Dr. Carrier and his amazing staff of animal lovers treat me and my fur-baby Bonita with kid gloves. The office is usually a bustle of activity, but they are never too busy to smile, greet, and show some sunshine. My doggy gets excited when she sees the techs and goes with them willingly because they take very good care of her. So far, Bonnie has received all her shots, major surgery to "fix" her (no babies in her future), basic grooming, and a concerned check up for food allergies by the Doctor. I am a nurse and felt no sense of belittlement or paternalism when he offers thorough explanations and advice. I drive 30 miles past other animal clinics to enjoy the care my Bonnie gets. Dont worry about the negatives--this group loves the animals.

He is a very honest Vet, and brought our dog into good health since he was given to us from a friend with existing complications we were unaware of. I would recommend him to anyone looking for great Vet in the Lakeland area.

This is the worst vet I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly but the vet/dr thats there is terrible. Very rude talks to like a child as if you dont have a clue as to how to take care of your pet. He is apprenlty god to all animals and without him they will all die. Do not go here. Ever!!!!!

Dr Chris and his team are knowledgeable - using when needed the newest techniques, proactive in their care, and so helpful and friendly! My dogs have been patients of CAC since 1975. This team is second none - like seeing old friends when we visit.

After my appointment it was quite clear that this is hands down the best hospital Ive ever taken my dog too. The vet techs were very knowledgeable and I liked the doctors quirky sense of humor. Will def be telling my friends about this great place.
