Ive contemplated writing a review but my experience needs to be expressed.. This is not a cat friendly facility. I brought my two children in for an annual check up. Upon arrival it was very UNORGANIZED with a wait for people checking out (in a very small entry room). It seemed dirty and not very clean (extreme lack of pride for the facility). The front desk secretary brought us back to a cooped room where I literally sat for 20 min. If you own/understand a cat, you understand that new surroundings can be very uncomfortable. Finally, the dr. and dr.s assistant arrived. My babies were extremely on edge and the assistant without hesitation FORCEFULLY grabbed my cat by the back of her neck and pulled her out of the oversized cage she was hiding in. That was the first red flag! You wonder why she was so upset and uncooperative! The female cat is the most skittish but temperamental in an uncomfortable situation and that forcefully unconcerned act caused her to become extremely temperamental toward my other cat - hissing, biting, and simply wanted to be left alone. IVE NEVER HAD A VET TREAT MY ANIMALS WITH SUCH DISRESPECT! They did the same to my male cat, but he is very patient and doesnt get easily upset. He was the main reason I sent him in since he feels lighter then normal. The Dr. felt around on them, checked their teeth, and said their healthy and good to go.. left the room and that was it. I sat there, confused and unknowing what was next. So I packed up my children and proceeded to the front desk to pay - which was a cluster in itself. Then to be chased down by the nurse to fill paperwork out and 20 min later, they finally took my card and charged me the full price of a visit after I was supposed to get the new patient discount. Thankfully, they did not hesitate to refund accordingly. Lastly, it made me extremely uncomfortable to see a cat being "disciplined" for reacting to a nurses rough housing. One nurse picked up the black cat which seemed to be the office cat, started playing roughly while holding it. It was biting back, seemed to be playing.. and another nurse picked the cat up by the back of the neck and FORCED it onto the front counter and SMACKED it on the head telling it no!! What kind of establishment uses so much force on their patients with an extreme lack of respect to their overall well being! I felt like a number, and all they wanted was to get paid. NEVER AGAIN. The main reason for this response is to express my anger for the lack of respect given to my children. My cat is still not well and this place simply took $100 of my money to look at their teeth and feel their stomach. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They are definitely a dog facility.

I see that other people have written good reviews about how they dont discrimnate dogs here but this is my experience and Im happy to hear that theyve either switched vets or come around. I took my dog to Trinity Pet Hospital 5 years ago or so to get her started with a vet and the vet told me that I need to give up my dog or put her to sleep because shes an overpopulated breed with an aggressive reputation. I never heard a vet talk like that before. I was crying and he was very matter-of-fact. My dog is sweet and gentle and Ive had her for 5 years in a house and I have 2 small kids. He said I should buy a lab or poodle. My dog hated it too...she was freaked out before she even got in the door and was acting completely out of character the whole time. Something was wrong there and she could sense it. I take my dog to Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness. I might be a little fancy and on the expensive side, but theyre kind and my dog isnt scared or nervous. Thus far, its been good experience with Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness.

Our dog came down with AIHA, which is a moderately uncommon disease in dogs, and Dr. Lamb knew of the disease and how to treat it effectively. He had to do a blood transfusion and prescribed drugs. The disease has a 50% fatality rate, and our Daisy eventually died after a week of fighting this horrible disease. But Dr. Lamb was kind, went above and beyond trying to save her, and was kind to my wife and I as well. Dr. Lamb explained everything thoroughly so that we always knew what was going on and were informed of the drugs we were administering. Even though Daisy died, I know Dr. Lamb did everything he could. We thank him and his caring staff for everything. We are especially grateful that we were able to say our goodbyes to our beloved dog before she died. Thank you Dr. Lamb, you are the best vet and well continue bringing our other beagle in under your care.

We have been taking our two cats and two pitbulls to Trinity Pet hospital for the past several years. Dr. Lamb and staff have always been so helpful. Not once have we ever had any sort of discrimination due to owning pitbulls. Everyone there makes us feel so welcome and taken care of. Prices are fair, they are always willing to work you in, and not once have we ever been dissatisfied. If you are looking for a vet, I promise you wont be disappointed. I would also like to share this story: Today when I had taken my pit there for a follow up exam after his surgery, the vet techs took him in the back to remove his bandages. I could hear them loving on him, speaking so kindly to him and soothing him. Hearing this reconfirms that we have the best vet office around! Thank you Trinity Pet Hospital!

Took my Chi here today for the first time after hearing great stuff about them from my groomer (Dog Patch). I really like the place, the staff were super kind & very knowledgeable, they got me in right away, the vet techs were great with my nippy, little dog, couldnt have been any friendlier & helpful! I have had trouble with my dog getting ear infections for yrs., so the vet is trying him on something new, to see if maybe that will help get it cleared up (first time anyone even thought to try something different with him), was very knowledgeable, willing to take the time to answer all my questions, etc., she is just an all-around wonderful vet. The pricing wasnt outrageous either, which always helps! I will be back with ALL my dogs! Thanks guys for all your help!

Dr. Lamb has been my vet since 1997, when he was located at his former practice in Dunedin. Dr. Lamb, Kim, Mrs. Lamb and his staff are incredible. They are compassionate and trustworthy. My dog recently got a tumor and went from great health to suffering in a matter of days. Dr. Lamb was honest with me about my options and helped me come to grips with making the right decision. He, Mrs. Lamb, and Kim showed such empathy and sincere love for my Maggie as well as for me when we made the decision and stayed with us, supporting me the entire time. I dont know how I would have made it through that day without them. They arent just my vet, they are my family and the best decision you can make for your furry friends is to trust Trinity Animal Hospital.
