I went here for the very first time, and went to this location because its the closest to our home. I made an appointment, which I definitely recommend, though even with an appointment, I still was there a total of 25 minutes just for a simple blood draw. I got called to the desk probably 5 minutes after my appointment time (to take my insurance info and what not) which took probably 10 minutes. Then sat and waited probably another 5 to be taken back for my blood draw. Honestly, Im not that upset about waiting, but I had nowhere to be. Had I been a person trying to do this on my lunch break, it wouldve been an issue. My issue first and foremost is that the phlebotomist did a god awful job. It hurt like heck, and the pain actually made me dizzy as I was leaving. Worse yet, I developed a huge swollen bump (a hematoma I believe?) where shed gone in. I still have a bad bruise from it. Im not trying to be dramatic, but that was THE worst blood draw Ive ever had. In terms of staff, I only interacted with the desk person and the phlebotomist. Everyone seems very...downtrodden. No one smiles. Im sure working there is no picnic, but getting blood drawn is very stressful for many people, so having friendly faces would be a major bonus. If my doctor continues to order blood work, I think I will drive further to try another location to see if its any better. Im too afraid to return to this one, because I refuse to let that phlebotomist touch me again, and I dont want an awkward confrontational scene.

For my testing as an adult, this locations technicians have always done a good job. The first time I brought my 11yr old boy to this location to have six tubes of blood drawn, the technician was fantastic, the second time was a nightmare! The mother/daughter team at this location were too aggressive with my son on April 22, 2012. The mother came in and tried to make my son laugh, then without warning, she grabbed my sons arm and was holding him down! There was no reason for this action so I told her to stop, she didnt. I yelled at her to let my son go and she finaly responded once I told her she was frightening him! This trip was for only one tube of blood and not six. He did great the first time but was scared the second time ONLY because of this woman and her aggressive actions. My son has been through 6 heart surgeries and multiple other procedures and has never been this scared, all because this woman assumed my son would be a problem for her daughter. Shame on you for scaring a little boy who didnt deserve or need your harsh and unprofessional treatment.

Arrived 8:05am, 10/13/14 (No appointment). A man, other than the lady I normally deal with, was directing people to come to his window, etc. I waited 50 minutes. Four times he cleaned out the waiting people, but did not call me. As I waited, a client came in...FOUR TIMES!...and would be called to the mans window. after 50 minutes, I left!!! No, its never happened before. I realize appointments have priority, but Im age 71, its not my first rodeo, the guy could have squeezed me in! Maybe my 101st Airborne cap offended him. I dont know, but he looked at me several times, so he had to see me. I had an organ transplant four years ago, and have been using Quest ever since...first time I ever had a problem. I felt like he thought I had the plague I have never had an appointment before, but I will from now on. Been going to 5298 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL for a little less than two years.

I went there two days ago to get my blood test done, I made an appointment online, but even so I had to register again in the office, which I dont see the point of, but anyways, because of my appointment I just waited for 5 min, but the lady who took my samples, she just teared up my vein, it was super painful and I have a bruise that goes from my forearm to my arm, she is african-american, with like a bob cut hair, dont go with her.

PFF "PROFESSIONAL FAST AND FRIENDLY" Signed in at 7:10, I was out at 7:40. Our conversation regarding payment was professional. Everyone from the desk clerk to the phlebotomist was VERY professional and abnormally nice. Even though I was kinda cranky because I was fasting. :) My blood work will be done there for now on!!!!

My parents were given the best courteous treatment ever at a blood facility.All the ladies were wonderful and NO pain was inflicted on mum and dad.The only down point was the ladies were more funnier than me :-(

Made an appointment a week ago for 8 a.m. this morning. Arrived on time. Its now 8:30, and I have not even been checked in. Do not plan on keeping a schedule if you take the time to make an appointment.
