Sets a New Bar for Urgent Care! I dont write reviews. But look..Ive been to other Urgent Care places in the area from time to time and their closest neighbor might as well be shut down. Save yourself the headache with that one. The older one down the street now comes in a distant second to this one, now solidly in 1st place because its open 24 hours! Cmon people! You cant beat that- even the nearby "big hospital" could learn SEVERAL lessons from these folks about how to manage people efficiently and with human care. In Patient First, From "door to doctor" was about 20 minutes. (High Five to Dr. Dave!) It uses technology to efficiently sign you in by self serve tablet. The facility is very very clean. The privacy wall/window is uber-cool. The intake team fills out paper work for you if youre in a bad physical state. No mound of clipboard papers for you to skulk off and tackle. The rooms all face the central nurse and doctors station. So you dont feel isolated from sight or awareness if you feel fragile. Dr. Dave was like the Dr you might see in an episode of "Friends". Very nice, knowledgeable, calming, has well rounded pharma-medical research experience with FDA and cancer patient care and his patient side manner puts many doctors Ive seen to SHAME (even in expensive membership practices). If you arent feeling your normal glamorous self - the Dr doesnt make you feel ashamed of being sick or gross (hint: like its competitor a block away). you get a shoulder pat and an assurance that youll feel better soon. COME ON!! Can they clone this guy and replace about 100 doctors in DC with Dr. Dave clones?? They use technology to give you small paper with summary of your visit right within the patient room! Even IF YOU HAVE A prescription - its in your hand from the Doctor! I cant say enough about this place. Heck, my primary care physician has new competition now. If you ever feel sick or hurt and youre near this place - dont walk-> run, skateboard, Segway whatever you gotta do - get over there, pronto.

My daughter was misdiagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter Disease after the Dr told me the X-ray was normal, but the Radiologist made an assumption based on my childs symptom of knee pain. The Drs exam of where her pain was should have told the Radiologist it wasnt Osgood-Schlatter Disease according to the Orthopedist. Even though the staff was pleasant, the Dr and the X-ray tech that assisted my daughter thought I was crazy when I mentioned she needed to be tested for Lyme Disease. Before I went to Patient First, I was advised by my daughters pediatrician to have tests for Lyme Disease given her symptoms. The X-ray tech was rude to me when my answer to what happened to her knee was she woke up with the swelling. He asked if I lived in bushes when I mentioned the possibility of Lyme disease. After the Dr said my daughters X-rays were negative, he ordered bloodwork for Lyme Disease and said they will have the results back in 3 - 4 days. Upon leaving, I asked what laboratory they use for blood tests and I was told Labcorp. It is now 5 days later and Im being told the results are not in and generally take 5 or more days. I have since taken my daughter back to her Pediatrician and the Orthopedist who are fairly certain she has Lyme Disease. We are having trouble tracking down my daughters results now, Labcorp says she is not a patient there. Every time I call Patient First I get a different answer and the run around. We will never return to this Urgent Care facility.

Do not use this facility or buy anything from them, staff are dishonest and misleading. The lady at reception tells you can use the clinic pharmacy as they have the same prices as CVS & Walgreens , which is completely not true. We visited the clinic on 6/12 for a sprained ankle after XRay the doctor refers us to an orthopaedic doctor and prescribed an ankle boot. A moment later a nurse came in with an ankle boot and started fitting it , when we asked him about its cost he said its covered by insurance, as we were leaving we also asked the ladies at the reception and they said the same thing. 2 days later we found that they charged 267$ for the ankle boot discounted by 115.84$ and nothing to be covered by insurance and leaving us with 151.16$ That is simply outrageous as an ankle boot is sold for 70$ in most retail stores ( including CVS & Walgreens) , and that we were not informed with the price even after we asked the clinic staff about the price and payments more than once. We asked to simply return the boot as it has only been 2 days and they still refused. When we made a complaint, they replied that their front office staff and treatment area staff are not qualified to give any answers regarding billing. So if this is the case, their staff should have been upfront about it and just tell us that they didnt know instead of misleading us.

Went there first thing on a saturday morning with what turned out to be a sinus/ear infection. I arrived as the doors were opening while feeling super crappy. The staff was kind and efficient. There was a very short wait in the very clean facility and the doctor took care of my problem quickly and well. Update: I had to go back because after 10 days of amoxicillin I still didnt feel good. They set me up with an extremely young and awkward (read inexperienced) physician assistant who sent me home with Sudafed. Three days later I found a primary care doctor and it turned out the infection was still going so he really was unhelpful and a waste of time and money. I guess the take away is that this place can be hit or miss.

I went with my boyfriend the other day. i chose this clinic for him to go to because of the good reviews i have read online. as we walked in i noticed how clean and nice it was inside. the waiting area is kept clean and its big. i figured we were going to have to wait a little since there was two other people waiting, however they actually called us up just a few min after signing in. The guy at the front desk was polite and professional. my boyfriend says he liked the provider who saw him as well, he says he was very professional and he overall felt satisfied with his visit. we would highly recommend this office to a friend or family family member.

Really like this location! It is very clean and tidy. The staff was pretty good when checking me in. They were not rude like a lot of the staff in reception at doctors offices can be. They were very quick and I didnt wait too long for the doctor to arrive and speak with me. I was in and out in 40 minutes. I dont like being there longer than an hour so this was everything I could ever ask for! I also thought the doctor I saw (forget his name, but was informed he was a supervisory role for the clinic) was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and courteous. I am considering asking him to be my primary care.

My rating is based on my experience at an administrative level . While the clinical staff gets high marks I will probably never return to this facility solely based on my experience with the front desk which is usually the first person you interact with, "great" way to kick-off a patient experience. The staff was unable to put practical decision making above procedure which truly shows a lack of procedural awareness and or impact. I truly walked away from my experience frustrated and upset. While the clinical staff lives up to "Patient First" the administrative staff did not, in my opinion.
