The therapist, though bored looking half the time, was nice and tried to be helpful. However, the doctor I would see for about 5 minutes was mean and condescending. He cared nothing about my recovery and was just there to write me a prescription, collect my co-pay and rush me off. On top of that, the office would usually double-book appointments so it was very common for me to wait up to an hour past my appointment time to actually see my doctor for a whole of 5 minutes. Additionally, the staff can be pretty reactive since they are used to having clients constantly complain about the poor service. Overall, I’ve switched mental health providers and would not recommend this place to anyone.

These people are awful. Chances are, if you are going there it is because you need help in some form or other. They hold prescriptions "hostage"--you have to go in every 3 months and pay the co-pay to get a renewal on routine prescriptions a PCP could give you. The doctor wont refill scripts on the phone and while he does have evening office hours, which is why we went there in the first place, they dont answer phones after 6:30, so if something happens and youre late, chances are the doctor will have left and blame you for missing the stupid 2 minute "appointment" you needed to pay for to get a medication you need immediately. Awful, scammy service.

Intake session was fine and made me think the previous reviews were not very honest. The therapist I saw, Karen Kevreshe, seemed caring and took her time. She gave me some advice and suggested an appointment with a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist, A. David Monheit, did not seem to have any interest in talking to me. I felt he made judgments about me before talking to me. I did not feel like he cared at all to learn about my situation and seemed to think I was just there to get drugs. The whole appointment with him lasted about 10 minutes and I felt worse then when I walked in. I would say that the other reviews are honest.

Awful. Just awful. The therapist was condecending and kept forgetting really important things in our conversations. The "office manager" was SO rude to me on multiple occasions. The Dr. I saw was actually pretty nice, but the staff didnt bother to tell me that she only worked 1 day a week from 9am-4:30pm and I was expected to come in every month to refill my prescription, making me take off work. No thanks. Never going back there.

I honestly love my Doctor, Dr. Frankle and I love the speed and professionalism of the entire operation. I am a busy man and I am not looking for a lot of hand holding and crying. I have an issue, I need for it to be treated, and I need to get back to work. Ive known my doctor for years now and I feel very comfortable with his style of mutual respect and genuine concern for my well being.

Dr Monheit is amazing. Not only is he there as someone who will keep tabs on your meds intake, but he will even take extra time to chat about how you are feeling/concerns you have/ etc. I am 40 years old, and have been battling depression and anxiety since my early 20s. Of all the psychiatrists i have seen, i feel blessed to have him as my doctor.

The might be cheap, but you get what you pay for. The first visit was supposed to be an hour and a half-it was 30 min. long. If youre looking for fast food mental health, this is it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frankels for nearly 5 years now, and he (and the office as a whole) is down to earth, smart, and very accommodating.
