Best urgent care experience Ive ever had. I often go to those little clinic places but rarely go to urgent care because its generally a long line and a short visit even if you have something serious like a raging sinus infection or a broken arm. Id held off going to the doctor because my experiences with urgent care have been so universally bad. So I had a low bar. I went on a weekday in the evening, around five. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and got me checked in quickly. My name was called almost as soon as I was done with the paperwork. The nurse took my vitals and then the physician assistant came in to discuss my condition and make a diagnosis and talk to me about the medicine they wanted to prescribe. They called it into the pharmacy in the same plaza and I got it ten minutes later. So an hour after walking in, I was ready to go home with medicine to help me. Also, everyone was kind and didnt talk down to me or make me feel like I was malingering. I usually avoid doctors until I have had a condition for months because so often doctors are a waste of time and money who dont solve your problem and make you feel like an idiot for even asking for help, but Im glad I went to this place. They even said "I hope you feel better soon," which was a kind thing to say. You know, like one human might say to another human, if they cared, which is what you want in a doctor. Minor complaint, they didnt tell me about a contraindication for one of the drugs (sunlight is bad with this antibiotic) and I had to find out about it online. But to be fair, the pharmacist didnt warn me either.

I have been here on 3 occasions, with very mixed results. The first was a long wait time (2+ hour - dont show up first thing Saturday morning) but I got the treatment I needed. The second was very quick and got everything I needed (antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection). The third was a very strange experience - no wait, but was yelled at by the provider for coming in, saying things like "Were more than happy to take your money, but you should not come here" and "I dont know you from Adam" and "Consistency is key" - they were all around why I did not go to my primary care physician (whose office was closed that week). I thought I might have Lyme, so had bloodwork drawn. When the results came back, I was never notified. When I called them a week later, I was told that I had Lyme disease and needed to see an infectious diseases doctor (gave me a list). I called my PCP, who started me on an antibiotic treatment w/o seeing an ID doctor. Now, a week into the antibiotics, I read the test results more closely and I dont have Lyme. I dont think I will be going back to this facility.

Worst place ever. Staff was extremely unprofessional. They kept making obnoxious comments in front of me. I heard them use foul and rude language. The quality care was also the worst ever, they do not explain what they are doing so you dont know what position they want you in. Staff was extremely rude. Never felt so angry at any kind of medical staff who are suppose to be professional. I will make sure no one I know ever visits this place. This place was such a horrible experience that I am actually doing a review for the first time ever to make sure everyone knows this is a bad place. DO not make the same mistake as I did of wasting money on them for them to be rude. Did not have insurance, but I paid my bill even before I was seen, so they did not have an excuse to be unethical. Will post this all over the internet because it honestly is that bad.

Wife walked right out because they cant figure out how or what ChampVa is and no its not tricare anymore its The Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) is a comprehensive health care program in which the VA shares the cost of covered health care services and supplies with eligible beneficiaries. And laughing about my wifes insurance behind her back and then talking about her issue was very unprofessional. If its not taken by your company remove it off your website or update your staff on how to do their billing. If someone could contact me ASAP with an answer if you do or do not except it anymore? it seems when you call the other location in Kenneth Square and they can call the Hockessin location how to do their billing the correct way. Yes they take ChampVA!

Excellent Care but HORRIBLE billing practices. Receptionist convinced me that I had not met my deductible (she never called my insurance company to verify although she told me she had) and billed me $170 UPFRONT. I was sick - I paid it. Once they submitted a claim to my insurance, which I had to call and insist they sod - they processed a $136 credit to my "account" Not refund check or credit to my original form of payment. Just a notation on my account that I was due $136. I had to call them and request my money back. They told me if I wanted a refund check it would take 6 MONTHS to receive or provide them with a credit card # for the refund. This has to be illegal. FUMING and about to call the BBB

Staff is terrible. If you have a high deductible plan be aware! Any other walk in / urgent care charges the specialist fee and submit to insurance and then I would pay the difference. Not this place! They charge their entire fee upfront. Spoke with BC/BS and this was handled incorrectly according to them. My daughter is now out that money until I get it reimbursed from HSA account. the receptionist kept saying we charged a portion of the deductible and I asked well isnt that your fee for an uninsured person and they replied yes. So I said u didnt charge a portion, you charged her your entire fee. "Oh thats not what we did. We charged a portion of the deductible." Yea okay!

Took my husband with strong headache nasal congestion body ache chills non stop cough, sneezing he was sick, he just needed to be seen sooner than the next day.. Waited a while, (understandable they were busy)... Finally seen by the physician to diagnosed him with acid reflux.. Really? I take him next day to primary doctor and guess what.. He was prescribed antibiotic due to upper respiratory infection, chronic sinus infection..and is not caused by acid reflux.. It gets better, the insurance will pay for an urgent visit on top of the co-pay we had to pay. NOT HAPPY..

I had a horrible experience with this facility. I visited them earlier this year in evening, came in with my terrible sore throat, headache and hard to breathe. I waited and saw a nurse. She told me to go home take my allergy pill. I told her that I took the pill everyday and it doesnt help. Another one came in, not offer any medicines and they sent me out. I later saw my family doctor and got antibiotic and spray to help my situation. Then I received a bill from this facility for my visit, really? You didnt help at all and you billed me for what? Such a scam.
