Cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kirkland. He knows dentistry and his office seems to have the best equipment. Most of my dealings with Dr. Kirkland are after a routine cleaning, and I can say I have had wonderful experiences for about 15 years now by the hygiene staff. As to the dentistry, the previous dentist chose a fine dentist to carry on the practice, and I have been real pleased. One story that illustrates this - I had a dental emergency over the Christmas holidays a while back, when I broke a tooth roughly in half when I bit down on a pecan shell that was in a piece of fruitcake (it looked like nearly half the tooth was missing), and Dr. Kirkland made time for me although the office was closed for Christmas. He and a sweet assistant met me at the office during the holidays and after hours did damage control on the tooth and fitted me with a temporary crown and then his wonderful staff scheduled me for the permanent one later on after the new year, and I have not had a problem with it ever since. Now that is service!

replacement for dr.bosewell, just out of dental school a couple years ago when he was taking over. i paid premium prices for crowns, over $1,000 dollars for each, plus my crowns are still sensitive and the gums around them bleed and are exposed with the metal of the porceline cap. dr. kirkland is an okay dentist for his experience level, but at these prices, i should have no problems at all. the staff is abit rude, and it had to be the worst cleaning i have ever gotten. I could have done better at home. Dr. Kirkland has a hard time with the left side of patients mouths, he seems abit perturbed sometimes. looking for new dentist.
