My challenge in writing a review about Park Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Bergeron, Dr. Loss, Diane, Jessica, Kim, Darlene, Jennifer, Luis .... everyone ... is not turning this review into a story. What I can say is I walked into Park Veterinary Hospital on April 21, 2015, after my Waggie Maggie senior rescue had been unsuccessfully treated for some form of skin issue that morphed into secondary skin infections by another veterinarian for several months. I thought I was going to be letting my Maggie go to the Rainbow Bridge that day. Dr. Bergeron didnt see it that way! He said words such that I have not heard from any veterinarian in many years, ".... Im just not seeing a dog that is ready to be let go yet, and if I take her life, I cant give it back". That one statement will live in my heart forever. He asked me to let him treat Maggie in the way he believed was correct. There was no other answer I had other than saying "ABSOLUTELY" through my tears! Within just 48 hours my Maggie was already improving and Maggie at now 13 1/2 is so healthy that she has "silly attacks" on a daily basis and pulls me down the street on our walks! Park Veterinary Hospital became my veterinary office from that point forward for my Leah, as well. I need to fast forward a little bit as I recently had to let my beautiful girl, Leah, travel to the Rainbow Bridge, which ripped my heart out. If love could have healed my baby girl, she would be here today. After this I felt the need to know exactly what was going on inside my Maggie and scheduled an appointment for her to have a senior wellness check. Dr. Bergeron was at a seminar at the time I brought Maggie in so I did not get to speak with him. Upon his return and learning of what happened, he called me and left the kindest, most genuine message for me. As I listened to him speak, the genuine love and caring Dr. Bergeron felt was so clearly evident, as was his sadness that he had not been there to see me and Maggie when we came in. But it was not only Dr. Bergeron that demonstrated such genuine love and caring. Everyone at Park Veterinary Hospital did as well, so much so I heard myself say, "This is why I bring my kids here. This is why Park Veterinary Hospital is different from every other animal hospital that exists" Amelia, my feline fur baby, has yet to be introduced to the PVH family, and I look forward to bringing her in to become another PVH family member! I refer every person I know to Park Veterinary Hospital because they are separate and apart from any other veterinary hospital! Need more proof? Check them out on Facebook, then stop in and see for yourself !! This review has been approved by "Waggie Maggie" :-)

I am reviewing this clinic as it was a huge disappointment and the worst part about it I use to work there for a while couple days a week. I called the clinic and advised them my dog is seizing and would like to bring him in they advised me to come in but the doctors arent in yet, they dont get here until 9. I arrived around that time and nothing was set up or ready to treat a seizing dog. I had my complete record of my pet from birth to current showed him the records and he didnt care. I also had a disk to quicker viewing as their computers wasnt set up to read adobe files and that is surprising when the run cornerstone program. Needless to say Dr. Denis Bergeron was not concerned about my dog or no vitals were taken on my dog. He just wanted to refer me to a specialist and gave me the impression that he did not want to run any blood work or anything. Seemed really resistant to see my pet. Very disappointed of how my dog and myself were treated, he advised me that there would be no charge but I stated I took his time from other appointments and wanted to pay for the time so I was charged 40.00 for the experience. An experience I will ever have again he lost 4 new clients because of this.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. B for over 15 years now. When he worked at Merryfield and grew into his own place in Oakland Park, he has always been professional with a friendly touch no matter what the reason my dogs would be in to see him. Ive seen him on the floor to help with my dogs, whether it was to exam them, treat them, or to just calm them down. Weve been in to see him from everything from the regular routine visits to having surgery because the dog ate something that he wasnt suppose to. Every time we were treated with the feeling like we were family. All the dogs that I have had and have now just love him. His wife (fiance` at that time) worked the front desk and gave extraordinary care and kindness to everyone (people and animals) that were waiting to see the doctor. They married and she stayed home to raise the family and is now back in the business of greeting and taking care of each and every animal and their families to walk through the door. She is definitely a "plus" to this business. Sometimes, I will see Dr. Bs kids helping out with the animals. A real "Family" business! I love it! Love it! Love it!

The entire staff went above and beyond for my mission to bring my dog with me to Amsterdam to live. Despite the fact that I was traveling and had surgery in the midst of what I felt was chaos. They made it so easy for me. As I originally went to a different vet prior to finding this location and as I know its my responsibility to know what I need done in order to have my Gia accepted into another country. He never informed me that on top of the health certificates it would also need to be stamped at the department of agriculture, which was very hard to get in contact with and almost seemed impossible. Park veterinary hospital provided phone numbers and all worked together giving me directions to the USDA on top of working around my hectic schedule to make sure Gia was healthy, passing the regulations needed to enter the Netherlands and was good to go. I thank you all very much and highly recommend this veterinary hospital to everyone. I really am grateful for everything that theyve done for Gia and I. Hugs x1000 Amy & Gia

Park Veterinary Hospital is by far the best veterinary hospital in the Ft. Lauderdale area. I live in Boca Raton and travel down there because of that reason." Dr. B."and his entire staff of doctors and caregivers are totally professional and so compassionate as well. They saved our sixteen year old Maltese when she underwent emergency surgery last year. They truly love her there as much as she does them and that is why I board her there too. They are all like a second family to her and that is why I feel totally comfortable with leaving her there at any given point and time. You will fall in love with their facility the moment you walk through their doors ,it is so beautiful and well kept and receptionists are warm and welcoming too. They are so gracious when you call there and are ready and able to take care of your every need. So when you are searching for a veterinarian for newly adopted pet, look no further than Park Veterinary Hospital for the best all around treatment you can get. Gale Steelman
