I recently started taking my service dog here because his former vet retired. The first time I came in to establish my dog and myself as new clients I felt very welcomed. I brought him in about two weeks later to have his toenails cut. They did a fabulous job. While he was getting his nails cut Dr. White made a point to come out and introduce herself. She is very pleasant and does not make you feel like you are stupid using fancy terminology. She is very down to earth and respectful. My dog is a guide dog and of course I depend on him to take me through the community safely and healthy. I am confident that he is in the best hands possible here. Every time I have been in the facility smells clean and the staff are pleasant and professional. My dog is very well taken care of when they take him to the grooming room. I hear the staff laughing and giving him all kinds of love. Since my dog is a guide dog I have high standards for the way he is treated and Dr. White is completely on the same page with me.

I started taking my animals to McGee Street before they constructed the new building. Before the new building, the prices were fair and I felt Dr. Emmert was more attentive. Now it seems the facility is more buisness minded and less compassionate. Even though we had been going their years, when I had to put my animal to sleep, I was rushed to say my good-byes as the staff and doctor came in every 5-10 minutes. Routine checkups and office visits are simply that. Routine. And costly might I add. I had never really thought to check other vets out, until a recent office visit cost me $250 for yearly shots and I had finally had enough. After shopping around, I found several other BETTER vets that charge less than half the price for the same shots. My advice to potential clients.....shop around! My advice to McGee Street....work on your prices and compassion.

I used to take my animals to this location before they remodeled. A recent visit revealed more expensive but not necessarily better services. It appeared the vet wanted to run numerous diagnostic tests resulting in a bill for over $200 for my very old but much loved feline which ultimately had to be put down. I will not use this animal hospital ever again because I believe their primary concern is making money. Care and compassion rate low on their list of priorities.

Called to get an estimate on how much a few shots for my dog would cost & the receptionist told me how much. I mentioned these being cheaper at another vet (wasnt sure if they offered matching of other vets) & she gave me great advice by telling me to go to that Vet! Im not sure that this advice was a very good business practice for a place looking to make money. Absolute worst customer service I have ever received. Thanks for the help!

I have been taking my dogs to Mcgee Street Animal Hospital for four years now. I really enjoy the big reception area and exam rooms since my dogs are quite large. The equipment at the animal hospital is very up to date such as the underwater treadmill and therapeutic laser. Overall, the veterinarian was able to answer all of my questions sufficiently and thoroughly explain what was wrong with my pet and the treatment.

Dr. Emmert is superb. He is always able to answer all of my questions about my dog, since she has a bad couple of ears and a bad back. She has been going to McGee Street Animal Hospital for wellness checkups, her injections at the end of the year, and she needed a couple of surgeries. She also had a laser treatment on her back.

DO NOT USE!!! They do not stand behind the word of their staff! Unfair billing - staff said there would be NO charge, several weeks later I received a bill and they will not stand behind what I was told by the individual. I even questioned him and the other front office staff!! DO NOT USE!!!!!

This animal hospital takes pride in taking care of your precious loved one! They made sure my baby got healthy and they did it with compassion! They called to give me timely updates and when I arrived to get my baby, they were very pleasant which made the whole experience worth while!
