I have been taking my babies to East Orange Animal Hospital for at least ten years. I started off with Banfield, but they were horrendous. My male cat had developed bladder crystals and Banfield vets kept telling me my cat was going to die and would insist my cat had additional health problems without doing proper testing. They told me my cat was diabetic, which was later proven false by East Orange Animal Hospital after thorough and appropriate testing. I made it known that I wanted to find a new vet after several negative experiences with Banfield and a family member recommended East Orange Animal Hospital. I have had appointments with all the doctors who clearly present options for treatment based on what is best for my cats and I. I noticed a few complaints about pricing. I am always advised of prices ahead of time. Their pricing is competitive but theyve always taken my financial situation into consideration. I have also boarded my cats a few times, and the staff took great care of them, and when I returned to pick them up, it was like my cats had taken a vacation. The staff would tell me how much they enjoyed caring for my cats while I was away and I have never worried about their wellbeing or safety while in the hands of the staff. I am now on my third cat now that my other two have passed away. The staff was very compassionate and kind when my two passed away and sent me personalized cards offering their condolences. The staff is simply amazing; I cannot express that enough. I cant see ever taking my current or future babies anywhere else. I trust their judgment 100%. Thank you so much, East Orange Animal Hospital, for helping me properly care for my babies.

I have been going to East Orange Animal Hospital for the last 15 years so I can honestly say this is a place where they treat you like family. Everyone knows your pets and stops to say hello. If you need an appointment on short notice, they work their magic to make it happen. I have never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes in the waiting room to see someone and even that long is an anomaly. The office staff is as friendly as can be and they really want to make sure your visit is perfect. If you are looking for an indication of how much this place cares, look no further than the amount of time their staff has been there. They have some newer techs and office staff but a large portion of the staff has been there for 10+ years. In addition to the typical domestic pets people would take to a vet, they have a vet that works with reptiles and turtles which is harder to find than you would think. They have helped me with the joys of new pets all the way to the tragedy of lost pets but they have done so with the utmost respect and care. Overall, I love this place and do not see myself going anywhere else.

I personally like this Animal Hospital, over all the other Hospitals I have gone to over the years of owning animals. Dr Perrault is incredibly charming and always interested in helping in whatever way he can. I can tell he truly loves animals. My puppy has Cerebellar Hypoplasia and Dr. Perrault helped a lot with aiding with difficulties training her and making sure shes comfortable. He also helped with an eye problem she had with constant discharge making her face wet and stinky. I paid 100 for everything in a visit, which included boosters, stool check, flea/heartworm/tick medicine, powder to help reduce eye leaking and also having her nails trimmed. He informed me to get a kennel for her as dogs like being in small areas, giving her her own space that no one else has made her really happy. He also told me how to potty train her and different methods. As well as informing me that I should choose training pads or outside for now to not confuse her or make it harder for her so that definitely helped. I had no problem with this clinic as of yet and I am more than happy with them.

We moved from Virginia in 1990 and our 15 year old dog Prince had heartworms, and this vet suggested we proceed with the treatment. In the end we spent well over what we could afford, and our dog ended up more sick because he couldnt handle the treatment, blind, and we in the end had to put him down. Money not being the issue, but the idea that our old dog had to suffer before death. (Parents Experience) Many many years later we go in with another dog who sprained his ankle, and after a few hours, a crude over sized looking spoon was placed under his paw and leg and wrapped around with a weak looking gauze which was supposed to last apparently 6 weeks. It was difficult for the dog to walk, even with a sock on his paw which was changed several times a day, it still got dirty, scratched everything in the house, and worse made it very difficult for the dog, the gauze would get loose, the spoon would move and occasionally get caught under his paw pads and cause him pain. (My Experience) For that experience I was astounded with how little was done and how much was spent.

I was SO happy finding this office! Ive taken my pets to a few sub-par vets in Orlando and could not be more pleased with the service there. Dr. Jackson was completely competent and professional and it seemed like the first vet visit where I wasnt having to ask the vet to examine further or doubted their diagnostic. They did not try to rack up my vet bill and only did what they thought necessary, as well as outlined my bill for me. They called to check on my baby a few days later and when I had an emergency were able to see me just 3 hours after I had called. After trying so many different vets, I would highly recommend going here. They were so well-informed and honest which is not what I had come to expect from vet offices. Very happy going there!

I brought my cat there, waited over an hour in the waiting room while my cat peed on my twice because of his chronic urinary condition that they were aware of ahead of time.He was there for them to take a urine sample and once they finally brought me back, doctor rushed in as I tried to give him the background of my cat-completely upset the cat even more-couldnt do a urine sample b/c my cat had no more left and told me to come back to spend more money to try again. I asked for if they could comp or atleast take 1/2 off and they still charged me for NOTHING, but all they did was upset my cat more and waste my time and tell me to come back to waste more time. I hope they dont treat all of their first time visitors like this. Ill never go back.

I have brought my dog here for nearly two years. I will never leave this practice, they are the best! Fair pricing and I truly trust them with my pet. We have seen different veterinarians and they were all caring, knowledgable, and took their time to keep me informed during the exam. I have taken my dog here for yearly exams, vaccinations, parasite testing, and boarding (several times a year, consistently great care). I also purchase flea/heartworm preventatives from them. When I tried to buy it through 1-800-Petmeds they actually reached out to me and let me know their price is cheaper. I was so happy! I am always pleased with the quality of service and friendliness of everyone who works at East Orange Animal Hospital. Love them!!
