Back in the fall of 2016, I had spent Saturday day hiking with my medical service dog, Twinkle. When we got home, she began vomiting a white foamy stuff. After a little while of this, I called APEC and was advised to either bring her in or crate her for the evening. I drove to Evansville so should could be seen all the while thinking she mustve gotten into something on the trail. I was completely shocked when the veterinarian said she had a flipped stomach a/k/a gastric torsion/bloat. She was going to need immediate surgery. Depending on how long the blood supply was cut off to her stomach, she could possibly not recover. I was extremely upset. Luckily, the surgery went well and today she is a healthy, happy dog. The staff at APEC were very understanding, explained everything up front and what my two surgical options for her were. Since my husband was out of town, I was able to get him on the phone to make the deposit and final payment when I picked her up. On Sunday morning following the surgery, the staff allowed me to stop in and visit with Twinkle for a short time before picking her up Monday morning. While the surgery itself was expensive, I felt the cost was inline for an emergency visit and surgery early on Sunday morning. Everyone there was super understanding and compassionate regarding the situation. I cant thank them enough for everything they did for Twinkle.

While traveling back to Wisconsin after the holidays our chocolate Lab collapsed and was in respiratory distress. Upon arrival he was promptly seen by Dr. Wagner and staff to stabilize and determine what was happening. We were constantly updated and the care my dog received was exceptional. Despite their best efforts our dog died from congestive heart failure. While there was nothing that Dr. Wagner or his staff could do to save him, they made a very heartbreaking experience less painful due to the wonderful way they treated not only our pet but the entire family. NOT ONCE did we ever feel they were about the money, in fact I was very surprised at how very reasonable the bill was given all the time, effort and testing that was done. Add to that, today I received a sympathy card from APEC signed by Dr. Wagner. We only met once, but they made an impression that will last forever. Evansville is lucky to have a clinic and staff like APEC!!

I brought my cat in last night 3/13/16, she had been vomiting for a few days and couldnt pass any stool. Before I took her in I knew she was very sick but she was still purring and would curl up in your lap and even hop up on a chair. The staff was very kind and helpful but....they gave my cat an enema, some anti-nausea medication, and some fluids under her skin because she was dehydrated. When they brought my cat back out to me she was limp and her head was just hanging to the side.... the nurse said that it was fine. I paid the outrageous price of $476.00 and started to head home with my Miss.Button......she died in my husbands lap not even thirty minutes later. I feel like they gave her too much for her body to deal with at once and of course I didnt question it before hand because I figured that she was in great care.....so I will never recommend them to anyone!! I paid $476.00 for them to kill my cat :(

Payed 546.00 Dollars for them to put my dog under anesthesia only clean her tail after she got the tip cut off in the screen door. After taking my dog to her regular vet I found out that all they did was clean her tail and left the bone exposed . He scrubbed her wound and dressed it while she was awake . Now she has to have surgery to graph skin over the bone. ALL this could have been done while she was under anesthesia the first time. By the way it 200.00 for the anesthesia. Im just thankful that they arent allowed to work on humans. THIS PLACE IS FULL OF CROOKS WHO PREY ON PEOPLES EMOTIONS! I want half my money back to pay for the surgery that has to be performed by another vet.

Monday evening, July 24th, we brought our 12 year old “handsome boy” GABBER in to see you as he was not well – not well at all. From the moment we entered you BEAUTIFUL and QUITE CLEAN facility, all of us (my husband and I along with GABBER) were treated with professionalism, concern, and respect! You nailed the diagnosis and the next morning, GABBER was beginning to return to his “talkative” self! Your staff was extremely busy that night yet took the time to keep us informed on his diagnosis, progress, as well as going over any and all fees with us in detail. THANK YOU for all that you do for the rest of us and our beloved pets!

we brought our dog in there on sat and on Wed he was dead. the doctor told us he was ok. they dont care about the animals they only care about the money. this place sucks. You could clearly tell that my dog was sick. He had lost a bunch of weight in just a week he was having labored breathing vomiting couldnt go to the bathroom. They could of saved him but they wanted all the money first instead of offering payment plan. we gave them over 200 dollars just for her to tell us he was okay. She needs to find a new career cause she is not an animal lover she is a money lover.

Trying to get my dog in and was told it would be at least two hours bc the doctor was in surgery. I asked if an x Ray could be performed and my animal assessed by a tech, they said they dont make those decisions without a doctor. I asked what happens if there are two emergencies at once and was told theyd call another doctor in if they had to,but honeSTLY if a tech cant assess, how will they know if my animals conditions constitutes "emergency" enough to call someone else in? Receptionist was terribly unhelpful and ride.

When the time came to put my little Libbie down, of course it was on a Sunday. She could not wait for her vet the next day. The staff was upfront about the cost and gave us options about either being with her or not. We stayed and it was quick and she found peace. The caring staff prepared her for us to take her home and bury, our choice. They were good to us and if necessary we will go back.

The All Pet Emergency staff was helpful and attentive when treating our dog (Olive) and our cat (Malcolm) on two separate occasions. They were also very clear and upfront about pricing and procedures - giving us a variety of options for treatment. Both pets are happy and healthy today thanks to the amazing staff at All Pet Emergency!

Oddly enough, I had an almost identical experience to Jackie Spurling, though this took place a few years ago. We took my dog in because he was vomiting up blood. They told us it was just a cold & to give him Robitussin. He died the next morning at a different vets office right after they told us hed gotten into rat poison.

We had to put our Chocolate Lab to sleep on Sunday 2/7/16..They were so kind. I was worried, as we had never been there before. The staff was AMAZING and the vet,..I believe he said his name was Dr. Wagoner, was so nice. I hated why we were there..BUT thankful they were there for us! I will 100% recommend their services!
