The worst customer service ever!!! I guess, It was my fault for not listening to everyones bad experience with this office. After showing up 15 minutes early to my appointment I still waited 55 minutes before they called my name. The whole test took almost an hr. (with an assistant tech) and when finally the doctor came in, she only reviewed my file and talked to me for less than 5 minutes. Once I was given my PX I couldnt pick a frame since I was already late to pick my kids up from school. An employee by the name Mary, wrote down the style of the frame I liked. When I returned 2 days later I found out that my frame was sold and Ms. Mary couldnt find the style number that she had written 2 days earlier. In no moment she attempted to sell me anything else. Well, I went to Costco a got myself a frame. However, 4 months later I went to Walmart Optical to buy my contacts so the staff went ahead and called the offices of the Thomas Eye Group to obtain a copy of my px. Well, it never happened. After 45 minutes waiting for a fax and 9 calls from the Optical staff at Walmart (including a Manager!) and myself to the Thomas Eye office, I still drove myself there to get the copy...They have the audacity to tell me that they were just too busy to fax me the copy and there was only 1 person in the office that handles all faxes???? What???? They were nasty, rude and unapologetic..Please stay away from this place.

Absolutely awful for infants! Just got off my phone with my pediatrician telling them the situation. We came here on their referral to check a blocked tear duct. After waiting 40 minutes with no explanation (we showed up 15 minutes early) they called us back. We then saw a nurse who asked us basic questions and mentioned eye dialation to which we said no as he had no sight issues and we were just there to discuss the tear duct. Fast forward five minutes and we are back to the waiting room for another 20 minutes! We were called back and waited another ten to see the doctor (Dr Salit) She proceeded to tell me they needed to dialate because he looked nearsighted (huh?) we agreed. As they are putting in the drops they say oh it will be another thirty minutes WHAT??? My husband and I both jumped up at the same time reminding them that our son is 9 months old. The lady was actually a little defensive and said well it always takes two hours. Again wrong, it takes two hours if you factor in the insane waiting for no reason - honestly it should only take an hour at most even if we did the dialation. We are seeing another doctor. This location has no empathy for those with small children. Please consider this when visiting. The fill in receptionist was great and we were not charged but the waiting is just completely unwarranted.

I just went through 4 days of hell with the billing department at Thomas Eye, who addressed my daughters bill to an emergency contact on her account. Somehow, because of their mistake, I never received a bill and my emergency contact and 4 yr old daughter ended up in collections. My 1st bill and collection notice arrived together in the mail together 3 months after her appointment. I had to speak to 5 different people, explaining this ridiculous story that they created!!! I had to notify HIPPA and spoke to 2 people there who could not resolve this issue. Finally, I just paid my bill and was assured that the collection issue would go away. After some other issues I have had with this group, this is the final straw. I had already removed the rest of my family from this practice, but I kept my daughter there because she has special needs and they have a pediatric ophthalmologist. But there are other doctors out there. My time is too important for me to just waste it away correcting their stupid mistakes. They are just a big box business who are irresponsible, incompetent and impersonal. If you want to be just another dollar in someones pocket and you have hours of time to waste, go there.

My 7 year-old son was diagnosed for conjunctivitis at initial visit w/ Dr. Brown (O.D.) and was prescribed a very expensive antibiotic eye drops. After a week of use, steroid eye drops were added to the prescription because redness in his eye wasnt going away. After another week of antibiotic and steroid use, I found something unusual under my sons eyelid and took him back to Dr. Brown. She had no clue and referred my son to ophthalmologist in the office. By then, I couldnt trust the office and took him to another ophthalmologist for a second opinion. It turned out that my son had a stye, and all he needed was hot compress. The other Dr. also told me that the steroid eye drop that Dr. Brown prescribed should not be used at his age, and it made his condition worse. Now, my son might need a surgery because of her misdiagnosis and misuse of the medication. What really bothers me is I specifically mentioned at the initial visit about my sons previous history for a stye. I will stay away from an eye doctor who does not even recognize a stye and prescribe over-priced medications. Not to mention 2 hours of unexplained, inconsiderate wait.

Ann Walker is a pathetic Orthoptist, please do not see her. She does not know how to talk when kids are around. She used words like "if your kid does not get a eye surgery she is not going to die" my wife and daughter are so upset because of this. All she does is canvass for a surgery, we were told to book an appointment with her to go over some eye exercises but instead it was a session to advertise about a surgery which is only cosmetic. Please dont see her.

I missed this office a few times trying to find it, but it was a great visit once I got in. The check in computers were high tech and the office staff was pleasant. Dr. Glenda Brown was incredible! Sweet personality and obviously very experienced. Im planning to bring my kids this summer. They have a whole area of the office dedicated to kids. Im very happy that I came here for my eye exam.

I called Thomas Eye Group after my son accidentally injured his eye. Even though he was a new patient, they worked me in the same day and were genuinely concerned for my son and making sure he was seen promptly. We saw Dr. Brown who was wonderful with my 3 yo son!!! She spent tons of time with us assessing his eye injury and helping calm him down. I would highly recommend her!

Check in is easy; and I was called back within a few minutes of my appointment time. The techs/nurses I met with first explained everything and did a thorough job; Dr. Glenda Brown was marvelous. Really worked with me to adjust my contacts so that I could see better up close, but maintain my distance vision.

In short, when they found out we had insurance and it would cover the lenses and frames at 100% for our daughter, they decided they do not take our insurance plan (Humana), even though their website says they do and they accepted the same insurance for her exam a few minutes before recommending glasses.
