First off, the vet gave my dogs treats to have them warm up to her but she never asked me if it was ok for her to do that... Uhh.. Now Im dealing with my dog having a skin reaction to the treat she gave him probably because the treat had chicken or beef in it... Also, not once did the Vet or the Vet-tech ask me if there were any health concerns I needed to have addressed today but when I mentioned a few things I have been wanting to have checked out, all they did was look at it and gave me nothing to help make it better. Worthless!! My one dog has tons of skin issues (dry skin, hot spots, etc.) and they didnt give me any information to make it better for him... On top of the vet not caring one bit for my dogs... I had an appointment and ended up waiting for over 30 mins to be seen and then it took a total of an hour and a half to get out of there... RIDICULOUS!! By far the worst vet experience Ive ever had in my entire life...

Dr. Braat had a great attitude towards my cat as he looked at his eyes, teeth, and nose. But he diagnosed my cats eye problem as "getting scratched by the other cat", when it is clearly iris atrophy, from all the symptoms and such that I researched, and was telling him about. I feel like he didnt listen to anything I said and misdiagnosed my cats condition. Also, my cat has had problems with sneezing and snotty discharge over the past few years, a couple times each year. The doctor summarily prescribed a course of antibiotics. How does he know its a bacterial infection? It could be viral or allergies. Antibiotic abuse is why there is a problem with resistant bacteria! And again, he wasnt listening to me, how can my cat have a bacterial infection for years at a time, that comes and goes? Overall, I think his bedside manner was excellent, but Im disturbed and annoyed by incorrect diagnoses.

MamaBearcareformypets 12/02/2011 Watch out for cruel euthanasias. I was REFUSED a sedative for my cat, and her last moments were of fear, terror, pain, struggling to get away and yowling loudly with all her might. It didnt matter to this young arrogant vet. I was told by her "I got the job done" meaning she killed my cat and that is all that mattered. Seems she doesnt believe in a peaceful death. Tess Jarmain compared the yowls and struggles of my cat, to her taking a blood draw from an animal. So if you hear your pet yowling or screaming with a blood draw at her hands, then owner beware and forewarned. Cold, callous. When I complained to Dr. Ben Braat, he called himself a "coward" and would not even tell her to use a sedative from now on. "I dont teach medicine" I was told. Demand a sedative for your ill and old pet, or find someone that will do it humanely!

Dr. Braat and his team are wonderful. They have been caring for our animals including horses, sheep, cats & dogs, etc for over 20 years and we love them. We have not found a better veterinary practice ever. Dr. Braat is an excellent veterinarian and has always been wonderful with our animals regardless of the time of day or night. He is very caring towards them and has always made honest, straightforward recommendations regarding their care. Recently we have gotten to know Dr. Jamie Doerr who works with Dr. Braat and like her very much as well. She is very low keyed and relaxed and takes her time with you and your animal. Overall - highly recommend Dr. Braat, Dr. Doerr and the whole team at Linn Veterinary Clinic. They are wonderful!

This is the worst vet I have ever been to!! I highly recommend any other place! I had my dog there 5 time and tried to explain what was going on and no one would listen! Now the damage is done my dog will forever live with there mistakes! Please please just go somewhere else! By the way I had to put at least one star or I couldnt post this, I give it - 10 stars ✨ If I won the lottery i would do everything in my power to put these people out of business thats how terrible they are!!

Ive had issues with LVH over the years, but have always came back. And am happy to say that they seem to be improving! I do wish that they would of checked our puppy for Mange sooner than me having to call and ask for it. But they did great at managing to squeeze us in for her appointments, often with very short notice. There were times (years ago) when I would of prolly gave them zero stars. But am overall pretty happy with them lately.

Waited over a hour past my appointment time and when I finally saw the vet, she just said my cat was vomiting everyday due to anxiety. This is hardly a scientific diagnosis worth the $100+ bill and hour waiting. My cat is still throwing up and the pheromone prescription did nothing. Im taking her to the OSU veterinarian school. This place shouldnt be allowed to practice on cats. Total waste of time and money!

We have been to many vets, but we will stay forever at Linn. They really, truely love the animals, they are available on the weekends and late at night. Prices are reasonable and they never try to charge you for any extras. Appointments are prompt and staff is all super friendly and compassionate. They saved our dogs life, twice, in an extremely urgent situation... once at 6:00 in the morning.

I love this place and trust my vet with everything. Truly people that care about your animals and who hurt when you are hurting or they are. As wonderful as can be when going through the hard stages of life with your animals and even more wonderful when youre enjoying the happy stages of your babies lives. I drive 2 hours to go to this vet because theyre the only ones in Oregon I trust.

I have been with Ben Beast, DVM for about 30 years. He has taken care of all my horses, dogs and kitties. He is a wonderful, caring, kind man and great Vet. He has a lady Vet working in the clinic. Her name is Dr Barlow. She is a very caring and kind Bet. I dont know a lot about her but I can say the two times we saw her she was very good.

Terrible service. Took my dog in to get rechecked for a ruptured disc in his back and they turn around and gave him meds that killed him. Be warned and ask them will this medication make my dog unable to breathe. When your pet starts breathing short hard breathes and poops nothing but blood then you have a problem. Worst vet service ever!

Always have to wait 30-45 minutes after scheduled appointment time to get in to see vet. The waiting room is too small and dirty. At my last appointment the vet barely looked at my dog and ran out the door. I tried to get her to look at some sores on his belly and she wouldnt. Terrible service. Wish we had better options in Albany.
