Recently gave birth to my daughter here on the 28th. I honestly didnt find labor that terrible, besides a few things they didnt let me know of before hand. Also I had to be stuck with he epidural 5 times before it worked and it still wore off before having my baby ( also giving me a numbing shot without letting me know first so it hurt extremely bad and made me cry because I wasnt warned ). Postpartum was my worse experience. Like right after I had my daughter the nurse stopped checking up on me for hours.. I was extremely swollen and being a first time mom I was totally unaware of everything, I needed ice packs, help peeing and the nurse didnt come. They didnt let me know the nurse buttons on the beds werent on so I assumed they were broken.. The nurse in postpartum kept trying to make me eat when I ate plenty, kept telling me to feed literally a minute after my baby ate and fell asleep. Wouldnt listen when I told her no. When I needed a few things Id ask via nurse button and sometimes they wouldnt come at all, or treat me like my question was stupid. The pediatrician tried to force me to agree to something I was against. They didnt let me know of so many things hospitals usually teach first moms how to do.. Didnt offer a bath to the baby, just gave us soap? They let us leave without checking the carseat or offering me a wheelchair and yes the walk to the door was extremely uncomfortable. I feel like I was mistreated.. Maybe because of my age, maybe because their lack of staff or knowledge. The nurses werent very nice.. I had only one nurse and one midwife I enjoyed but the rest made me very unhappy. I will never have another child at Kaiser.

A few days ago, I hit my head really hard while at work. I was bleeding and didn’t quite feel right, so I went to Kaiser because it was close by. What a mistake! I spent 7 hours waiting in the emergency waiting room. Everyone around me had spent the same time. Their employees were slow and heartless. They wouldn’t give me anything for the pain, until the hospital opened the next morning. This girl came in with a hole in her leg (you could see her bone through it) and they told her it would be 2-3 hours before she was seen (and they didnt give her pain meds either). And when I was finally seen, everyone was so rude! Going to Kaiser was one of the worst experiences of my life. I would rate them with negative stars if it was possible. .

Went to see the first available doctor due to my foot was killing me. And could barley put pressure on it. This Dr comes in and examines it. putting pressure exactly where the pain was ( several times ) and says im not sure but you should stay off it. It might be a fracture, or might not, and i should just ice it. Thank you Dr. Susse... really? thats the expert opinion? went back to my Dr and she had me x-ray the foot. Thats a proper way to diagnose someone. Turns out it was a fracture, and it was treated properly. I tell you with Kaiser its hit or miss

The L & D nurses we had (Becky and Analyse) were excellent. The Midwives were excellent! The NAs: one woman, the first tried 5 times to place the epidural, and had ego issues about calling for support. WE HAD TO DEMAND ANOTHER NA...when she (the second NA) came it took two attempts to place the epidural...all of this during active labor. We suggest that Kaiser secures/hires experienced NAs who have been TRAINED PROPERLY and at the HEAD OF THE CLASS NOT THE NAs WHO BARELY PASSED EDUCATION AND TRAINING...PLEASE. Ask questions.

My ER visit from Unstable Angina turned into a two night overnight stay with an emergency installation of a heart stent. Everyone I dealt with, from the admitting doctors in the ER to the tending nurses in the Cardio ICU to the assigned doctors who advised me and installed my stent, were empathic, knowledgeable, and professional. I feel nothing but gratitude towards the excellent quality care I received at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside. Our region is very fortunate to have such a marvelous hospital so nearby.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life! I went to the er and there was no wait at all but the doctor treated me like i was less than and i had to get my foot cut open and he said if it was too painful he would stop. He didnt stop and i was screaming! I ended up having a panic attack and could barely breathe due to the pain! Im going to file a complaint!!! This was absolutely horrifying! Ill never come here again!

I had my second child here. It was an amazing experience. They have midwives deliver the baby unless there is an emergency. The delivery room is huge, the nurses are amazing and kind, the recovery rooms are also huge, the food is excellent, etc. They have a menu for food and you can order food any time and how much you want between 7 am and 7 pm. I am going to have all my children at Kaiser Permanente!!!!

My brother was kicked out of the ER in the middle of the night after having mental crisis. He was unable to follow directions and was discharged for noncompliance. No phone call to family. This is not just poor medical care. This is just inhuman and cruel. Stay away from Kaiser if u need real help.

Great people, Great vibes, Great help! Only thing is that wait could take foreverrrrr!!!! Wish theyd be quicker! Other that that this is an awesome hospital, bless all the people that help maintain this place.

Theres 32 other counties in this state and you dont provide coverage for them. I need to commute to see a doctor or go to the hospital. If you want people to Thrive" stop making them commute!!!

Go to ER and then was sent to urgent care which was closed so went back to ER got checked on then was sent back to urgent care, 2 hours later still havent seen doctor
