We took our lovely 17-month-old German shepherd dog to Buffalo Companion Animal clinic to neuter him and remove one undescended testicle. Doctor removed the healthy kidney instead of testicle. This vet made a huge mistake, one that will cost our dog a totally normal life. Now our boy will always have to be watched and fed differently and most likely blood tests for renal function quite often. I dont care if the kidney was floating or attached to his backbone, a competent vet would have known what a kidney looked like, especially a functioning kidney on a young healthy dog. What is he going to do next? Spay a dog and remove the strange looking uterus and find out it’s the bladder????????? It’s a big tragedy for all our family members and for the rest of our lives, we will feel guilty for what we have done to our lovely young and previously absolutely healthy boy by taking him to the Buffalo Companion Animal clinic. If you care about your pet’s health- think carefully before considering this clinic as your best choice for the surgery....

We take both our dogs here and love them! They always know who ore dogs are and say hi and love them just as much as we do every time we bring them in. They have welcomed us in time of emergencies and called with updates immediately when they have new information for us. Right now our baby girl who is a 5 month old Tibetan Mastiff is under observation. She swallowed some rocks and sticks at daycare. They have given me a detailed update when I called, showed me the x-rays and explained everything so that I can understand what they are wanting to do and why. They are all very genuine people and we couldnt ask for a better place to help us in caring for our pets!

We have been a part of the BCAC family for over 20 years. I truly mean family as they know us by our animals, they treat them and us with love and kindness. When there is treatment needed we are given several options to choose from and the expense is up front and never far from the estimate. We have had 5 cats and 3 dogs under their care and we wouldnt go anywhere else. They are kind, compassionate, helpful, accommodating and truly loved our furry family members. If you love your animals, BCAC will give them excellent care.

I love that the staff is always warm and welcoming! As well, I appreciate that our appointments are always on time. There is definitely a bend towards making the experience a positive one for our dogs, and that is priceless. I would also like to say that I am so appreciative of the time that Dr. Erlandson spends addressing my questions concerning our dogs (especially concerning titer results) - I feel like we are part of a team, both with the best interest of the dogs in mind. I have always chosen this animal clinic. The staff are so greeting genuinely friendly and you can tell that they actually care about your pets needs and well being. They do not break your bank and they do not do unnecessary testing. They get the job done, and they do it correctly. I highly recommend and I would not take my pets anywhere else unless it were an emergency and the clinic was closed or too far.

Do NOT bring your pet here!! After 3 visits our dog was bleeding internally due to a poor diagnosis. We spent almost $2000.00 in vet fees plus hours of driving and worry. This was difficult enough, but the kicker was that Buffalo Animal Companion Clinic DID NOT take responsibility for their actions and basically blamed US! We are not the doctors and we trusted the professionals to take care of our dog.
