Stay away from Brookdale. Instead of having round tables for residents to eat together, there are tables where lonely residents sit by themselves. Sad. Blood pressure can be high and the nurses do not follow up with doctors or additional blood pressure readings. Nurses do not question unnecessary medications on the chart that should have been discontinued. Linoleum in room and bathroom rolling up and maintenance does nothing after complaining. Resident with a dog that is chewing all of its hair off and they do nothing about the poor animal. Elevators have stopped and kept residents for 2 hours stuck. 300 residents have long waiting time for 2 small elevators for 12 floors. Air conditioners have problems with cooling the resident rooms and common areas along with hot elevators. Meals are not homemade and are processed junk from US Food group. Minimum activities to keep the residents happy such as outings outside the facility. Boredom for the residents. Better facilities with more attentive care elsewhere. Good luck!

Nice location, Beautiful surroundings. However the staff needs help. Dont expect them to respond right away. The are in need of continued education On many levels. Please dont get me completely wrong. Theres a hand few staff members that are nice. Especially in the PT department. Today I was shocked to see how unpleasant some of these caregivers were. I witnessed one caregiver tell another aide that she needed to watch her client as she was bumping in to people and the pole. The response to this young lady was with so much attitude. This tells me two things.. Theyre people who genuinely care about what they do and some are there to have a job. I wish i knew this young ladys name. This place isnt bad. I believe they need more customer service training and continued education.

Unprofessional, poor management, never returns calls, housekeeping and laundry is a mess, elevators always getting stuck with residents trapped on them.
