If I could give them zero stars, I would. Recently I had a trip to the ER, due to an overdose reaction to benadryl. They bring me in strapped to a gerny, that part is fine, thats what medics do in an emergency situation, what was not fine, was when I was placed in the care of the nurses working at legacy. I was terrified and Im in a room with 10 or more strangers, some men, and a complete open curtain to the full emergency room as they held me down and stripped me of all my clothes against my will. I have a long, horrendous history of sexual abuse and I told them this as I sobbed and begged, almost screaming for them to stop. The female nurse, heather, was awful in every demeanour and cruel. I have been to a couple hospitals in my life, we all have, and at every other one this procedure was done in a room with maybe two female nurses who actually had bedside manor, or at least the curtain was closed, and they would let me take my own clothes off. I was completely cognitive and just because Im in the ER does not give them the right to strip me of my dignity. As I pleaded for them to stop holding me down and tearing my clothes off in front of all of those people , they simply doped me up with ativan straight into an iv. I asked for help, so instead of being treated humanely, I was subjected to something that would have been traumatic for any girl or woman, even if I wasnt sexually abused, that is horrible to do to anyone, and when I begged for it to stop, they just drugged me up to the point I didnt know where I was or what was going on. This. This right here, thats not ok. The only one, singular, minuscule ok-ness was the nurse 4 hours later that actually treated me like a person. So to you Mr. Male nurse, this one star, thats for you big guy.

If I could do negative stars I would. This hospital almost killed me. I went in for partial seizures (which I didnt know I had and had never heard of before). I had one in the hall in the ER and had to be carried to my bed by a couple nurses. One nurse kept yelling at me saying "stop that!" Like I could actually control it!!! She was so mean to me. I also had another lady helping out. Not sure if she was a nurse or a MA. She was very nice to me. The doctor came in and talked to me and I told him what was going wrong to the best of my ability. The nurse never spoke up about the seizure I had. The doctor did no testing and came back saying I had heartburn and watched to many scary movies!!! Are you kidding me?! I left with no answers to what was really going on but I knew for a fact it wasnt heartburn! I had another seizure in the parking lot. Security even drove by and saw me and did nothing. I went home. I wasnt allowed to go to another hospital for 72 hours because of my insurance. I was unaware how serious the problem was. I went to another hospital after the 72 hours and found out I was having a stroke and thats what was causing the seizures. I had 2 very noticeable brain tumors that anyone can see on a MRI. The 2nd hospital had me diagnosed within a hour of arriving and had emergency brain surgery. Because I wasnt diagnosed for days I had way more damage done to my brain since I was left untreated and it almost cost me my life. Then since I was diagnosed at Mt Hood as just having "heartburn" my insurance rejected the claim because they only pay for ER visits if its a true emergency so Mt Hood sent me a bill!!! Worst hospital ever!

Hello my name is Aspen. For starters i will never go back to this hospital, they were very rude and inconsiderate to me and with my situation. Dr. Artman and Nurse Chad spoke to me for what couldnt have been more than two minutes after waiting for the better part of two hours. I came in as a walk in patient for pregnancy concerns. Id looked online and found out through multiple rescources that I had been showing early signs of pregnancy (which I already knew about) but when I went to get a blood test done (Id been getting negatives from home tests, but any intelligent Dr. could tell you that it isnt unheard of). They refused my blood test and told me I had a UTI. The actual test came up negative. Later that night I did further research and discovered that its very possible to be pregnant and have a UTI. Artman told me otherwise and refused to do any blood test and told me that every single one of my symptoms were from the UTI, it was ridiculous. And to top it all off, the anti-biotic medication that they gave me was harmful to pregnancy(It was somethign different that what I was used to, Ive had UTIs before and I always take Amoxiciline. They gave me "Sulfameth/Trimethoprim"), any Dr would at least take all measures to make sure there was no pregnancy before attempting medication like that. Personally Id rather not return to that Doctor. I plan on Sueing if I turn out to be pregnant and that medication harms my child in ANY way.

This is the worst hospital ever. They treat you like a drug addict. I cut my finger at work really bad. Workmans comp. Waited over an hour in pain. To get stitches. Finnally the docter came in. Tried telling me that i could not have my wife and daughter in the room with me. Then almost kicked them out because my daughter who is not even a year old was getting a little fussy. No wonder because we were there past 2 hours at that point. Docter stitched me up rudely acted like she knew what kind of pain i was in. And she actually looked at me like i was lying. HER NAME WAS DR. JUMP. IM SORRY FOR ANYONE WHO HAS TO HAVE HER AS A DOCTER. I asked for stronger meds to last me 2 days. Because i have to work to make rent and support my daughter and family. I only wanted something to help take the edge off for the first 2 days because im a cook and use my hands my entire job and she said no because they only give them to people who have had surgery or broken bones. So basically stitches and youre screwed but if i would have broken the same finger then no problem. Aparently the Hippocratic oath is not something that mt hood hospital follows. And hippa also. I felt judged and un-cared for the entire time i was there i will never go back. Even if its life threatening. Id rather risk a longer ambulance ride to a better facility. DR JUMP YOU ARE A MOCKERY TO DROCTERS. ID JUMP FOR JOY IF THEY TOOK AWAY YOUR MEDICAL LICENSE.

My niece recently gave birth here.she came down with a fever it wasnt till hrs later realized cause there thermometer was not working. One dr told her she was 5 centimeters dilated then hrs later a different Dr said she was actually almost a 4!!! She had to have an emergency c-section due to the babys heart rate going down cause of the fever not being treated sooner. After surgery the baby was not doing so good he was rushed to Emanuel thank god!!! The 4 hrs he was at mt hood the nurses where more concerned with catching up on the latest gossip then attending the baby or letting the mother know how hes doing!!! The transfer for the mother to get to her baby took 6 hrs they kept saying 45 min and those 45min came 6 hrs later in the mean time the mother was left unattended with no pain medication for her surgery!! If it wasnt for her father being fed up and raising his voice who knows if we would still be waiting those 45 min they kept telling us ... Im only leaving one star cause I have to but our family will never ever step foot in that hospital agin!! horrible nightmare
