I wholeheartedly regret taking my beloved cat to this "Cat Clinic". The people at this clinic could not have been more cold-hearted and uncaring about me or my poor now-dead cat. I took my cat on 2/5/10 b/c he had severe bloody diarrhea. I was told he needed to have his teeth cleaned and his prognosis with the diarrhea was "good". I took him in a week later, as he was still having severe diarrhea, and but they insisted that his teeth needed to be cleaned, so I left him for about an hour and was told the cleaning would cost around $130. When I picked him up an hour later, I had a $660 vet bill because they said that he needed to have 2 teeth pulled. This was done without my knowledge or consent. I was also told I had to change him over to another special food for his "IBS". 2 weeks later his severe diarrhea never cleared up and I took him back again to get subcu fluids b/c he was dehydrated. I called them the next week, upset because he was still so sick, and the office staff hung up on me apparently because I dared to complain about the way my cat was being treated. Finally, I took my cat to a different vet in Carmel. This other Good Vet did a diagnostic x-ray and within a few minutes said he had cancer spread throughout his abdomen. They even sent the x-rays to a Radiologist to confirm it. Unfortunately, it was too late for surgery or chemo or even a scope because the cancer had progressed so far... My cat died on 4/5/10 after going to the Cat Care Clinic 3 times in February and never being properly diagnosed. The holes in his mouth from where Dr. Howell of the Cat Care clinic extracted his teeth never even healed by the time my cat died of the Cancer that Dr. Howell was completely oblivious of. I thought it was unethical to do unnecessary surgery on dying animals, but I guess Dr. Howell doesnt care about that. I spent over $1000 in trying to take care of my cat at this so-called "Cat Care" Clinic, and more importantly wasted over a month when my cat should have been getting GOOD competent treatment. Do not take your cat to this clinic if you care about him. They will not care about you or your cat.

I have been a client of the cat care clinic on and off for the last 20 years. Dr. Howell was the owner of the Cat Care Clinic, and I feel that he was well read and a very capable practitioner. He deservedly retired a couple of years ago and while he ran the Cat Care Clinic I felt that it was the best feline clinic in the city. Since Dr. Moran has taken over as chief of staff at the Cat Care Clinic the organization and patient care has flourished in sundry ways with the help of the excellent team she has built during her tenure. She has brought innovative changes into the practice that have further improved the facility. She has a wonderful bedside manner and carefully gathers information concerning the patients problem in order to appropriately diagnose the complaint. Dr. Boucher is also a valuable asset to the practice. She is kind caring and skilled at her profession as well as having a wiliness to not only to treat her patients but the rare quality of educating her clients with reference to their ailments. Amanda and Andrea are both extremely bright, knowledgeable, skillful veterinary technicians with charming personalities. with great people skills as well as superb technical skills concerning their training. Jaylnne, Lori, Cierra, and April are caring, amiable, competent professionals and make the clinic run smoothly with their expertise in management and administration of client care. The Care Clinic has a dynamic team of people who work together in a cooperative, efficient manner to bring healthcare to feline patients. As an advid cat lover having extensive contact working with felines in a volunteer capacity for approximately 5 years, and as a client I highly recommend that you try this facility for yourself.

I seriously cannot take the disrespect anymore from the receptionist who answers the phone. I have/had been a customer of the CCC for a year after moving here from Florida, and this is by far my least favorite place to call, check in, or inquire about anything to do with my cat. A practice is only as good as its staff; and although I enjoyed that the CCC is only for felines, their receptionist is unaccomodating, condescending, unsympathetic, and just flat out rude. My cat has a lump on his side and I wanted him to be seen; and based off their "on hold tips", this was a condition that needed to be seen immediately. I was going to be late by 20 minutes due to an unforeseen, serious circumstance and she simply responded "okay?" and "he cant be seen today, thats all Im saying". I can no longer take my cat here. If I am not mutually respected then why should I believe my cat to be? After the call I immediately dialed Bridgeview Hospital and the difference in the person who answered the phone made my choice to change my cats care all the while worth it. They are cheaper, have better reviews, and have a better receptionist. If you love your cat and dont want to feel degraded, please take them elsewhere.

Ive been going to Dr. Tim and now his associate for over a decade. I wouldnt go anywhere else. when I was going through a divorce and didnt have a bank account of my own, he just gave me the medicine my sick cat needed. He and his staff were so caring both when I my cat was first diagnosed with cancer in their office and I broke down, and later when I asked them to euthanize his brother who at 17 could no longer function with his renal failure. Both times not only did they treat me and my family in the office with such kindness (and my cats, too), but later I received cards and booklets on how to handle the grieving process. Yes, Ive paid quite a bit for a cat who decided to eat a baby bottle nipple and got in lodged, but I then didnt hesitate last summer when my latest cat snuck out and list a fight with a skunk and required surgery. Im sorry for the loss and frustration others have suffered, but my experience has shown that there is not a more caring, knowledgeable, and professional vet than Dr. Tim and his staff. If only he would take dogs!

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Tim and his staff. I had taken my dear cat, Livia, to him for several years and he helped us through her tumor and her CRF with nothing but kindness. You would be hard pressed to find another vet that answers his own clinic phone on such a regular basis. There was never a time I called him with a question, over the phone and not getting paid, where he didnt extend the courtesy of his time and experience. We also adopted a kitten from his office, Rita Rose, and she arrived in our home a very happy healthy new kitten addition. I will say his is more expensive than most vets in the area however the care he and his staff extend plus the fact he deals only with cats, he is worth it.
