I never thought Id look forward to going to the dentist.... I hate going to the dentist and will avoid it at all costs. But it had to be done. People thought I was nuts when I schedule the entire month of May for extensive dental work. But it was about as pleasant an experience as anyone could hope for. The first thing youll notice is how bright and clean the place is. Really nice. The front desk staff not only has a smile on their face, but a sense of humor as well. And that certainly made me feel more at ease. Then -- the technology will blow your mind. Aspen has state of the art X-ray machines and stuff Ive never seen anywhere else. Not only that, but they actually use these digital x-rays while they are working on your mouth. They even give you a tour of your mouth via the x-ray. Dr. Lloyd is really great. He has a soft and pleasant demeanor that will make you feel comfortable and at ease. I also cant say enough about the staff - Kayla, Jasmine and so many others who worked with me over the course of cleanings, fillings, crowns and wisdom teeth extractions (I know - what was I thinking?!) Another thing I LOVE about this place is that they hate pain as much as I do. Theres even this gel that they put on your gums as they clean your teeth -- that totally rocks! Kayla is a little OCD about getting every little bit of plaque off your teeth and out of your gums - I dont think Ive ever met a hygienist quite so committed to freeing the world of gum disease - but there she is. Scheduling is easy, payments are even easier (they take just about every insurance!) and you cant beat the location! Im really happy that I found this place.

I had a disaster at this place...Dr. LIoyd was the reason for it..I had a tooth that he could have just sent me to an Endodontist from begging but instead he re-filled it again (altho it was the root problem). He said the pain and sensitivity will go, but after 5 month of tolerating nerve pain I went back with fever and infection in roots and he did a root canal again instead of sending me to a specialist.. The tooth was good for 3 month and i started having jaw pain and it turned out that he didnt do a good job in root canal (N2) and left some nerves un-treated in the tooth..(i even paid for the crown after the root canal). He said you have infection (abscess) in your tooth and THEN he sent me to an endodontist. It was too late the specialist tried to fix it (after charging me for 700$) for just opening it and putting medicine (antibiotics) on it and it didnt get better and finally I had to pay for PULLING the TOOTH OUT..that was Aspen dentals fault from beginning... I told all my friends to keep away from them if they ever suggested them a ROOT CANAL..please go to a specialist dont let them touch your teeth..I am paying off the 3500$ for a pulled out tooth..waste of money and time with all the pain and stress that I went through..If I had time I would have sued them all..

i made an appt. for a check up and cleaning. waited for 45 minutes before i was even seen. they took x-rays and sat me in another room. waited some more. a "dentist" came in looked at the x-rays & told me i had 1 cavity, needed 2 of my existing fillings replaced and that i needed a deep cleaning in which they clean under your gums. mind you, that procedure costs $1100. then they left the room and i heard the dentist tell the patient in the next room that she needed the same $1100 gum cleaning done. seemed fishy. all in all, i was there for 2 hours, and didnt even get a cleaning. i left and made an appt with another dentist (not associated with aspen dental) for a second opinion. my new dentist said i had NO cavities and the 2 fillings that aspen dental wanted to replace were fine. and said that if i dont start flossing, i may eventually have to have the deep cleaning done, but not now. where as, aspen dental wanted me to come in the following week to have it done. then to top it all off, i just gt a bill from aspen dental for $185. for what? they did nothing but take x-rays and look at my teeth (again, NO cleaning)... and tried to milk me and my insurance with procedures that i didnt even need.

They are not reliable. They do not want even to give estimates. They screwed up my root canal and i had to leave it like to avoid the intense pain during the procedure and they had no idea why it was happening. The posts from other people are absolutely right.they just need money.they Xrayed me 2 months back and now i wanted to a filling and they want to xays again. what the hell do they think.doing xrays left and right and exposing my body to unnecessary radiation.Absolutely no professionalism.the front doesnt even want to give me a estimate until i walkin. What kind of an office runs like this?I paid more than $600 for a root canal under a discount plan bought by me and now i am sitting with a big hole in my tooth which troubles me every few months when the filling goes of.They want me to pay again for their mess. Stay away from them.

I have used Aspen Dental for several years now and love the staff and Dr. Lloyd. My latest experience was for a toothache and the staff was loving and so caring. I received the news that my toothache was due to an abscess in my lower 6 yr molar. They recommended a root canal. Prices have changed since my last root canal in 2015. I was given the price and was shocked, since I do not have dental insurance, I was really worried on how I could financially pay for this procedure. I received a coupon for a reduced amount and then another deduction. My price was easier to handle now and was extremely grateful for Darlenes help on this matter. I love Aspen Dental in Fairlawn and wouldnt go to anyone else. Thank you so much for having an amazing staff and to Dr. Lloyd for his positive outlook.

This was my first experience with Aspen Dental and the team in Fairlawn made it painless. The office manager Katie was an absolute delight to deal with, pleasant and knowledgeable. She happily worked with my schedule and got me in for a cleaning and a crown replacement. After I made my way past the front desk everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Lloyd was calm and methodical and didnt let me leave his chair without a perfect fit for my crown. The hygienist Kayla was prompt and paid very close attention to detail. Jasmine and Stasia took my impressions and x-rays flawlessly and had a beautiful attitudes throughout the procedure. My teeth are clean and bright again. I look forward to trusting this team with my smile in the future. I even got a free toothbrush.

We used this office in 2008, and caught a lot of bogus charges before we dropped them The common practices include over charging first then adding bogus flouride treatments or x-rays to balance the book: For example, if you need to fill a cavity, they will charge you extra $50, then in later cleaning visits, add bogus flouride treatment to balance the book. According to Aspen staff, this was done by a former manager who was fired before the end of 2008, but I doubt they would go back to clean up all the mess for all the customers unless you ask. If you use this office before, ask for a detailed account info and read through them, pay special attention to the bogus charges mentioned above, and you may get some of the cheated money back before it is too late
