Wow - hardly ever write reviews but for all of the women who need Ob/Gyn services this may help you decide. I was a new patient. Booked my appointed in January 2017 and the actual appointment was LAST WEEK (July-2017). They called me to remind me as I was heading down I-45 at 70 mph with all of this information I needed to do before my appointment including accessing a portal, completing paperwork, and their new office address. When I arrived for my appointment the waiting room was packed with women - some waiting over 45 minutes according to the lady and her daughter next to me. I was told by the unfriendly robot working behind the desk you have exactly 18 minutes to complete this paperwork and if you do not finish by your appointment time we cancel your appointment. WOW - so I waited patiently 7 months and now I need to do a rush job on my history? It was so rude and I have never heard this rule at any other office. Also they collected $330 from me before I set foot in the back to see the doctor because I was self pay. New to me but REALLY? why not wait to see what the outcome of the appointment is before taking my money? Dr. Huebner was actually really nice but I am not having a baby, nor am I having any issues. I am just a normal female getting a routine PAP. The office staff in the back is unfriendly and robotic, all staring at computers and making no attempt to meet you with a smile or eye contact. Her nurse was nice but we had about a 7 second chat and she was on her way. I stepped out while waiting for Dr. Huebner to go to the restroom and no one staff member looked at me, spoke to me, smiled at me. They all look TOO BUSY and OVER WORKED. SO WHY AM I WRITING THIS REVIEW?? Because I had babies 10 years ago and if this were the newly pregnant me looking for a doctor LOOK ELSEWHERE! Are you really wanting this wonderful experience to be so robotic and unpleasant. If you are late for an appointment they WILL CANCEL IT. And no one goes out of their way to be nice. They just work there. You are a patient to them but not a new and nervous glowing mom-to-be in need of reassurance that you can do this and you will be an awesome new parent. I called to get the results of my PAP and the message from the office back to me was so short, curt and matter-of-fact even though I left a message and said I know the results are normal but I still have a few questions... good luck :)

All About Women / Dr. Richter may be fine if you have a textbook pregnancy and delivery, but if anything goes wrong, shell completely neglect you. My 2nd pregnancy was difficult. At Week 24 I began having “unproductive preterm labor.” Despite the diagnosis, every time I called All About Women with contractions or bleeding, the nurse acted like it was all in my head and actually sounded annoyed. L&D couldnt stop my contractions, so I was prescribed medication and partial bedrest for the remaining 16 weeks of my pregnancy. When I finally delivered, my body was so exhausted, I completely tore my glute while pushing. I was in the hospital for 6 days, in agony, unable to walk. After sending me home, I was in so much pain I was throwing up and couldnt hold my baby, but Richter refused to prescribe me pain medicine or refer me to an injury specialist. She also canceled my follow up appointments with her, and her nurse hung up on me when I called. I called my insurance and was eventually treated by a pain management doctor and physical therapist, who both seemed dismayed, and said my injury was mismanaged by Richter. I couldnt pick up my baby for 4 weeks or walk without crutches for 9 weeks. I sent a formal complaint to the Texas Medical Board, and later received a terse letter from Richter saying she will no longer be my doctor.

Im not sure what happened with the lady who posted about dr. Richter. I actually had to sign in to rate this simply because I was really thrown off. Dr. Richter delivered all 3 of my kids. She is absolutely amazing. My 2nd pregnancy I started bleeding around 24 weeks and was instructed to go to L&D. I was admitted over night and the staff was nothing short of compassionate. Dr. Richter handled everything very professionally and I wouldnt trust any other doctor more than her to care for my pregnancy/woman needs. On the flip side I have womanly issues and they frequently seem to cause issues. I HATE having to call into the nurse and ask for help, but they are always nice and return my calls in a timely manner. Dr Richter really does care about her patients and its just obvious someone is always going to have an issue with a certain person or provider. Dont let the one negative review sway your mind. Better yet go see her yourself I bet you wont regret it.

Absolutely the most terrible experience ever! Everything was extremely impersonal, not fun or exciting at all. We went in for our first ultrasound and they have guy named Muhammad as the ultrasound tech and he walk way up in front of us and then didnt say a word for the entire session until the end when he rips off a sheet of pictures he had taken; hands them to us over his back saying here are some pictures of your baby and turns back around to face his computer. Worst experience ever. My wife was crying, that was her experience seeing and hearing the heartbeat of her first child for the first time. Then the front desk ladies do not even know why we were there and we had to tell them what we just finished doing and they proceed to tell us that the doctor will review and call us in a few days. BAD BAD BAD. Piss poor office with piss poor service!

love the Dr, hate the billing department. So, really its not worth going there if youre going to be screwed over by their billing department. Paid over $4,000 upfront for prenatal, delivery, postnatal and circ,. Left at 36 weeks, and when I tried to get my money back they would only pay me $600!!! The delivery alone was $3000!! They sent us an itemized list showing bills we had paid, but now were more money and demanded we pay the difference! WTH!?! They paid some lab bills without my consent that were not sent through to my insurance! Then they refused to refund them back to the lab company so that they could be run through the insurance and I could pay for them! There are plenty of other Drs in the North Houston area. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Some of the worst customer service I have ever received. They wrote my prescription wrong not once but twice. I called and called and had to leave message after message for them to get back to me. I had to physically go into their office today to get my prescription straight and they still f***ed it up. Now my pharmacy has to call again (second time today) to get my pill straightened out since the office filled the wrong one. Unhelpful staff, incredibly frustrating experience and I will never return. If an office cant even fill a script correctly how are they a competent office. Do not go here.
