I recently switched to this vet and am SO happy I did! Im only sorry I didnt change sooner! Every member of the staff I have encountered has been professional and super friendly. Dr. Atlas is wonderful! He really takes the time and interest to explain things and, most importantly, really seems to care about my dogs wellbeing. The previous practice I took my pets to had MANY vets- and the last two I had the displeasure of meeting were beyond rude and were totally wrong about multiple things- because they wouldnt listen to anything I tried to tell them! I certainly am not a DVM, but I do know plenty about my 13 year old dogs behavior and what is and is not "normal" for her. I found these vets to be very egotistical and felt they talked down to me. Dr. Atlas, on the other hand, actually listened to what I had to say and agreed that her quality of life/comfort is of the upmost importance. My dog even acted noticeably different around Dr. Atlas than our previous vets! She was less scared and gladly followed him around and let him rub her belly! He is very friendly and thorough, and I felt comfortable with trusting him with my dogs care. He even came in on his day off to check my dogs injury a few days after bandaging it to see how it was healing!! Also, there were no hidden charges- he was very honest about estimating charges and did not try to talk me into additional procedures. The office itself is very clean (my husband and I sat on the floor during a bandage change and were impressed!) Like many, my pets are my babies. It is SO important to me to feel like their vet actually cares about them. Here, I do- for the first time in a long time! I am so appreciative of the entire staff here and grateful I finally changed!

My dog had cancer, and ultimately i had to put her down. Everyone at the firehouse facility was compassionate and kind. This was very had for me, i had just gone through a divorce and my dog Jager felt like the last thing that tied me to a much simpler time. She was a wonderful dog and they treated her well. The gave me all the time i needed, and when the moment came there was no doubt in my mind she was comfortable and felt nothing. They were not concerned about any immediate payment and would bill me later on. The final expenses were very reasonable. I could not have possibly been happier with this place and how compassionate they were at a very difficult time. A few weeks later i received a card from the vet and each person there hand signed it and wrote a little message offering their condolences, that really was appreciated, probably more than they know. If my husky ever needs a vet, I know where Im going. As for the family who dropped of their 18 year old cat, that is very unfortunate, but Im not sure how somebody could just leave their cat and not be with the animal at the final hour, and then complain about anything.

Our Puggle Bubba was 11 years old when we discovered three days before moving to the east coast that he had a cancerous tumor. After realizing that it was too large and connected to remove and all other options would only buy him painful months, we decided to put him down. The entire staff was incredibly sensitive and gave us options without steering or judging. They provided paw prints for both of our kids. We have now relocated and are setting in and received the nicest sympathy card in the mail, signed by all 6 members. This clinic goes above and beyond, I would definitely recommend for all your furry friends needs. :)

I love this place! Everyone here is so friendly and caring. Plus, I can tell that they all like my cat a lot! :-) Dr. Rinehart is very knowledgeable and friendly. I initially took my cat in for an infection and she treated it first very naturally by encouraging a collar. That worked out perfectly after a week and the wound healed up naturally. I just took my cat in for another visit for a digestive issue and we are working on a solution with his diet first. Hopefully that will fix the problem as I always believe its best to try the natural solution as opposed to medications. Take your pets here with no worries!!

Best veterinary services in Denver. I have been taking my puppy to Dr. Wilks since we got her and I have to say that this is the best vet I have ever seen. She is thorough, takes her time with my dog, takes the time to explain everything to me and my wife and is pleasant and kind. I would recommend that you use VCA Dakota ridge and Dr. Wilks for your pets health. Also they have a person on staff to do Acupuncture for pets which has helped so many arthritic and pain ridden pets I love that they are willing to do whatever it takes to help out pets of all types.

I couldnt be more impressed with this staff and overall experience here. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could! They got my pup in super fast on a last minute appointment, and spoiled him with treats and love. Dr. Rinehart answered any questions or concerns I had and even sent a personal email to follow up and reach out for any further needs. Call me crazy but I WILL be driving from Parker for all future visits and/or treatments for my pup (Lucky). You wont be disappointed!

I had to euthanize our 17 year old pooch, Max. The staff and vet were incredible and made a terribly difficult act abit more peaceful and they were very kind to Max and to us. When I picked up the beautiful pawprint and urn I was surprised how beautiful they were. Then I got 2 cards in the mail this week with ALL of the staff writing heartfelt words along with a contribution they made in Maxs memory which I wasnt even aware of. They were incredible, thank you VCA Dakota Ridge!!

The people at Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital are all wonderful. They are knowledgeable, gentle, and extremely caring about every animal that comes through their doors. They are awesome about answering any questions you may have, at any time of the day. I will never take my pets elsewhere, and I cannot recommend them enough.

I brought my cat here for the first time. She died 3 days later after they said she probably just had altitude sickness from my move....insult to absolute injury.. they miserably misspelled her name on her clay pawprint and her urn. Quite possibly the worst experience Ive ever had with a vet...

The staff and Drs were very helpful, informative and patient. I received thorough instructions before and after my mini dachshounds surgery. Notes and meds and aftercare needs and a check call the day after and 24 hr. numbers if needed.

Great place to rely on for your pets health needs. The staff is always top notch and helpful. I have always been able to get the appointments I need. The only thing I would not rate 5 stars is the prices that I feel are a bit high.
