I love Dr. Mattson, she takes care of all of my animals and would never consider seeing another Vet as long as she is in practice. I have never had a Vet that gives the level of attention that she does. She provides routine care for my cats and dogs but in times of crisis she is second to none. I trust no one more to care for my babies. She could not do it all without a devoted excellent staff, Stephanie and Erica gave me so much confidence in my recent visit, they have no idea what they did for me so thank you! I would like to say thank you to Dr. Mattson and her staff, I had another serious issue this week with one of my cats. I was a nervous wreck and she and her staff took such good care of both of us. If you need vet services do not hesitate to take your babies to her. Excellent support staff and excellent services by Dr. Mattson.

My experience has been excellent. She is down to earth and has a very easy way with the animals. While she was treating my 10 yr old yorkie, she noticed right away that her breathing makes her think she has cushings disease. I had asked my former vet about it and he said it was because she was overweight. Ill admit that is not good, and we are working on it. But he never offered to check her for ANYTHING. I always have senior lab done on her every 6 mos. Some things came back highly suspicious, so Dr Mattson suggested we go ahead and test her for cushings. It did come back positive. She is now treating her for it. She is always friendly and always goes that extra mile. I would recommend her to any one. She is awesome.

A couple of weeks ago I took my dog into thw SPCA in order to have her spayed. When they spayed her they forgot to take out one of her cancerous ovaries and left her bleeding inside of her abdomen!! Thank God for Dr. Mattson of Companion Animal Hospital who also does shifts at the Emergency Vet on 98S. I took my dog into the Emergency Vet with nearly no blood in her veins due to the poor sugery she recieved at the SPCA. Dr. Mattson had to totally redo the whole surgery! She is the most caring Vet that I have ever met. She will treat your animal like it is her own!! I now trust her and only her with any surgeries performed on my dogs!! Thank You Dr. Mattson for all your help and support!!!

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Mattson. I found her when I took a dog off the street that had cancer. Dr. Mattson was always there for us. Then when I adopted two more dogs after Molly passed I knew the only vet I would trust is Dr. Mattson. She has a heart of gold and treats every animal coming through her doors as if they were her own. She gets down on the floor with Biggie and she is so understanding about Chubbs being afraid of everything and is so very good to my babies. If you are looking for a caring vet not one that is out for the money Dr. Mattson is the vet you want!!

She and her staff are always friendly and focused on my pets and the care they receive. The hospital is always warm and inviting and they are up to speed on some of the latest technology to assist in the diagnosis and care of our pets. I have enjoyed having my puppy as one of there patients. They are by far the best for $$ and the kind staff are the cherry on top. They are always kind heartd and have a smile even when others are not having such luck with there animals. I was referred by a dear friend who still use these gals. We have used Companion Animal Hospital for several years. In addition to having a talented and compassionate veterinarian, their staff is polite and attentive. I have found their prices to be very reasonable and a superb value considering the level of care my pet receives. Since they opened four years ago, they seem to be getting busier each time I visit. Clearly, the word has gotten out that Dr. Mattson is the best vet in town.

**EDIT: I moved recently and I have to say the only thing I miss about Lakeland is Companion Animal Hospital and how amazing they were with my pets. I think Ive been spoiled because no vet in Orlando comes even close to filling Dr. Mattsons shoes. :b Dr. Mattson is excellent with both my puppy and my cat. The only veterinarian that I would trust with my pets!

It is difficult to know where to take your pets when in a new location. Our pet sitter recommended Dr. Mattson. I read the reviews, called and my husband and I found everyone to be extremely kind, helpful, informative, and we were not rushed. Highly recommend. Dr. Mattson will be our pets doctor from now on. I absolutely love companion animal hospital!!! The staff truly cares about animals. The vet has the biggest heart in the world. I use to go to Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital and every time I walked out of there my bill was $200+. I go the CA hospital and I dont spend nearly as much and I get to see a more qualified doctor.

We were going to another vet and we had an emergency and our vet would not see our dog -everyone was in a meeting. We called several vets in the area and Dr. Mattson took our baby immediately. We now take all our fur kids to Companion Animal Hospital. The entire team there is wonderful.
