To Whom It May Concern: I want to acknowledge the great service and attention that I received while at Oakland Regional Hospital. I had my bariatric surgery on January 23rd by Dr. Weiner and at first I was not too thrilled to have my surgery at this facility mainly due to my unfamiliarity with this facility. Dr. Weiner gave you high marks and I trust him so I agreed not to move my surgery. Today, I am so glad that I trusted him and did not move my surgery. The staff at this facility were so kind and made me feel like a part of the family. They helped me keep my nerves together before the surgery but I really like to complement them on how well they helped me post-op. I had a moment after the surgery where I broke down and lost it. The staff helped me so much by hugging me and comforting me until I could gather myself and that made a great difference in how my recovery went from that point forward. Everyone was so kind and I am so grateful of them showing how much they care. My current recovery is based on that foundation and I would recommend this hospital without hesitation to anyone who is looking to have their surgery there. Let me apologize for not having the names of the nurses and other staff members who made my stay so favorable however, let them know that I consider them as the best nurses that I have ever had in any former medical care situation that I have had in my life. I am starting a new journey in my life and because of the care I was provided at your facility, I am off to a great start. Thanks to all that shared a hug and a smile. It was truly appreciated.

ORH is one of the better Nursing and Rehab Centers in the area. Exceptionally clean and friendly staff. As with all facilities, it is important for the patient and family to stay on top of medical needs. Ask questions, expect follow-through, and pay attention.

The staff was excellent-very helpful and polite and explained the procedure and after care thoroughly and clearly, as were The anesthesiologist ,Dr. Parr, and surgeon, Dr Charles Laker. The facility is also very clean.

My surgeon was great, but they said no more food by the time I woke up, theres about 5 of us, so I ordered hungry howies for all off us..this is the worst place you want to end up..very disappointed

Came for therapy on my arm. My therapist was awesome and after two months I was in such a better place. Not only did I get treatment, but got educated on how to prevent further injury.
