I saw Dr. Bruce soon after my TBI in June of 99. As a result of my injury, I had constant double, sometimes triple, sometimes quadruple vision. He immediately prescribed glasses with the amount of prism I needed in order to have single vision and set me up twice a week with Carol doing Vision Therapy. I saw many different doctors for many different issues after the car crash that nearly took my life, however he was the first doctor that treated me as a person with a significant injury, rather then an injured person. Where my therapists gave me back my dignity by teaching me how to walk, talk and function during my month long rehab at the Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon, Dr. Bruce gave me back my world!! My husband & I have come to love him like a brother and trust him with our lives. He treats his staff & associates as part of his family and they have now since become part of ours.

First lets talk about the good. The Doctors are pretty good. They are thorough, and they explain what they are doing and answer any questions you have. Lets move on to the not so good. The folks that you order products from are not helpful at all. They dont explain the costs of anything, and they have a tendency to be rude. I ordered a new pair of glasses and after a month all they were able to tell me is "The lab has had another problem making your lenses." When I asked to get credited back the money I spent on my glasses, they told me all sales are final...Even though I dont have a product yet. To summarize, I would say you can get an eye exam there, but do NOT order any products from them.

i ORDERED GLASSES AND THEY QUOTED A PRICE AND SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE IN 2 WEEKS. i RECEIVED A CALL 4 DAYS LATER SAYING MY GLASSES WERE IN. WENT TO PICK THEM UP AND THEY WERENT PROGRESSIVE LENSES LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE. I WAS TOLD THE DOCTOR DIDNT ORDER PROGRESSIVE LENSES. THEY ORDERED THE CORRECT LENSES AND TWO WEEKS LATER I HADNT HEARD ANYTHING SO I CALLED TWO TIME AND LEFT MSGS. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL BACK, SO I JUST STOPPED IN AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW THEY CAME IN LATER THE NIGHT BEFORE. THEN THEY SAID THE PROGRESSIVE LENSES WOULD BE A ADDITIONAL $50.00. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE,. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, NO MATTER HOW CLOSE THEY ARE.

The employee at the front desk made me feel like she didnt want to answer any of my simple questions about the exam and wanted me to leave her alone. The answers were brief and not much informative. The soonest simple eye exam for prescription glasses appointment time slot they have available is one month from today, when I visited them. The price of the exam is three times more than in other places nearby. I would not recommend this place for an eye exam.

I have to say i love this place. From beginning to end they take care of us. My son had some eye issues when he was smaller and they did eye therapy on him and he is doing so much better in school. The girls are amazing at helping with picking out the right glasses to fit my face. I have had all the Dr. and they are very kind and attentive to my needs. Thank you all at NW eyecare for making getting glasses a good experience.

Ive been seeing Dr. Bruce since my first eye exam at 5. His team of providers and office staff are astoundingly great and Ive never had a bad experience with his office in my 20 years of experience with them. If they ever stop accepting VSP Ill probably cry.

I see Dr John for my eye health check ups. He helps to keep my eyes healthy and seeing great with my new glasses. Thanks to the ladies in the optical department for their professional experience in helping me pick out a great pair of glasses.

The optical department has the worse customer service I have ever experienced. Two months and I still dont have my glasses. Ive called twice and left messages. Not even a return call! I WILL NEVER USE NW EYE CARE PROFESSIONALS AGAIN!!!
