Im not going to give a false "sugar coated" review of Mission Medstaff because doing so may mislead others that really want to know what type of company that they REALLY are! In all honesty, I was skeptical about working for them, at first. Ive been in health care for over half of my life and those of us with nursing backgrounds tend to become realists when it comes to our places of employment. I have worked for Mission for 6 months and I have, honestly, been pleasantly surprised with how well they treat their employees! The nursing supervisors, care coordinators, HR, payroll and even the receptionist have been nothing but helpful since I began working there. On one occasion, a payroll error resulted in my check being short (first and only time that this occurred). I EXPECTED to have to wait another 2 weeks to receive the pay because, that is normally how things work. Not only did the payroll department own up to the error but they contacted me, informed me of the error and personally delivered a check to my bank for deposit!! I have NEVER had another company do that, whether the error was their fault or not! I am very proud to work for a company that really cares about their employees!

It is often said that, "A mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take." As a single mother of a chronically-ill son battling a disorder with no known cure, I wasnt able to take the place of others. I barely had time for my other son, for myself, or my career. Mission Medstaff has made it possible for me to find a new balance in my life. Trusting someone else to care for my child is one of the hardest challenges I face. Mission Medstaff provided our family with someone who I can trust to help care for my son. It affords me time so that I can meet the needs of my other son. I didnt have to give up my career, which means I can provide for my family. Thank you Whitney, RN and Patrick, CNA!! Whitney does an amazing job organizing my sons care, and Patrick implements those needs. Patricks kindness, caring, and excellent medical care are a gift and a blessing to my son. My son seems happier when Patrick is in our home helping. He looks forward to the days when Patrick is working with him. Thank you Mission Medstaff for providing my son and our family with such excellent medical care!

I really love working for this company! They are very organized and and will only put you on cases that you feel comfortable with. The staff members are always so very helpful with any needs and are very quick to responding to any questions you have via email or phone. They offer good health benefits, PTO, flexible schedules and competitive salaries. I am very pleased with what I make there compared to most other home care agencies, I chose Mission Medstaff for the pay and Im glad I did. I highly recommend working for this company, especially if you are a new grad or need a change of scenery. They took me in as a new graduate BSN, RN from East Carolina University and gave me thorough training for the clients to receive the best, personalized care possible. I have been an employee with the company over a year and love it. I have had the same family the entire time. Both the family and company are flexible with my hours should I need changes or an emergency occurs. Office staff are friendly and coordinators are quick at responding to any calls/concerns. Whitney Ford is a fantastic nursing supervisor. She always makes our visit brief and efficient. She interacts with Keira and always makes her smile. I enjoy our informative visit. Mission Medstaff has staffed Keira with two excellent night CNAs that are consistent, professional and loving. There were times in the past that we didnt have the best CNAs fit for our family, but they worked quickly to find the CNAs that did fit, and we are grateful!
