York Dental was recommended to me by my employers insurance plan, and I took the chance because it was close to where I lived. I regret ever going here, as it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. York Dental comes off something like the fast-food equivalent of a real dental practice. I had made an appointment in advance and had arrived ahead of time, but it didnt seem to matter. People were walking in cold and getting the same level of preference. The reason is because the "practice" amounts to just one dentist, and he was taking so many walk-in patients that there was a virtual back-up in the waiting room. Once its finally your turn youre led into not so much an examination room but rather a large "stall," kind of like at a budget haircut place. Before you hanging from the ceiling is a large television screen with a computer grid that, for some reason, shows all the patients in the office and where theyre situated, kind of like a monitor at a fast-food restaurant that shows whose order the staff needs to work on next. Already youre being made to feel not like a valued patient but rather like "Customer #7." The staff itself was friendly and polite, no question there. The real problem again comes from the dentist himself, Dr. Alrabady. I didnt see him until well over an hour into my appointment; most of the time I was alone in my stall watching the "menu board" fill up with more walk-in patients. This is the fundamental flaw with his practice: he takes everyone in left and right to the point where nobody gets proper attention or treatment. Okay, so he finally walks in, and I explain that I had made the appointment for a specific problem (replacing an older fill that had fallen out). He needs to do a full exam first, which is fine with me and standard procedure, and he notes other areas that I will need eventual work on...again, understandable. But then, instead of working on the problem I came in for, he excuses himself to get a print-out of all of the services he wants to do on me, with prices listed next to each service. I am literally presented with a "menu." I politely explain that I really just want my filling replaced, as it was causing me pain, and then he tells me that all of the other services had a limited-time pricing. So now Im being high-pressured by a dentist to get a bunch of additional services; he wants me to "add-on" and "super-size" my dental work. I again decline and he reluctantly works on my filling, hastily rushing through it in order to take care of the numerous other patients on the "order board" (fast food workers will get this reference: "Fast track is going up!"). I felt rushed, neglected, and patronized...and now its been over a year after my visit and I STILL feel occasional discomfort from where he worked on me. Dr. Alrabady is the prime example of why people hate going to the dentist.

This dentist told me I needed two root canals. It was only after he began the work that he told me I had to pay the balance off before he would finish the job - AND I have good dental insurance. He was so worried he wouldnt get the remaining balance after the insurance paid out. Ive never given him reason to believe I wouldnt pay it. I had to walk around with two huge holes in my chewing teeth for four months until I could pay the balance off. If I would have known this beforehand, I would NOT have went here. He should have told me this before he began the procedure. I am not using my real name due to privacy. But I will never return to this place again. And, in response, to the dentists response - this is DEFINITELY the place that I went to. I am NOT mistaken with that!! And I have three children - two of whom need braces. Im going elsewhere for those services! And, why would a MEDICAL PROVIDER expect me to use my REAL name? Do you know anything about patient privacy?

I am so afraid of the dentist! I had full mouth gum surgery in 2002 and then was told oh well sorry you have bad genes, so my pockets were coming back I was bone loss..and every thing they did hurt me so little by little I stopped going unless I had to. Fast forward to 2016, I went to York Dental wanting another opinion ..They make me feel comfortable while I am there. I have been able to ask questions, they have been patient with me. I have finally found a dentist I can trust and will be going to for the rest of my life! I am switching my kids..I have told my mom and my niece already. I can not say enough good things about this place. Thank you so much Dr A and staff!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! ...They are all about the MONEY MONEY MONEY...Dont give a Damn about the patient, the patients pain, the quality of work,,,how long you wait....The Doc is Very ROUGH HANDED...talks to his female assistants like dirt...very condescending to them as well as patients...very CHEAP also...he skimps on novacane to save a few $$ at the expense of the patients suffering....THIS IS A BAD DENTAL OFFICE (loose term)....so, unless you wanna pay top $$ (UP FRONT), for sub-standard care, listen to the doc downgrade his STUPID HELP, be talked down to yourself, suffer & probably have to have it RE-DONE ... DONT GO HERE !!!...Mike Sarkes

Staff is wonderful and so sweet. The doctor was great in explaining things and working on my teeth. He did a great job. Ive been there a total of 3 times already. Ive recommend my family and friends. I will definitely return. I love the same day appointments.. the very first time i went here i had a wisdom tooth pulled, i was very nervous and scared to the point of crying. the doctor eased my mind and did the best he could to make me feel good. A few days later, on a Saturday i had dry socket,(not by his fault) he actually came in on Saturday when they were supposed to be closed to treat me. Now, thats exceptional service. Tammy Balogh.

DONT EVER GO TO THIS DENTIST. Majdi Alrabadt is a DDS not a MD he rather charge for a x-ray and not work on cause he is worry about some that is not relevant to mouth work. My girl had an appointment to have a tooth remove because it was broken in 2 pieces he refused to work on her because she had cervical cancer in the past that is not active and was treated. He is not a MD this should of not stopped him from doing what he is pay for at his place of business.

Majdi I. Alrabady DDS, BDS, FAGD treated me in August of 2016 on an emergency basis. This was my first visit, and I was given an appointment for the same afternoon. Dr. Alrabady and his staff were very accommodating to my schedule that day and very kind, and Dr. Alrabady was very helpful and successful with treating the dental condition. I highly recommend Dr. Majdi I. Alrabady and would be happy to be treated by him in the future.
