Hospice Service Ratings...Bath aide LaAsia was top of the line! She was reliable and did a great job. Shes a five star! The rating of two stars was due to Hospice nursing not being as reliable and because of services being cut back even though Medicare didnt cut back on their daily payments. Thats not right. Our first nurse dropped off the face of the earth. The next nurse was a no show for ten days and counting when I had her removed from our service. Our last hospice nurse was better but didnt keep me informed of important service changes and was a no show/no call the last day of her service. To her credit, she called me three days later, apologized and offered to help if I ever needed her. When we were Evaluated by a nurse practitioner , she said " no worries" mom was good for continued hospice service. A few days later our regular nurse said no, she was wrong, and they were still going to discontinue service but extend it a little longer but cut services in half. They changed our bath aide service from twice to once a week. A week later they decreased services in half again to a bath every other week, while they still received daily full Medicare payments . Switching from hospice to their home healthcare services is also frustrating. There is no communication from hospice to homecare even though they said they would take care of it and make it a "smooth transition". No one was being notified of anything. So...Im on the phone Trying to keep the so called "smooth transition" moving forward. Its Stressful to say the least.... Caring/worrying about my mother is difficult and stressful enough. Hospice made it worse sometimes especially the last month of service. Im stressed and Unhappy with them. Hoping for a low stress "smooth transition" and good services when homecare starts their care with us....Im wore out and

The doctor told us my dad had 24 to 48 hours to live if he didnt get a pacemaker. At 93, he opted not to have the surgery, so hospice was needed to weather the coming storm. Residential Hospice had been recommended to us, so our doctor enrolled us before we left his office. The intake nurse came to our home a few hours later to comfort us and order the medications needed for the journey. Each step of the process for the next 40 hours was handled with empathy and professionalism by the hospice team. Since my father’s death, the bereavement team has continued to care for me by calling once a month to assist me in any way they can to ensure I take this grief road successfully. The Residential Team has made this difficult process manageable.

If you ever reach the point in life when you need Hospice to help with a family member then I suggest you contact Residential Hospice. This is a great company and the Hospice team that comes to our home to help me with my 90 year old mother who has 4th stage cancer has helped greatly. Each team member has the experience combined with love and understanding that we both need at this time in our lives. I would like to personally think our hospice team; Kim the nurse, Nicole the Aid, Paul the spiritual counselor, Eunice the social worker, and Ronda the massage therapist. Hospice Residential is an expert company and because of the wonderful service that they are now providing to my mother I give them a 5 star rating. Carl

As patient advocate for my 88 year old mother, I asked for a referral from the assisted living facility where she was residing, for a trusted Hospice service. I was referred to Residential Hospice. As a family we were very happy with the services that the Residential staff provided. The staff was compassionate and caring, not only for mom but also for our family. We were kept informed of the dying process as she proceed along her journey. Residential turned a stressful time for our family into a very memorable experience that we all are so thankful to have. We would like to thank the staff for all the compassionate words and deeds you provided to our Mother and family. The family of Guernietta Adams

My dad was a patient with the hospice part of Residential x22 weeks before he passed. His nurse was Kim, Apple was his aide, Jeremiah was provided music therapy, Colleen provided massage therapy and Paul provided the much needed spiritual guidance. I am getting ready to refer a patient in need. I cannot say enough about this agency. They are awesome!

We feel blessed to have found such a great team of home health care workers - PT, OT, ST and nurse (Jason, Lisa, Laura and Anna) - to help mom with her stroke recovery. We feel confident in recommending the services of Residential Home Health.
