If I could give this clinic no stars I would. Do not go here, do not risk your health or your body. I have been there twice & both times were a nightmare. I went for my Pap to renew my BC. I had to switch to this DR. for health insurance reasons. Dr. Marin preformed this both times. on her profile online on Advocate it was stated she had over 20 years experience & specialized in womans health. The first Pap, I tried to inform her I was not sexually active for over a year, did not care. forced the speculum in, no lubricant & I bled for days, I was in tears it hurt so much. Whatever, at least I got it over with. WRONG! the sample was insufficient! I had to take this AGAIN! but they never notified me of this, I had to call them almost 2 weeks later to find out myself that I needed to re take this test. Why would you not call the patient?! Never mind the fact that I needed my BC pills & she scared the life out of me after making me pour blood saying "this is not normal, good thing you came in today! you are very sore!"... This is terrible... But I need this done, so, they wave the copay & I go in again. I watch her spill the sample cup before we even get started, she actually checked it to see if we could still use it! she got a new cup & again put away the lubricant & shoved it in me twisting it about despite the fact I told her again it has been over a year. Again I was in tears. she assured me that this time she took a good sample. it has been over a week now & I still have not been notified. I called them & they said they will have to call me back & that the charts say I have been notified my results... I have heard nothing from them & this is absured. Who did they release my info too? They also set me up an online profile, but I have no access to this as I never set this up. my results are just sent there for me to never see. This is borderline malpractice. I will never go here again & will be finding a new dr & clinic. I have half a mind to report you all. UPDATE: I have been able to figure out how to log onto my portal account thanks to the password & username recovery options. MY RESULTS ARE NOT EVEN ON THE PORTAL! I have no idea who they released this information to, but if I do not get a call back with a sincere apology & an explanation of where my results actually are & were sent to, I will be reporting you to Advocate & any other legal entity I can. You do not mess around with someones health. Update: I still have not been told the results of my tests despite me calling them. I was told it would be made top priority & I would get them on Friday. Today is friday & I have been told nothing. I have started to file a claim with the insurance provider & will escalate it from there. I never received any sort of apology for any of this. You are handling peoples bodies & health, this should never happen. Final Update: I am proceeding with the claim, but after phone tag, I was given my lab results. I was apologized to by the nurse on the phone at the very least. I lied, this HOPEFULLY is my final update. I tried to reach out the the manager of this clinic & left her a voicemail but it has been a week & she too has not returned my calls. It is clear to me this is not a good clinic & I will also take this to the BBB. But now, the lab they used is sending me a bill for both tests. & I cannot believe after all the pain & aggravation they have caused that they will not cover this just to get me to even go away at this point. I was ok with loosing the first copay, but now I will be escalating the claim to be reimbursed for all of it. Never even an apology or reaching out to try to repair any damages, but I guess they see that as "admitting fault". Very sad, please, I am begging you to not risk this clinic

We went to see Rosalind Downing for my son. He had the sniffles and a cough, and the last couple of times he had that it developed into Pneumonia...so I decided to take him in before it developed that far. Im glad I did because Dr. Downing seemed very concerned and explained to me in great detail about what can happen with a young childs airways when he is sick. She answered all of my questions and concerns with no problem at all. We will be going back to this clinic simple because of her. However, the clinic itself I thought it was just mediocre. I first walk in and it smelled of "ethnic" food of some sort...for a second I thought I was walking into a restaurant by accident, not sure if a doctors office is supposed to smell like that. The front desk staffed seemed distracted, and were very busy. Fortunately I got helped right away, but the lady who helped me was exactly friendly..but she wasnt rude either. She just seemed like a robot. When we got called in by the nurse/medical assistant, she was kind of annoying. She seemed like she was in a hurry, when I was trying to explain what was wrong with my son she kept interrupting me and then would end up asking me the very same question I had just answered the minute before (ex. I had to tell her 3 times when my son had pneumonia). When Dr. Downing ordered albuterol for my son, she came in with a tube instead of the mask. I asked if they had a mask but they were out of the mask. She also didnt even offer to help me administer the treatment for my son. Needless to say we wasted a treatment of albuterol. He fought me and wouldnt keep the tube in his mouth. On my way out of check out I notice the ladies at the desk whispering to each other, they didnt even acknowledge that I was standing right there ready to check-out. I had to ask them if I was ready to go. Once I was acknowledged, they were helpful. Im just not sure I like the staff being so distracted when patients are around. They all seemed they would rather chit chat with each other rather than work and attend to patients. Updated: Im changing doctors! never going back to this clinic ever again. The staff is rude, and they dont know how to manage appointments. I had an appointment today for 9:30am, not only did they not have my appointment in their system..the doctor wasnt even this morning. They rudely told me, "she is probably just running late. Its only 9:38am." How do you tell a patient that? I have other things going on in my life as well than to just wait for a doctor who decides she wants to mosey on into the office whenever she feels like it. Rude, unprofessional, and crappy service.

I wanted to update my post as I made the unfortunate decision to stay at the doctors office out of convenience. It would be in your interest not to give this doctors office a try. Doctor waiting times are up to an hour long. Nurses do not return phone call in a timely manner or at appropriate times (9pm),do not answer questions, and are extremely rude. The administrator is beyond unprofessional. This past week my family of 6 has decided enough is enough. I need the blood test results to relay to other physicians. To be more specific the primary focus was obtain a BUN and Creatinine result as the physician asked me to consult the urologist as to why she did not want to perform a procedure. This should be the nurses job. I tried returning the phone call several times on a Saturday to only be told yes she will call you back, and placed on hold for ten minutes each time until the line was disconnected. Almost 4 hours of trying to speak to a nurse to obtain results and then the lines were shut off. I sent an email to the physician and called the administrator. Monday evening I begin calling again. Same process. Recieved call finally back at 9 and asked for the results. I was told they are okay. I said " No, I need to know these for appointments." I was told repeadetly the results were released and I can see them. No matter how many times I said they are not there, why can you not tell me, the nurse would not tell me the specific values. I was told come in the am and they will print it for me- thats an extra trip I could not make. Ms. Patel (administrator) finally called back only to argue repeadetly the same info as the nurse did before. I said the same thing and asked why is it so hard to tell me them, they are not posted. Ms. Patel talked over me and would not listen to me. My fiance took my phone and strongly informed here they were not there to stop arguing and just tell us the results. After nearly 15 minutes of arguing, she logged into my account to see where the labs were. Alas! They were not there! Did she apologize? No. Did she apologize for the way staff spoke to me on numerous other phone calls and would not look into the matter? No. Did she still proceed to tell me the results? No. She put in a ticket. She called back promising they would be posted in am. They were not. She called again, I gave her my password again. An entire week later we found out the blood results, which the levels were abnormal for my family member. They should be charged with Delay of treatment due to with holding of information and misleading. Still waiting for my apology, finding a new practice.
