Wow I am blown away by this place. Im SO happy my friend recommended it. Its a bit of a drive for me but worth it. The doctor and staff were very knowledgeable, gave us recommendations and also told us what would be a waste of money (our previous vet tried to upsell us several times) but they didnt try to upsell us once. They were very honest and straightforward and we could tell they really really cared about our puppys well being. Our puppy was nervous and squirmy and the doctor took his time with this exam to make him comfortable. By the end of it, our puppy was laying in the doctors arms, content and ready to nap. Even without a "waived newcomers fee" (offered by our previous vet) the price for his exam and boosters was very affordable and alot cheaper than what we paid prior. Less money for alot better of a service. I HIGHLY recommend this place. They have been voted the best for a damn reason. Aumsville animal clinic, thank you so much! You have gained a lifelong customer.

We took our "suspected diabetic" cat to AAC for a check-up and blood test to confirm our suspicions. Dr. Katie scheduled Sammy for a next-day glucose curve and when the team still had inconclusive results the following day, Dr. Stalpes took the time to explain their concerns and the reasoning behind an extra day of monitoring. He sensed our concerns with the financial aspect, but felt strongly enough to that end that he assured us only the minimal screens necessary would be taken in order to help alleviate the expense but to insure our pets well-being. In the end, Sammy was well cared-for and received a specific treatment plan we all were confident would yield great results with costs that were very reasonable. We always leave AAC with the feeling their team cares passionately about their mission and the community they serve and stand by a commitment to excellence that is second to none. Thank you all!

we brought in our puppy for an exam, trying to find a good clinic for him. aumsville was recommended by a friend- and folks, we have finally found the winner. everyone was super friendly, the vets REALLY show that they care about your pets. they were very gentle and took their time examining our puppy as to not scare or upset him, and explained a lot of helpful things to us that no one else had ever brought up before. our puppy really liked the people examining him, he just felt so happy and comfortable and it made me so happy to see that they had concern for keeping him content and happy while doing what they had to. they really know what theyre talking about, and i love that theyre there for the animals. they were also very honest and straight forward about concerns and any questions we had. the price was super affordable, and it was overall the best vet experience weve had. thank you so much!

We had such a great experience at Aumsville Animal Clinic. Dr. Stewart fixed our pit bulls bi-lateral CCL tear in the summer of 2013. He was exceptionally professional, kind, and patient throughout the process (and I was a stressed out mess). Its been 2 years and Periwinkle has had great success with his version of the "Traditional Surgery". Shes living the good life again, running like a mad, wild, hooligan at the Sandy River Delta, hiking Multnomah Falls, playing at the dog park, and going on long walks. Dr. Stewart has been doing this repair for 25+ years and he is obviously top of the game at what he does. The SURGEON MATTERS more than the surgery you choose. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much for giving Periwinkle her life back!

My wife and I started taking our 1.5 year old dog here about a year ago after they were recommended to us, and have never looked back since. They are affordable, great with animals, and overall just a "no frills" type of vet that gets down to business and doesnt B.S. you with a fake diagnosis, then stick you with a giant bill. I would recommend this place to ANYONE, especially if you feel unhappy with your current vet. Weve tried 3 different vets in or near Salem and this one owns them all. This is what all animal clinics should be like!

Awesome staff and REASONABLE prices. Worth the 20 minute drive from Salem. My dog needed emergency dental care. We went to a local vet, their quote was WAY out of our price range. The quote I got from AAC was at least half of that in Salem. And that included the lab tests they needed to due, plus full care. not just a few extractions. I highly recommend them.

Went to Companion Pet Clinic for our German Shepard, but 3 years and hundreds of dollars later they still had no answer of why our dog was sick. Went here and after one visit the mystery was solved. It was a thyroid issue. Long story short, we had nearly fourteen years of love and happiness because of them. We will never go any where else. Thank you!!

We have been with Aumsville Animal Clinic for many years. Weve been through everything from new puppy checks, rescue dog exams, and health issues to saying goodbye to our beloved senior cats. The staff and doctors are very special people. I had to put my 12 girl down last year. I was a wreck crying so hard at times I hyperventilated. They were so gentle and kind. They even sent me a sympathy card the following week. My 7 yr old girl goes there and they are great with her!
