Went to this facility back in November. Went in with a very painful sore throat. (I am switching PCP, so I was stuck with Urgent care) The care was just average. It was like "oh another sore throat". I dont feel like I was treated with the same concern as if I would have come in with some other ailment. To the point though: This urgent care center charges for both facility and physician. And they dont tell you about it. So essentially you are paying twice. I have tried to call around and figure out where their charges policy is listed, so then at least I can have some ease of mind thinking: "Well, I should have done my research. Its posted right there." But I cant find it. What sick person should have to do their research? I knew what my copay was, so I expected that to be my final amount. The billing department was oblivious to all of my questions, and they seem very ill educated. Hmmmm. I wonder why...... I do not enjoy being taken advantage of. I am alright if that is the policy the urgent care has, but it should be publicly listed and really defined at the facility and clearly marked in paperwork.

The care we received was okay. The way that they bill without informing you at the time is absolutely disgusting. I took my child in for a severe stomach ache on a Friday afternoon because our regular Dr. was out of the office. We were there about 30 minutes and had an x-ray. (The x-ray was the cheapest part at $40.00 full price) Luckily my child wasnt seriously ill. With insurance I expected to pay maybe 150.00 or so out of pocket. The full bill was an astonishing 1200.00. I paid $750.00 out of pocket. Cox Health Urgent Care should be ashamed charging patients these amounts. This is basically a walk-in clinic. This is not the E.R. I will never walk through these doors again. I am changing our insurance to go through Mercy as soon as possible. Im done with Cox Health. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and go anywhere else.

Worst experience Ive had at a Healthcare facility. The staff was extremely rude. Not just one but two dirty rooms. Bodily fluids in the first, blood and mucus on the bed and floor in the second. The Dr. was in a hurry. He diagnosed my daughter with a virus within 45 seconds and when questioned he immediately changed it to "Migrains". Hippa Violations noted as well. Computer screen left up displaying patients arrival time, First and last name, how patient arrived and symptoms. This included my child info. I know from working in the Medical field that this is a huge no no. I would not recommend taking your loved ones there. After sharing my experience with family and friends they all have had a similar experience with Cox Urgent care.

I was blow away by the professionalism and how prompt the staff was when I needed to be treated. I have gone to the walk in clinic on Campbell which is owned and operated by Cox. Needless to say they were horrible. I waited for almost 2 hours to take a drug test for employment. The staff were to busy having their errand boy get donuts. I guess all the deadbeats in the medical field from cox work at that walkin clinic. Sad, very sad. I was scared Urgent Care was going to be the same. I was totally wrong and will never go to any walkin clinics ever again in Springfield. I want to thank the staff at Urgent Care for being everything I expect out of healthcare. You guys are the example and the standard...thank you!

My son, my husband and I have all visited the Cox Urgent Care, my son to the Pediatric Urgent Care. Each time we went we were behind impressed with the level of care we received along with the efficiency. Never before have I been to an Urgent Care with any other hospital and spent less than 3 hours... with Cox, I was in and out in an hour. My son, 45 minutes. My husband was 3 hours and had multiple tests run, blood work and a CT. I had to switch from Mercy to Cox this year because of insurance and I was worried. But we have been so happy with all of our doctors! I even delivered my baby with them this year and LOVED my experience with them. I highly recommend Cox to anyone and everyone.

This is almost the worst place Ive been. I get that urgent care can have a long waiting time. Mine was over 3 hours when the place wasnt even packed. Then when I finally got to a room the nurse practitioner said that the doctors are taking their time today and moving really slowly. Like what a joke. Not only that but i told the nurse i was allergic to Zithromax/zithromycin(I am pretty positive she entered in the system). Then when the doctor (Dr. Adams)finally came in( an hour later) he briefly asked me a few questions then told me I was being put on Zithromax... Did he even look at the nurses notes?! Just wow.

Horrible service. Slick mouthed staff that dont understand not feeling good or frustration that they waste your time. All I can say is Dont go here if you have real problems or really dont feel good. Was told to go here by my Dr office and after an hour and 20 min with a horrible migraine, I was told they couldnt do anything for me and wheeled me down to the ER..... where after another hour I ripped my bands off and left to go somewhere that wouldnt have me waiting 2 and a half hours to be seen. Never ever again. Theyre lucky zero stars isnt option.

service and experience was fine like every other urgent care but this place does not bill your insurance as an urgent care. They bill it as a hospital and a doctor separately so that they can charge you 2 copays. Youre much better off finding a different urgent care in your network. Ive talked to my insurance and they said cox doesnt show any urgent care billing option so they can only bill as a hospital. Cox has found a very sneaky way to steal from you.

The wait time wasnt bad the nurses were pleasant to deal with, but Dr Gulafsha is a JOKE. She came in talked 90 to nothing peaked at my sons ears and sent us on our way. Now we came in with my son throwing up and with diarrhea. I wasnt asked any relevant questions. I had to request for tests to be ran, but didnt get anywhere. Will definitely switch to Mercy from now on. I would not recommend anyone to be seen here.

This facility mis-billed us as an emergency room visit. They submitted their billing to my insurance on a facilities claim form. After several months of calling, they still have not corrected it. They just told me that there is a sign in the urgent care lobby that states this is an emergency room visit, NOT urgent care. Be warned. A sore throat is being billed at $587 AFTER insurance paid them. Madness.
