A decent Dr. but pushes extras and bills for services not received. I visited them in June this year to get a routine eye exam. I havent had one in about 3 years and I felt it was overdue. I called my insurance company ahead of time to confirm coverage and then made an appointment for the 28th. They were busy when I arrived, but were able to fit me in quick enough. The first room I went into had about 4 machines lined up to collect data on my eyes. They move you through them quickly, with the last machine being an add-on costing $40 (refraction). I said no to this and the technician was put off guard, and acted surprised. She pushed the benefits of that particular test but I stood by my decision. The rest of the visit was easy and straightforward enough and I left in about an hour or so with a prescription and contacts. I went to JC Penny for glasses that look good and cost 50% less than at Lens Crafters. Then the bill came. Fox Eye Care didnt go through my insurance to cover the remaining amount. A quick phone call to my insurance fixed their mistake, however it took quite a while and some phone tag before I was able to ensure the mistake was fixed on Foxs end as well. Overall, they did what I needed them to do (check my eyes). However, the billing end of things is quite important as well. Fox appears, in my mind, to need to pay more attention to the billing side to ensure proper care of their patients.

Unprofessional and rude staff. They try to make everything your problem. I called because my contacts were brand new and were of horrendous quality. They kept splitting in half and rolling to the corner of my eye, and I kept having to throw them away one by one. I politely explained this to both ladies I spoke to, the first who answered was to no account, the second who was a manager was also to no account. Both ladies pretty much said the same thing. Oh it sounds like this may be resulting in a medical problem, you need to come back in for a 40 dollar sitting to get re-checked. I then expressed that this not only happened to me, but also happened to my mom, and also that it would be ridiculous to pay an extra 40 dollars just for a sitting when they should have sent me more contacts to make up for the bad quality ones they gave me. But no, she just kept stressing to come in and pay for another sitting. Extremely unprofessional and trashy staff and management they have working at that place. All this place cares about is money. They dont care about your eyes, your health, or the fact that my contacts and check-up together were already 250 dollars (yes Im serious.) I am now out brand new contacts that were extremely costly. Save yourself the time, and go to someone who practices optometry seriously at their own office. I will never go to this place ever again!

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this place is! It may not seem like a big deal, however, they have the best customer service that I have ever experienced. I had a few issues with my contact lens and was expecting to have to pay for my new pair but they went out of their way to help me with my issue. Each and every staff member (Amber, Terry, Ashley and Amanda) helped to squeeze me in to a new appointment in less than 24 hours! Not only were they friendly and professional but they all seemed to genuinely care about the custoners. If youre looking for a new eye doctor this is a great place to choose! Theyve won me over at this location. Thanks ladies!

Im updating my review from 2 stars to 4. Shortly after writing my review (below), I received 2 calls from their office. They found my scan and mailed it to me. Note that a month passed between my original inquiry and my writing of the review, so it seems my review made a difference. Thank you Google. Original review: "I dont like to write bad reviews, but its necessary in this case. The Dr. pushed me to have an expensive retinal scan. A few years later when I asked for the scan for medical reasons, they said they dont back them up and the machine, which had been moved to another location, automatically deletes them. Sloppy medicine."

Honestly, I wont go back, the Dr. is not but they tried to talk me into going toric lense on one eye when I did not need to. They were about 40 bucks more for that lens prescription. To come in and sit down was about $158.00 , they said they price match Walmart prices but wasnt happy about it, they are rude and I wont go back! They upcharge because of location, count me out! I am going to stick and stay at WALMART and maybe go to different vendors for the actual eyeglasses

Dr. John Jones is a highly qualified optometrist at Fox Eye Care where the office staff are both courteous and helpful. As a 15 year patient of Dr. Jones, I would choose only the best. His service, knowledge and patient care is superb making him a great asset to the business.

All staff efficient, pleasant, helpful, always accommodating--cant say enough about them and Dr. Jones for the care of my family and myself! Because so busy, wait times are sometimes inevitable, but the attentive, professional care is well worth the wait. Kudos all around!

Jessica the manager at this office was rude. Unhelpful. Rushing me off the phone. I dont know how they stay in Business. I was looking for a local eye doctor for my family. They will never get my business or any business from the people I know or work with.

I had my annual eye exam for the first time at Foxx eye care today and loved it! The staff is very friendly as well as knowledgeable about eyecare. The doctor knows his stuff and was great too! I will definitely go back to the next time!!
