From the moment I broke my tooth. Dr. Drew was so compassionate. I sent him a message, on facebook, at 10:30 at night. I thought I would hear back the next day with a number to call. But , to my surprise, I immediately received a reply. He was amazing. He said he was sorry I broke a tooth and wanted to make sure I wasnt in any pain.. I know that is sounds crazy but I was blown away a doctor took the time to be concerned about a person that wasnt even an established patient. I then told him that I was in no pain. He said to call his office in morning to schedule a visit. The next day I called and the staff was amazing as well. The next day I was off Dr. Drew was double booked. So I got an appointment for my next day off. The staff was apologetic and concerned. They even said if there are any cancelation we will fit you in. I had an appointment for a Tuesday. Dr. Drew sent me on facebook stating he noticed my appointment was scheduled for Tuesday and had an availability on monday. I was blown away that he even knew when my appointment was. Most doctors dont care or know who is coming in and out from minute to minute. I then went to give Dr. Drew a visit. I was very scared I would break the bank since I am insurance -less. But Dr. Drew gave me options and I wasnt forced to fork out a ton of money. It was truly a guilt free visit too. I also felt no pain when my filling was removed and replaced. Dr. Drew is not just one of the nicest dentists I have met but one of the nicest people in general. I am very happy I found Dr. Drew early in his career because after going to see him I dont think I could ever find a dentist that is half of the person he is. I also will never let a friend or family member go to any other dentist. I am a costumer for life. Thanks Dr. Drew

After getting a couple fillings this morning from Dr. Byrnes I exclaimed that his procedure was much more pleasant than the drive on I-4 from Windermere to get to him! There are many dentists between here and Windermere, but the reason I go to Dr. Byrnes is trust. I had a bad experience at a dentist a few years ago which I was told I needed 8 fillings after never having a cavity in my life. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and the first dentist was trying to fleece me. She was going to drill holes into my then perfect teeth for no reason and cost me a lot of money! Hence why I go to Dr. Byrnes, he tells you what he needs to do and he gives you reasonable options. I thought I had at least 5 cavities based off of what google images said a cavity was, he said Im going to have a good day because I only had two. His prices are in line with what the standard costs of common dental procedures are and his service is excellent. Hes an easygoing and often humorous individual who will make you feel comfortable, and seems to try his best to mitigate pain. I didnt feel any pain during my procedure, somehow I didnt even feel the novocaine needles enter my gums. I cant forget to mention that he has amazing staff as well. I cant remember ll the names, but the woman who gave me a cleaning during my first visit was very kind and walked me through everything I should be doing hygiene wise afterwards. Then today, a month after that appointment the receptionist addressed me by name the moment I walked in the door. It wasnt like I was the only person there so I was impressed. I give Dr. Byrnes and his staff 5 stars based on his professionalism, expertise, affordability, and trustworthiness.

As someone who has struggled with dentists their entire life, Ive never been more pleased with my experience. Throughout my entire visit to Dr. Byrnes office, I was blown away by the the friendliness of the staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. As a first-time patient, Dr. Byrnes took the time to listen and understand my history and each of my concerns. During the exam, he was very thorough in explaining each step of the process and sharing his thoughts so I could understand exactly what he was doing. It was immediately obvious that I was in good hands with a knowledgeable and caring professional. It was also fitting that Dr. Byrnes followed suit with the rest of his staff as his friendliness shined throughout the appointment. Having switched dentists multiple times over the past few years, I never felt a hint of the usual anxiety or nervousness that typically accompanies my dentist visits—perhaps the biggest takeaway from the appointment. I would recommend Dr. Byrnes to anyone and everyone who is looking for a friendly, caring and, most importantly, competent dentist.

UPDATE: I have now had 3 fillings and 2 sessions of deep cleaning...I stand by everything I said in my first review. Dr. Byrnes and his entire staff are awesome! I no longer lay awake worrying the night before an appointment because I know theyll do everything possible to make me comfortable and the experience painless. Thanks to the whole gang!! ORIGINAL: Dr. Byrnes is wonderful! While other dentists have ignored or dismissed my paralyzing fear of the chair, he acknowledged it immediately and offered suggestions about how to make me more comfortable (including gas). He also explained his general approach and each of his recommendations in detail. Dr. Byrnes is friendly, approachable, and obviously very competent. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to schedule an exam within a few days, even as a new patient. Everything about this experience gives me confidence that Ill leave another rave after my first filling in a few weeks. (Normally, just typing the word "filling" would make me cry. Seriously.)

I just moved into the Winter Park area and have been taking care of many moving fiascos that come along with settling down into a new home. Changing addresses with everything from the bank to the power companies is such an ordeal, heck its like pulling teeth (hah pun intended)! But I must say when I went to switch over dentists, it was a breeze. Dr. Drews Dentistry had my dental history and scans switched over from my previous dentist with minimal effort on my end which was greatly appreciated and saved me the hassle and money of getting new ones! The convenience of the location was what drew me in at first but the polite staff, warm atmosphere, and great price were definitely a plus. Im highly critical of dentists and had plenty of experience with them as a child. Ive had over ten fillings, two crowns, and pretty much every tooth op you can get, short of a root canal, so trust me when I say Dr. Drew has skills. Hes everything you want in a dentist, Id definitely stop in for a cleaning next time you stroll down park ave.

They welcomed me like family. After my previous dentist up and vanished (with my dental record), someone recommended Dr. Byrnes to me. At my first appointment, Bre not only remembered our phone call, she had actively tried to track down my records for me. Unfortunately, no luck there, so I had to take all new x-rays (which can be a chore). Catherine was super patient with me, and did everything she could to make me comfortable. Then I met the dentist. Dr. Byrnes came in so calmly, I felt like I was just getting to know a friend. He took the time to get to know me, and I got to know him, too. He was so professional and courteous I knew I could trust him right away. During my introductory exam, he was very thorough and even pointed out some concerns that no other dentist had even bothered to check. Lastly, Sarah Jane gave me a great cleaning, along with some sage wisdom. All in all, this was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I would recommend Dr. Byrnes to anyone, even my own mother.
