My room mate and I rescued two kittens this past spring and were terrified we wouldnt have the money to give them a good home and all of the care they needed. It was a HUGE relief when it came time to neuter and spay them and I found that West Geauga Veterinary Hospital was on the Friends of Animals list for their spay and neuter coupons. Ive known one of the vet techs there since childhood, and she has always had such a passion for animals, which made us so much more comfortable in trusting them with our cats. They did an awesome job with the neuter (spay is next week), they were upfront about the price as soon as I made the appointments so that we made sure we had enough, and they treated our male like the king that he is ♥ They also took the time to explain to me how to give him his pain meds, and what to expect while he was healing. He is going great now and we look forward to bringing the female in next week. Thank you West Geauga Veterinary Hospital!

We are switching to a new vet due to the treatment at this vet clinic. We took our cat there to check for feline AIDS. We waited about 20 minutes for the results that should have taken 10 minutes...and we had to ask for the results. The vet is patronizing and talks down to you, I really dont need the attitude. Her prices are also astronomical. She used to charge 27 dollars for a exam now she charges 38 and all she did was pick up the cat...I could have told her he had a eye infection without paying 38 dollars. She orders unnecessary tests just to bump up the bill (I once removed over a hundred dollars worth of tests that were unnecessary--did not need 60 dollar tests to confirm urinary tract infection). This is the main problem with vets today...they care more about the money than they do about the pet. They would let your pet die before not getting their money paid in full--even if you are a long time customer.

I cannot say enough great things about this animal care center, the vets (Drs. Jones and Pappas) and the caring staff - including Barb. I was looking for a vet that seemed small town in a caring attitude and thats what I found at West G. Vet. Hospital. I had a horrible experience where my 9 mo old puppy ate grapes. His kidneys were shutting down and he was near death by the time we realized what he had eaten. After emergency care on Sunday evening I took him to our vet for week long overnight care by Dr. Pappas and staff. I was traumatized but the staff was so kind and caring I cannot tell you how much this meant. He pulled through and is laying with me here now a year later. They are amazing vets, but kind and caring as well.

I was very impressed with Dr. Pappas and the whole staff. The place was extremely clean. Appointments were right on time. While many closer vets wont even take small animals like my bunny, the entire staff here was helpful and everyone knew their stuff. Im very grateful to them for helping me with my bunny Inky and I cant say enough good things.

They keep horrible records. I needed a renewed prescription for my dog and they did not even have any records that the gave it to me in the first place. Then they charged me a lot of money for a perception I didnt want and wouldnt take back. they didnt tell me that the drug had many bad side effects for my dog. I will never be coming back here

They treat your pets with love and kindness as if they were their own pets. The staff here truely care about the wellbeing of every type of animal that comes through their door and to them their job is more than just a paycheck, it is how they make a difference in the world. If you ever need care for your pet this is the best place to go.

I had never been to this clinic, but had an adult duck with mild bumblefoot. I got an appointment very quickly, and both the staff and Dr. Pappas were wonderful. Thorough, compassionate and caring are what you need when faced with a pet illness, and these kind people exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

My first experience with this vet was when I brought an injured wild rabbit there for care (they do wild animal rehabilitation). Ultimately, they had to euthanize the rabbit, but I was so impressed by their service that I decided to bring my cat there too. I highly recommend Dr. Jones.

Dr. Pappas and her staff saved our puppys life 12 years ago, and has been our vet ever since. Now our "baby" is a senior, and they continue to keep her healthy and active. Caring staff members, clean and well-run facility!
