I was admitted to Florida Hospital-Celebration Health via the ER, via an ambulance, and while in a coma. The hospitals administrative resulted in coding my ER admission as a scheduled INPATIENT visit. And the billing ... well lets just say that 4 months later... my invoices are all unpaid because of the hospitals administrative error which gave my insurance the free pass to reject my claim. UHC stands behind a clause in my policy stating that only hospital treatment at my employer-hospital is covered. Sure if its a scheduled treatment, this was an ER trauma that resulted in an admission into the Inpatient hospital. End result: my insurance accuses me of insurance fraud and Im stuck with a $30,000 bill and no one will help resolve it. WAY TO GO CELEBRATION HEALTH and UNITED HEALTHCARE. oh yea, they never found out what happened to me and the only treatment I received was an IV laxative that ... funny as it is... caused an IV infection that ... even funnier... the IV infection caused high fevers that constipated me for days! American healthcare and insurance at its best! Oh yea, Im still having seizures ... but hell if Im going to a hospital again. Id rather die outside their doors and let them drool over the lost revenue!

I had to go to the emergency room at Oceanside and this was the worst hospital experience I have ever had. 1 Emergency room doctor was a female looked to be about 25 years old. She and the other nurses were talking about what was on sale at Marshalls and commenting on each others shoes and their own health and was not paying any attention to their patients. The doctor said she needed music and turned on the radio and sat at her desk. I went in for strep throat and they took a rapid strep test and left me sitting in the room for 4 hours. Then came back and told me that it was sent out to the lab for a culture screening and that they would call me if I needed any medication. It is day 3 on I have not heard a word from this hospital. I had been dealing with this virus for 10 days now and they told me that it will go away on its own! What ? Left the hospital with nothing but bad service, ignorant ass nurses and doctor and a ridicouls high bill. Never again.

Worst hospital ever! On vacation in Florida for one week, had to rush to their er for some problems I was having. As I sat in the waiting room, they completely ignored my boyfriend when he tried to get me something so I wouldnt get sick on their floor. As I was being seen the doctor treated me as a junkie when he found it hard to believe My truth that I have never done drugs or drank through his questioning. They stuck me in an ice cold room that was unbearable , shot me up with a medicine that burnt my entire body with no warning as to what it would do. Then about a half an hour later discharged me with giving me an answer of " Oh, I believe it was just a headache." No tests, no information or anything to help once I left. Just a simple headache... I have never had such an ignorant and unprofessional experience by any doctor In My entire life. My 2 year old could have treated my case better!

Rudely treated upon arrival at emergency entrance. Only had one Doctor on duty late at night. Pregnancy arrived prior to us and understandably took priority, but we were the only ones here other than that and had to wait quite a while in severe abdominal pain before anyone looked into what was wrong with my fiancee. She could of had a heart attack and I guess she would have had to wait. Emergency room may be a misnomer. In all fairness the nurse and Doctor did treat us a little nicer after a while. I do wonder what they would have done if they had a half dozen or so people come in at once. I feel like one emergency physician on duty is inadequate. What would they do if they had two emergency pregnancy cases come in within 5 minutes of each other? I can only hope this is not their standard operating procedure. We can not recommend the facility, if it is.

Thank you to Nurse Travis and Dr. Lovett for taking such amazing care of our 9 year old daughter. When we walked in to the waiting room she was scared. When we saw Nurse Travis, our daughter was calmed down by his cheerful mannerism and simple instructions. Dr. Lovett was fantastic. He spoke to our daughter like an adult, yet was able to explain the steps in a clear and concise way that put her at ease. He explained to our daughter what was going to happen, and made sure she was comfortable. Afterwards, he went above and beyond by bringing printouts of the process of stitches to our daughter. Thank you to the team at Florida Hospital Oceanside.

I would never go there, unless my life depended on it. They caused me to have a seizure. They took my meds and said they would give me theirs, but their pharmacy close. Plus when I was transferred to ORMC in Ormond Beach it took more than six hours, and tey would not allow me to transfer myself. By the time I had to take my meds I had that seizure. When my drivers license was suspended, they claimed no responsibility. Plus would not pay for any taxiing or bussing around town. I had to walk and had to beg for rides from others. Imagine what would happen for a pregancy. If you are epileptic dont risk your life with them.

The staff was very efficient. We were in the waiting area about 5-10 minutes. Once brought back we waited about 3 minutes before a nurse was there to take down all issues & vitals. The dr was in shortly after that & made my 7yr old very comfortable talking to her about his daughter. Less than 5 min after he left the lady who does insurance was back to get my information & was sweet & fast. We were there for a total of about a Hr! Hopefully we wont be back anytime soon, but for our little hospital they did a amazing job
