On one occasion I woke up at three in the morning vomiting uncontrollably. I found myself here, for the first time. Could not stop puking! It was terrible. The nurse was trying to get my information but every time I opened my mouth it wasnt words that was coming out thats for sure. I finally got to my room, after apologizing about a dozen times, and my nurse seemed very displeased. It was FREEZING in the room and I had to keep asking for blankets. (I felt like a total jerk and kept apologizing). The second, much younger, nurse was way nicer than the first and made me feel comfortable which was great because I was about to be let down by the doctor who came in with a printed off diagnosis of "The Stomach flu" I dont even know.... He didnt even bother. Just came in and diagnosed me without even meeting me prior. Not to mention that Im almost certain that it was food poisoning because it happened so abruptly and I wasnt feverish at all. I was feeling great until I ate a sketchy looking meat patty. That had to be it. On a separate occasion I was diagnosed with an Ulcer here after a nurse touched my stomach a few times and had me go on my way. Actually had internal bleeding and had to get a vessel cauterized (after having to leave my university for an entire semester and set me back on my original graduation date because the pain was unbearable). On ANOTHER occasion (I dont know how I always end up here!) I needed and X-Ray done on my hand after getting hurt at a dance. The lady at the front desk talked to me like I was an idiot. It was a Friday night so Im pretty sure she thought I was wasted out of my mind. I was dressed for the dance which probably didnt help either. I could see why she would think that too because I was practically rolling on the floor with pain. After arguing with the lady at front desk about whether or not the xray machines were actually up and running (for about a half hour) a nurse comes out and tells me, "Of Course theyre running." Desk lady was going to have me drive home. Everything was "fine" when I had my hand checked here. Got a second x-ray at a different location because I couldnt bend my hand into a fist without it feeling like a bunch of miniature sumo wrestlers were having a dance party on my veins. Turns out tendons were torn and pulled. If I broke every bone in my body and could only use my jaw I would rather dig my teeth into the grass and drag my useless body home before coming here again.

I dont usually give reviews but on this one, I had to. The curly red head receptionist is horrible to deal with. Ive been there before and the former receptionist was a lot nicer. But this ones different. She took a tiny problem as if its the end of the world and she didnt seem to want to do anything about it. Shes cranky and sounded so annoyed even if I did talk softly the whole time.It was their systems fault and its up to her to solve the tiny problem but she kept on taking it as if its so terrible. The rest of the staffs are nice though. Wouldnt want to deal with her again might just go to a different urgent care next time.

The nurses were good. But they only gave me enough narcotic pain pills to last me 2 1/4 days. And they refused to give me enough until my test results come back. I live in Lock Haven, and I dont have a vehicle. They said I would have to go down there for a prescription. Ha, how about that Nurse Jodie bring it to me, or even give me a prescription for lidocaine, and I would give her $.06 for my prescription for the co-pay. They faxed the first one to my pharmacy, why cannot they fax me another. I have all ready taken 350 aspirins this month for my pain, which I have had in my rectum for 3 yrs. 2 1/2 months.

The emergency room has been friendly, helpful and quick both times my husband needed to be at the hospital. Unfortunately, when he needed to have a time sensitive sample dropped off to the lab, the receptionist, who was too busy telling me about her husbands own testing overlooked the fact that my husbands tests were not even able to be done at the hospital. It was a waste of stressful time, that could have been avoided. It actually could have been avoided when I called to ask about the testing in the first place, and been told the correct answer that was no instead yes.

I had my baby here, and it was the most wonderful experience ever. The midwives were very attentive to my needs and respectful of my wishes, and the nurses were great! There was one nurse who pushed formula and tried to teach me some things that were veeeery incorrect... but she was older, and things were done differently in her day, so I get it. (Not gonna dock a star on her behalf.) There really isnt anything I would have changed about the whole experience. If we ever have another baby, Ill be coming back here for sure.

If you value your life, do not go to this hospital. They ask you what your weight is, and no vitals were taken. And the staff apears to be on drugs. The e.r doctor didnt even touch me. How can you figure if somethings wrong with some one if you dont even look at them or touch them. If you want to visit the Bloomsburg zoo, go here. Im writing the Surgeon General. And getting legal advice. The is a better hospital in Danville, its worth the 10 min drive.

I must say this hospital has been wonderful! After being admitted on an unrelated bout with pneumonia they told me I was pregnant, the care I received during that stay was so great that I would not go to any other facility for my prenatal care and as of tomorrow my birth! A good birth experience really does start with your medical team and I am so confident in the entire team at Geisinger in bloomsburg!

We are thankful for Bloomsburg Hospital! Our firstborn son was born here, and now after a less than ideal birth experience for our second son at a different hospital we returned for our first daughters birth. The staff are great, professional, happy, attentive... We give our recommendations for Labor & Delivery, at the least, but have no complaints with the facility or care in other departments.

Hello Im at Bloomsburg hospital now. And my 3 year old son needs X-rays done of his finger that might be broken, so as he is screaming his head off we are told we have to wait in the waiting room.... ok... I get it everyone has to wait there turn, but you know what when you see 4 doctors laughing in a corner it really pisses you off

The care was ok, an emergency occured and they worked with us to get it covered by the hospital charity (as an uninsured college student). That did not go without a lot of fighting and mistakes though. Took years to get everything sorted.

"Lena" ensured while my mom was in xray my Pop Pop was given food as he is a diabetic. I was extremely thankful for her caring, sincere caring.
