I was brought in by amblence to the er because of heat exhaustion and extreme dehyration from my work that this frequently occurs at. Only recieved half a pint of fluid from the parametics, the hopsital straight refused to give me any more fluids. I asked for pain meds due to the head ache I developed from the dehydration and they refused to give them to me until my husband went to them and explained why I needed them and after 1 1/2 hrs after asking I got them. They insisted they had to take my blood and blew 2 veins trying to get my blood and ended up taking it from the iv tube. They took about 10 ml of blood ( half of that they threw away due to it having the iv fluid in it) Note: They inisited on taking my blood when my blood pressure and heart rate were really low. Blood pressure 60/40 and I am unsure of the heart rate when they took my blood They had me on a heart moniter for over 3 hrs beause of this. Then they made me get up and do a urine test when I was still shaky. The only reason I didnt pass out again was because my husband was having me drink from my canteen of water. After my urine test, the entire staffs attitude towards me did a 180 and suddenly they were much nicer because they now had proof that I was telling the truth that I was not a drug addict like they assumed. When I had gotten my pain medicine, it hurt when injected because I have over sensitive nerves. The nurse insisted that either I was making it up or that I was just imagining a burning sensation because I was nervous. At the end they determined that I passed out from having low magnesium not dehydration. I only was more dehydrated during their tests because my husband was taking care of me while the nurses rarely visited and only to check vitals. Honestly I feel that I could have been seriously harmed during my visit because of the poor care I recieved.

Okay let me first say that the nurses are really sweet. Thats all the good i have to say. I came in today for the second time with my son. The last time he was maybe two months old? The first time he had a temp and was coughing and congested. The doctor there prescribed him amoxicillin. My son threw up the medication (not spit up. He projectile vomited after we gave it to him) and had runny diapers. I called the pediatrician and they said that hes too young for amoxicillin. Fantastic. So I stopped him immediately. Today I go in, my son has a temp of 102.4. Has had a fever all night, diarrhea, rash and fussy. The SAME doctor asks me if Ive given him Motrin. No, hes too young for it. Ped and everyone I know said no Motrin until after 6 months. I tell him this, he said no he thinks its just fine. After my previous experience, I call my ped to tell them whats going on to see if they could see him. The nurse even said its a no-go on Motrin. (He is 5 months old) This is completely unacceptable. They really need to get their acts together. I will never go back to this hospital. Obviously your older male doctor there needs to brush up on care associated with babies.

Went to the ER due to feeling weak and dizzy for the past two days. Got there at 10:45. Didnt get to leave until 3 am. They took my blood and a test on my heart. Then we waited 2 hours. They came in a few times to do vidals and then asked me to give them a urine sample. 20 minutes later they came back, told me everything came back okay and sent me home. Didnt tell me what could have caused it, didnt give me any tips like drink more fluids, or drink some juice. NOTHING. They practically made me sit for 5 hours to tell me they dont know whats wrong with me. If they didnt, then they should of sent me to somewhere that does NOT home.

I took my MIL here. She was unresponsive and her BP was SUPER low. They did the run of the mill stuff they do on everyone, did not speak to her about anything, no IV fluids, and let her go home with her BP very low. They had a patient in the bay beside us, and was talking about him like a dog. They left the bay open and the man was naked. I saw everything the poor guy had. This hospital needs to be torn down! WORST PLACE EVER!!

Went in with wife with a fever and headache while breastfeeding. Everything online says it could be a related infection, yet they ignore that and say it is the flu. Nothing but a band-aid station. Should have drove 45 min to Adena.

Waited 1 hour to get a X-ray of my ankle. Left after 4 hours waiting on the results. Never did get them so I left. Very poor customer service. I will never go back to this Hospital.
