Thought about changing vets for a change of pace for my animals, and the prices of meds at my current (still current) vet is quite exorbitant. So I scheduled an appointment, and due to unforeseen circumstances I was going to be five minutes late. As with any other appointment, I called and let the receptionist know I would be five minutes late. She responded with a "Well how long are you going to be?" Repeated by me saying five minutes. She said no, were going to have to reschedule. Sorry but if my pet is sick Im not waiting another day simply because that five minutes inconvenienced the vet. Congratulations losing a possible future customer and enjoy your honest, but humble review. Thanks.

Been taking my animals here since 1986. Will NOT take them anywhere else. The care they provide is unmatched by any other pet health organization in town. They even, at tbeir own expense, performed an autopsy on one of my cats to because i was so distraught not knowing why she passed. Dr. Mugasis and staff are the best! They will do their best to fit you in if you dont have an appointment and their prices are very reasonable.

First time going to this Vet. we moved here a year and a half ago and where still taking our dogs to Colorado Springs because we wanted the best care and had not heard very good reviews on places here in Pueblo. Good news though Pets and Friends is great! The service was fast they answered all of our quetsions and best of all my dog who is usually very timid at the vet was at ease and not stressed in the least.

Dont have a review of the care but I called on a Friday to ask if they were accepting new dog patients, they said yes, called back Monday right when they opened at 8am and they said we could get an appointment next week, talked it over with fiance and called back 5 minutes later and all of a sudden not accepting new dog patients. Ridiculous.

20 years ago, before emergency pet services in Pueblo, our chihuahua got sick and needed emergency care on a Friday night. A vet from pets and friends was the only vet in Pueblo willing to meet us after hours at the office. They saved her life. Since then they have cared for all of dogs, and now that I am an adult they care for pups.

They were very nice and understanding to my dog but Im upset about the negative comments they made towards me. Such as, "the dog is so nice... much nicer than Ben is. HAHAHAHA." They laughed in my face and were disrespectful to me. I dont appreciate being treated like a child by strangers. Well be looking elsewhere for a vet.

Ive been bringing my pets (Great Danes)(cats) here since I moved to P.W., about 3.5 years now. The front desk is always welcoming and helpful. Dr. Mugasis and or Dr. Rubio have always been good with my pets, honest and helpful in any way they can. Their prices are more than reasonable. I would recommend this vet to anyone.
