I wanted to have my 4 wisdom teeth extracted in my late twenties. I did a lot of homework online to find a good dentist in the area since I had heard enough stories about painful exprience of wisdom teeth extraction. Finally I found Dr. Chen. I decided to trust Dr. Chen because he had years of clinical and academic experience in renowed institute in China in the early years of his career and he received good training and recognition after he came to US as well. My experience with Dr. Chen proved that I made the right decision. He is very professional, skilled and patient. He did an exellent job to remove my teeth. It took him about 1 minute to extract each of my upper ones, and about 5 minutes to remove one of my lower ones that was half embedded and had been infected for two weeks. Even for my other fully embedded lower wisdom teeth, it only took less than 10 minutes for him to complete the work. The entire process was quick. I did not have much bleeding afterwards. I took pain killer only on the first day. The healing was quick as well. I would recommend Dr. Chen to anyone.

Great Job DR CHEN!!: My problem started when I had a top front tooth break at the root on a Friday evening. On Saturday I called Union Park Dental and Dr Chen answered the call personally and made arrangements to see me first thing on Monday to extract the broken tooth and put in an implant. To make sure that I was prepared he called in a prescription for antibiotics to kill the infection, which caused the break. On Monday morning Dr Chen pulled the tooth, broken root,and put in the implant in less than an hour without any pain. To top it off, Dr Chen took my old tooth, milled it down and bonded it in between my two other good front teeth to eliminate me walking around with a hole in my smile and also saving me from having to buy and use a flipper. The bonded tooth, which will remain in place for the 5 months needed to heal enough to hold a false tooth, looks and feels great; you cant even tell it was ever removed. If youre looking for a skilled dentist who will think outside the box to accommodate your needs, then Dr Chen is your man. Sincerely, Todd B

In response to the review below: Our office does not recognize Amel Larrabee as a patient in our database. Our office is professional and treat all patients with the highest quality care. Medications are prescribed as deemed necessary following procedures. Wisdom tooth removal is a procedure in which post-operative pain relief is necessary for every patient to reduce discomfort. In the event a patient calls stating they are unable to find relief with the prescription provided, our only response is to schedule the patient with the doctor on the same day for further evaluation. Our reception staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Union Dental has a great reputation in our community and among other dental professionals. Our patients are our #1 priority. We stand behind our team and work with pride.

The worst experience I have ever had. Only provider in area that takes mass health. Walked in with perfect teeth but receeding gums I have controlled gum disease yes but not bad teeth. Dentist said I needed 9 fillimgs on bottom teeth. I scheduled an appt thinking he knew his stuff walked out with 9 fillimgs on roots that were not only shoddy with not enougth smoothing but after seeing my regular dentist I used to use was told this dentist completely screwed me. Never should roots be covered with gum disease it will cause more decay and now more gum recession. Doctor billed 9 fillimgs to get more out of insurance with no concerns for patient long term care. Never again here now paying out of pocket at a real dentist to fix my teeth if they can be saved.

I am extremly afraid of having dental work done! I always go for the gas or seditive, even if its a simple filling. This time around, I couldnt cause Im pregnant and I needed to have a wisdom tooth removed. He was so gentle. Explained everything to me. Made me feel comfortable, and trusting in him which is so important to me! I wont lie, I was still scared until he told me I could leave, but it wasnt at all what I expected. That was my first tooth extraction ever. Although I was in tons of pain afterwards and couldnt take anything, the procedure went very well. Had the tooth out in less than 5 minutes.

Dr. Chen is the best dentist I have ever been to. The last time I visited a dentist was years before and my experience was awful and never had courage to go to a dentist again. But my visit to Dr. Chens office was excellent. Dr. Chen is very professional and is great with his work. I had a crown done and the fitting was perfect. He even helped me save my tooth by not performing root canal. I would highly recommend this dentist.

Be very aware of hidden charges when visiting this practice. If you miss an appointment they will charge you $50. Very underhanded and sneaky if you ask this ex patient. Apparently this information is in some fine print when you become a "new patient". Yet its ok when you show up on time for an appointment and wait a half hour to be seen. Should we be able to charge the practice $25 when this happens?

Dr.Chen is the best dentist I have met. He is very professional, skilled and very nice. I had two wisdom teeth extracted by Dr.Chen. The whole operation was quick and I did not feel pain at all. He also specially treated the wound with his skiiled techniques.My mouth even didnt bleed after the operation. I truly appreciated Dr.Chens good job and highly recommend his practice.

DO NOT RECOMMEND this was worst experience of my life. refused to give me anything for pain even though i had my wisdom teeth removed?? crazy right?! I called them crying and they gave me attitude and did nothing. The agonizing pain was so unbearable i couldnt move and they gave ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR PAIN. i wish i had just kept the tooth in.

I just went to Union Dental today and had my tooth extracted by Dr. CHEN. HE WAS AMAZING to say the least. He was gentle and understanding, at the first sight of pain he immediately stopped. Love love love! The girls at the front desk were super friendly and funny. I am returning to do my filings and will be changing my dentist! Thank you

Never go elsewhere! Dr. Jason Chen is the best dentist Ive ever seen. He is extremely professional, friendly, and caring. He gave me a comprehensive check-up, and analyze the current problem of my teeth. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. I have a awesome experience here and I think Dr. Jason Chen is the great dentist in MA.

To whom it may concern three Saturdays back Dr Chen removed all except 4 of my teeth! One of left upper teeth was Infected very sore!
