her to make sure she was doing well. We basically had weekly appointments for four weeks. We had planned that this would be our last weight check appointment if she was continuing to gain well. We asked to talk with a provider quickly after the weigh-in and Dr. Huff came in. He essentially belittled me for being worried about my infant and was very dismissive and condescending about my concerns. I left feeling about an inch tall and foolish. I myself am a physician and understand that it is so important to be kind and compassionate to patients and their loved ones. In my own practice, I try very hard to listen with empathy and understanding. I know that people have bad days, but when we saw Dr. Huff in the hospital, he behaved this way as well. I thought it was just me being tired and too judgmental, but it was confirmed at this last visit. I will not be going back to a physician who lacks compassion and empathy.

Weve gone to several other pediatricians over the years but none seemed "right" for our family. Mountain Midwifery Center recommended Pediatric Pathways to us, which has turned out to be an awesome fit. We have had appointments with Dr. Marceny, Dr. Huff, Sarah, and Ashleigh -- and we have liked ALL of them. They are open-minded and flexible (e.g., vaccinations), share their opinions and not just what they are "supposed" to say, are huge supporters of breastfeeding, seek to treat the cause and not just mask symptoms, relate very well to kids and parents alike, and take the time needed to answer questions. Front office staff can be hit or miss -- but overall good. The office space is not fancy, but does that really matter? We like Pediatric Pathways so much that we drive from Morrison to go there... except when it works with our schedule to see them at Mountain Midwifery Center. Yes, they travel (also to The MamaHood)!

Extremely rude phone staff. When calling to make a meet and greet visit appointment, I briefed the woman on the phone of why I was calling. No response, just pushed a button and transferred me. The next person I spoke with was fine and we scheduled an appointment. Unfortunately, I had a meeting at work the morning of our appointment so I called again to see about rescheduling, and once again, the first person to answer the phone said nothing and just transfered me without any notice. I was then told there is a cancellation fee for same day cancellations. Once she looked and saw that we werent even patients yet, she said it didnt apply. Based on these experiences, we will go elsewhere. We are first time parents and are looking to feel supported and although Im sure the doctors are great, their staff is not.

We have been going to pediatric pathways for about 7 years. Although the overall care that our daughter has received has been acceptable, the staff is a bit standoffish and curt. I would not write a review on an isolated incident. This seems to be the culture. Also, there have been repeated incidents of the physician examining my daughter and then, not taking the time to speak to me about the results. As my daughter grew older, she wanted to be in the examination room without her father. I would think the physician would still take the time to come to the waiting room to discuss any findings with the parent.

I really like this office. I found out about it through Mountain Midwifery where my daughter was born. We went to interview the staff and they were all helpful (except one nurse who I think just misunderstood what we were doing.) Dr. Marceny is fantastic - he has multiple times taken the time with me to educate me on best practices with my LO, citing studies and reasons why to do or not do certain things. Also I feel that they work with the simple healthy basics like supporting breastfeeding, healthy diet and nurturing family.

In love with this practice from the first visit. To start we where shopping around for a pediatrician for our new born boy, not at all as easy at it sounds. The great people at pediatric pathways had us come down and meet them, unheard of. We sat down and talked briefly with all of the physicians assistants, a nurse practitioner and the doctor for long enough for us to know that our first baby would be in great hands and that we as a family could work well with this clinic.

I heard about the MDs through Mountain Midwifery Center where my son was born in Oct. So hes been going there since birth and Ive been very pleased with the office staff, scheduling, physicians & nurse practitioners. I really like how flexible they are with vaccines and are VERY supportive of breastfeeding. I only took my daughter once, for her 4 year check up and that too was a good experience.

The practice is GREAT. Docs are GREAT! Some have written about a lack of communication and rude staff. I can only imagine it true because of their policy of trying to fit in any child as best they can through the course of a day. They always answer phone calls to determine a need to "bringem in". Our child is too important to leave to a appt only sort of practice.

Very Rude Staff (Persons who talk over the phone). While running late for an appointment, They will not even work it out for a Sick baby. Will not be recommending Pediatric Pathways to anyone.

Great practice! The doctors, PAs and nurses are professional, kind and down to earth. My family really appreciates the old school approach this practice has.

Although the doctors and nurses are good, the staff at the front desk are extremely rude and arrogant. I will never take my daughter there again.
