Our Mom was transferred to Select Specialty LTACH-Mt. Clemens for her acute respiratory needs after being in ICU at another hospital for 4 weeks. This LTACH was clean, well-managed, and most importantly made Mom feel comfortable and cared for. The entire team: sanitation staff, technicians, nurses, physical therapists, PAs, doctors, care manager, patient advocate, and CEO were all attentive, friendly, and share responsibility for this positive experience. Mom wants to especially recognize the pulmonary team as being outstanding, caring, and helpful in tending to her respiratory needs which allowed her to be transferred to a rehab facility to continue on her road to recovery.

My experience here at Select Specialty Hospital has been good, the staff do their best to care for the patients. Mom has been here for three weeks and here wound is doing very well. The healing process will take some time to heal, but I am up for the challenge. Praise belongs to Jah for all things. The staff is very pleasant and informative about my mothers needs. What I appreciate the most about the care mom receives is, they take the time to call me for a consent if something new has to be done with mom. Each patient is valuable to them and it shows in the care. Thank you Select Specialty Hospital for your care.

Select Specialty Hospital - Macomb is a hidden gem in Mount Clemens. From recently obtaining the prestigious Pulmonary Center of Excellence designation to hosting multiple Fundamentals of Critical Care Support classes, this particular hospital is poised for Hospital of Excellence in the near future. This hospital works very closely with all disciplines to give each patient individualized and customized care. In March of 2017 they will be opening their newly renovated 2nd floor and soon to follow will be the 5th floor. All private rooms to give excellent care to all our their patients.

I have worked at Select Specialty Hospital since 2007 and love being employed there. The care and respect for patients and families is superb. Attention and focus is about the patient and outcomes.
