Wow this place certenly deserves the horrible reviews it has! I have been going to this office for over a decade and recently had the worst experience. I needed to renew my Birtcintrol script so made an appointment for a yearly which is required to obtain a New Years worth of script. I no longer have insurance so was paying out of pocket for my appointment. I informed Joan Gerard my practitioner of this and that I could pay a max of a few hundred dollars total. As part of the yearly, std testing is suggested but NOT required. I wanted to do the tests but because of my finances I told Joan I would need the total of what it would cost before hand.If it was to exspensive I wanted to do the std test at a free clinic due to my situation. She understood and agreed to get me a estimate before we moved forward. I was told a couple hundred so I agreed. Well what I was NOT told is that once they send the tests to the lab an ADDITIONAL bill would be issued to me in the amount of more than $160.00 . If thats not bad enough the girl at the front desk put in the system I had Etna insurance (which I dont) so the lab ended up charging me over $300.00 as if I had Etna insurance. You can imagine my surprise when I received this huge bill in the mail with NO CLUE it was coming. This was back in December of 2016. After multiple calls to metro path and to mountain vista I finally got directed to the financial manager Rhonda Webster who I only spoke with one time on the phone. She assured me she would do everything she could to figure out what went wrong and told me she would call me in a week. That was the last week of December and I only just heard from her again via email yesterday!! I waited over two moths , with many phone calls in between made by me to get in touch with someone only to receive a flat email telling me that they cant do anything to assist me. I feel as though I have been robbed and taken on a merry go round. I made it VERY clear at my appointment what my situation was and what my spending limit was. Im being made to feel like a liar which I am not as well as being ignored for months. Rhonda had the nerve to tell me the lab "generously discounted my bill" which is a total lie! The lab originally wanted over $300.00 from me because Mountain vista staff put in in the computer I had insurance so that was the cost WITH etna. No I dont have insurance so the cost SHOULD have originally been $160.00 which this Rhonda lady wants to credit as a discount ?!? I received no discount no personal customer contact no credit to me for future appointments and no resolve for a mess up made by Mountain Vista staff. I am appalled by this facility and would never recommend it to anyone who wanted to be treated like a human. Avoid this office and this company at all costs, it will save you time money and a headache. If I could give Mountian Vista OBGYN zero stars I would.

Hi there! I want to start out by saying I very rarely right bad reviews! I pride myself on trying to see the positive in all situations. But in saying that this was a NINE MONTH experience.... that I am glad is over! I was recently a patient at this office ( 2016 ). It is partly my fault for going to them in the first place, for my first pregnancy if I may add, I picked this office for convenience; it was close to my home and close to my work and IN NETWORK with my insurance. I dismissed the negative reviews when I shouldnt have. The front desk was rude to me on multiple occasions, ( I get it! you are a busy office with lots of patients! I also work front desk and see just as many patients.. if more patients and still manage to learn patients names and have the decency to ask how they are doing... if they are having a good day )! By the end of a pregnancy you are visiting this office every week if not more! come on Gals get it together! Their billing department couldnt get their heads out of their butts to bill my correct insurance correctly ...again on MULTIPLE occasions! I am glad I know and understand insurance enough to have stayed on top of them or I would be broke. They like to bill out of network even when you are in network with them! watch the lab bills. And for the Doctor! I saw the same Doctor throughout my entire pregnancy every time I MEAN EVERY TIME! I felt like the Dr. didnt know me, didnt know what was going on with my pregnancy. I thank god I had a pretty easy pregnancy because the Dr. was NO help every time I was there. I have to say that when my baby was born I was glad I got a doctor from one of the other offices. God really blessed me in that aspect. I could go on! but for now I have really learned my lesson. AND WILL BE GOING ELSE WHERE IF I HAPPEN TO HAVE ANOTHER. On the first visit with mountain vista I had a great experience, everyone was nice. A couple visits later I didnt get to see the gynecologist because she didnt want to participate with my insurance and nobody told me but my insurance, she was nice doctor but they put me with nurses instead. The nurses had no empathy or consideration for my needs. When I got a ultrasound the lady was snutty with my mom about asking questions. Three weeks before my due date I finally got to see a doctor and they performed a procedure that my husband and I never heard of and it caused bacteria to make my water to break a week before my due date and had a emergency c section. I give a star because the front desk are kind and help or else I would of had no stars. Although I only got to see Dr. Moss just a couple of times he is a good doctor, he had to do one follow up that my doctor canceled and he did my sons circ. and did a good job and he deserves a star.

Ive been coming to this office for over 3 years now, and cant say enough how much I love it! From the phone call to schedule an appointment, to when I walk out of the office, its always a pleasant experience. Theyre very accommodating to when I need to be seen, and get me started promptly, as soon as I get there. Chloe is just AMAZING! Her smile and happy presence are contagious, and she truly goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure Im comfortable, and taken care of. (I may be a little bit of a baby when it comes to certain things.... so from holding my hand and making me laugh, to taking my blood quickly and painlessly- she is irreplaceable) Dr. Joan always takes the time to listen to my concerns and go over all the options and alternatives. I always leave feeling good about my visit and thankful for their awesome staff!

I wish I could give six stars, I had the privilege of experiencing two pregnancies in this clinic. And with pregnancy always comes questions, confusion, and nerves. Especially nerves. I was so blessed to have the support of Chloe, Rosie, and Nicki. I dont think I could have survived two back to back pregnancies with out these women. Chloe always helped with my appointments, any questions, and even once or twice gave me a hand with my daughter. Rosie was always a listening ear and extremely knowledgeable when I needed answers and comfort. I even once had an appointment I was extremely nervous about and Nicki held my hand through the procedure. Again, I wish I could give six stars. A million stars. The people at this office care. And it shows. Thank you again ladies!
