To any and all who read this.. I have been seeing Dr. Kohn for about 9 years now. I first started going to him because had some female issues that caused me to have a hysterectomy. I had never been over weight in my life but after that at 5’8” went to 198lbs and not matter what I tried I couldn’t lose anything. I tried every diet and exercise plan you can think of nothing worked. So a friend of a friend sent me to Dr. Kohn. At first like everything else it didn’t work. Dr. Kohn and I both could figure it out. But, Dr. Kohn wouldn’t stop until he figured out why and what was happening. How he was going to make this work for me. I couldn’t believe his determination he wasn’t going to give up until he got it figured out and you know what he did it!! After about four months I went from 198 and not being able to lose at all to dropping the weight and feeling so much better. Within six to seven months I dropped about 60lbs. I looked and felt like my old self again. After that I started going to Dr. Kohn as my regular MD. I have found though the years he is one of the most through, Reliable, Trustworthy, Sunnier, Honest, Caring, Repeatable, Hardworking doctor that are still out there for use not the insurance companies and yet he’s still Diligently works at bring the latest research available to his practice has Respected Integrity for his determination in his research. Respected Integrity doctors I have found. I would recommend him hands down!! If he doesn’t know what’s going on with you he’ll figure it out. If not he’ll know just where or who to send you too so you will get the help you need to take care of what it is your needing. In my opinion Dr. Ronald Jay Kohn is one of Nevada Most Excellent Top Notch Doctor’s who always takes time out of his busy day to hear what you have to say and help you out. I love Doctor Kohn. I see him for both weight & medical. I found him when seeking a lasting weight loss solution. After seeing him for weight & making great progress in my weight loss, I got to know him and realize his depth of knowledge. I had some medical issues and was prescribed medication by my medical doctor at the time. The medication prescribed had a very adverse effect on me & resulted in a very scary incident landing me in the hospital. Thats when I moved my medical treatment to Dr. Kohn as well. He is fabulous. My husband now sees him as well as my adult son. Yes, the wait for an appointment can be a few weeks initially. Yes, you can wait in the office & exam room for longer than you may like before you see him. However, he will take as much time with you as you need & be more thorough than any doctor youve seen. He will get to the cause of your medical issues, not just treat symptoms. Dr. Kohn is worth the wait. He truly is one of the best doctors Ive seen. Any great doctor Ive been to has a wait and is worth the wait because those doctors truly tend to their patients. Dr. Kohn is certainly one of the great!

After waiting on hold for 25 minutes to make a New Patient appointment, being scheduled 4 weeks out for a severe life threatening disorder, then being told that if I dont call to confirm my own appointment that my appointment time could be given away to someone else since they dont know me yet because Im a new patient (keeping in mind that I will be taking off work for the appointment so if my appointment time is given away I cant re schedule due to work for a long time) its not a good way to start off a report with a new Doctor, the vibe was bad. I will find another Doc that has time for me, can get me scheduled promptly and treat me courteously as a New and Permanent patient. Very disappointing as I have heard great things about this Doctor. Too bad the clinical (front desk) policies kept me from a great Doc! =( • • •

I have always had a great experience coming to this office. Ive been coming since December 3, 2016. The staff is very professional, very knowledgeable, and very polite. Every employee goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Kohn is very knowledgeable in his field of the Weight Loss, and also in his MD field as well. Dr. Kohn is very knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. Dr. Kohn wants what is best for you. He explains everything, before you decide to actually get on the weight loss program. He wants you to have the best plan that suites you the best. Thank you to Dr. Kohn and to all his staff for great customer service.

Dr Kohn is a fantastic Physician. He has been are Family Doctor for years. Dr Kohn represents what you want in a medical provider, simply he is concerned with healing his patient. I have never felt rushed in his office. He always takes time to talk and answer any questions. He might be the only doctor I have ever meet that is more concerned with helping his patients than making money. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone!

Terrible office, dont go here! Front desk staff is so lazy that they will turn you automatically down if you have a Pathway plan, instead of doing their job and calling the provider to check for coverage. Mine is a Blue Card Pathway and is accepted by ALL providers that take Anthem Blue Cross, but they didnt even bother checking before denying me as a patient. For their information, ALL plans sold today are PATHWAY!
