I had a terrible experience at Patient Care. I waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting area before the nice receptionist took my info and cash. A nice CMA took my vitals and walked me to a room where I sat for an hour and a half . I heard the other people that followed me in the waiting room be given care. Heading on two hours, I could hear no one talking. I stuck my head out and asked, Does anyone know I am still here? The CMA asked if I wanted some water. I kept waiting a bit longer. I did see the receptionist tried to talk to a nurse but she made a hand motion as to push her away. Feeling tired and discouraged, I went back to the receptionist and got my money back. I went down the street to Emergent Care. The PA was awesome! People there cared!

I just called minutes ago to see if I had coverage with my insurance for an appointment today. The lady on the phone asked which insurance company. I replied Highmark. She said what does it say on my card for specialist appointments. I replied, "it gives two options a copay for standard, and one for enhanced. Which one are you?" She said "whichever one is cheaper." So i go online and double check to see if theyre covered because she rattled off the answer like she didnt want to take the time to check. Turned out they were a standard provider. An enhanced provider has a specialist copay of $30. A standard provider has a copay of $120. THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! I suggest you update you staff... this could have cost me big money.

This place is an incredible establishment! Every single employee that I came into contact with there was caring, personal, and clearly enjoyed their work and the environment. I saw Meghan, the P.A. there. She is more than qualified for her position and genuinely concerned about ones well being altogether, emotionally and physically. She was both knowledgeable and encouraging. Everything was taken into account to better treat me during my visit, and the time was definitely taken. She also stayed late just to help out and talk to me. There is a reason for the 4+ star rating. Im rather critical in my ratings, too. So thank you again Patient First of Allentown! 5 stars +!

From the receptionist, to the nurse who took my vitals, the doctor who seemed generally concerned about what kind of issues I was having, all the way to the check out which took incredibly minimal time to complete and pay, I had an amazing experience. Everyone had a warm smile and made me feel at ease (even though I absolutely HATE going to the doctors, and try to put it off as much as possible). I was absolutely impressed from start to finish. Plus, the added convenience and competitive pricing on the meds purchased right at the facility. I have no idea why I wasnt coming here more often. I plan to go to this location from here on out! Excellent service!

I went in on Thanksgiving. I waited about 30 minutes maybe more. The nurses and doctors were great. This issue I have is that they said they sent 3 bills but I only received the one, the one I paid on. They had already sent it to collections which is a $40 fee. I wont go back just for the billing issues. Not worth it. UPDATE: Spoke with Melissa within a few days of original review who assured me that the billing issue will be corrected. Fast Forward to Saturday May 13th 2017 and I receive a past due, collections letter in the mail for 39.17 for a bill I have already paid in full. Not worth the trouble

Very easy, in and out. And for a person with bad anxiety, it meant the world to me that everyone was polite and professional. I was prescribed antibiotics for an infection and was surprised and happy that Dr. Gobindveer suggested eating a probiotic yogurt once a day. He was the first doctor Ive met to suggest it. (Granted I do that already, but I was impressed.) 5/5. And if you dont have insurance, their meds are more affordable there than if you took your script to CVS. (Saved 20$ on antibiotics.) Highly recommend.

I just called to find out the cost for a particular service. The girl who answered from the front desk told me she didnt know because the doctor "enters a code". Okay, can you transfer for me to someone who does know? "Sure but they are going to tell you the same thing." She put me on hold, then the line disconnected. I called back and was told they do not give out costs. So you could charge me $400 for a visit and I would have no say over it?" "Thats correct," she said. No thanks!!

Staff is well educated and somewhat helpful, but my experience was fairly upsetting. I came here simply to check out if I had strep throat and after a strep test, which the nurse explained would take approximately 6 minutes, I ended up waiting an hour and a half for the doctor to see me. It was frustrating to wait an hour and 30 minutes just to get my results. They should either hire more staff or make it a priority to see more patients in a timely fashion.

Thank you George Yanoshik Jr on your recommendation to visit on this holiday weekend. My son was visiting from NY and needed to be seen by a doctor for a lingering chest cold. From the moment we walked in the place was very clean & modern. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to assist us from the moment we walked through the front door.. Our entire visit including a chest x-ray was less than one hour. Well done Patient First.

Case of bronchitis, went on a Sunday morning. This was my first time, they treated my daughter for a sprained ankle which ent well. Very impressed with the staff and facilities. They took the time to ask questions, didnt feel rushed even though they were busy. Convenient as well, they have an on-site pharmacy to fill prescriptions. They also will forward information to your primary physician/group at no charge. Recommend highly.

The doctor, Haoli Jin, was rude, never listen to patient and not looking at carefully what is going on. She was keep talking and complaining my previous prescriptions from her colleagues in the same hospital for the same symptoms that I was suffering. I explained what happen and how I feel but she never listen to me but just keep talking. It was waste of my time and money this time. I would never go there whenever she is there.

Doctor was VERY smug and rude as soon as she walked into the room. "What can I help you with?" she asked snarkily with her arms crossed and a disgusted look on her face. I will never go back to this establishment. The receptionist was rude as well. Youre better off going to the emergency room as they are much more of a help. I wish I could give 0 stars. The only plus side to this place is its a very short wait.

Very understaffed. Ive waited at the ER less than I did here. At least let the patients wait in the lobby where they have stuff to read or watch tv. I was told they were understaffed and it could be as long as 30 minutes. I sat in the patient room with nothing in there for over one hour. This will be the last time I go here. I guess its time to find another doctor.
