5 stars for doctor, 1 for office staff. Every doc I have seen, past and present I would give 5 stars. However, when you call for an appointment, and staff asks "When do you want to come in?" and your response is "Friday would be good", should the response of the scheduler be "Dr. X is not even IN on Friday!" ?? Why should anyone be scolded for not knowing the schedule of the doctors in the office? And then, after I misheard the appointment time (I heard 7:45, but she must have said 10:45), when the call is wrapping up, "Ok so well see you Thursday at 10:45"; me: "oh, 10:45? I thought it was 7:45, I must have..." scheduler cuts me off before I can finish: "Shes not even IN until 10:00!" Did I come back at her with "Why are you lecturing me? How would I know that? I simply was saying that I must have misheard you!" No, but maybe should have, because clearly management is not advising the office staff on phone etiquette. Is it now up to the patients? Like other reviewers, I am seriously considering changing doctors after almost 20 years with PM Family. So sad.

Been on hold 45 minutes. Ive had to call back twice because once they finally answered after 20 minutes, no one had any idea who could help me. Just trying to pay a bill, and Ive been calling every day for 3 weeks to be left on hold 10-25 mins each time. I typically hang up once Ive lost the patience to wait any further. Finally got someone to answer, only to be transferred to an un-monitored voicemail box, and had to call back. I went in for a physical, to have paperwork filled out. Apparently, they do not want their money, or a new patient. Im going to have to just find a new doctor and pay for a new physical. What a waste of all my time. Disgusting. Seriously, if you have even sub-par insurance, please find a better place to do your business.

Great Doctors, but becoming "Mainstream Medicane". Now that the new Einstein Montgomery aquired this practice, it feels less like a family practice and more like a hospital. You might get a smile or a hello out of the rare friendly staff, but besides the doctors, this practice is miserable. Scheduling an appointment can be a problem, as you have to explain the entire situation to a woman. Sometimes, citing policy she cannot produce, she will say you dont qualify for a doctors appointment! I fully understand the doctor might look at the patient and say "go home and rest" or what have you, but sometimes your job wants a documentation, and saying the woman on the phone refuses to let me see a doctor isnt a reason to miss work!

The low rating is due mostly to office administration. Extremely unresponsive, often discourteous, and disorganized, Ive never called and been helped promptly. As I write this, I am on hold, simply trying to get simple office information. Ive been waiting for 15 minutes... The doctors are hit or miss with most good, but some bad. If youve found one you like, best to keep with them. One "substitute" doctor I had improperly filled out a prescription that the pharmacy could not fill, I tried to call for a fix but they could not call it in and I had to come back in -- but they went to lunch. Two hours later I had a new prescription but in the wrong dosage (the dosage written not available for that product at all).

Ive seen two amazing doctors here and I dont want to leave them, but the office staff is abysmal! Call hold times are never less than 10 minutes, often longer. But thats if their phones are even working- seems like at least every other time I call, I get a recording telling me that their phones are down. When you finally talk to somebody, they are often rude and usually find something to lecture you about regarding their stupid policies. I got the same irrelevant lecture from two of them today. Who needs this kind of stress when dealing with their doctor?

I love Dr Stein, but I really dislike the reception/medical records/referral office. Try calling - and you are on hold for at least 20-30 minutes before you can talk to someone. If you call the referral line, you never get to talk to anyone. Call during lunch and you cant even leave a message for a referral - but you can during "business hours". If I have to leave a voicemail, why cant I do that 24/7. This office needs to get up to speed - and work a little more efficiently.

The doctors are great they get 5 stars -- the office is dreadful it gets a 1 ... I have called three times this morning to speak to someone regarding a simple question. I was on hold for a sum total of 50 minutes - last call was 22 minutes waiting for someone to answer the telephone. I had to hang up. This office needs a good website with all pertinent information like office hours, lab hours, etc so patients do not have to deal with the office staff.

The doctors themselves are great. I had been a patient of this practice for 10 years (back when they were still on Germantown Pike with the awful parking problems). What kills this place is the office personnel. First of all, it take a 30 minute wait on hold to schedule an appointment. Once you actually get an appointment and show up, they are almost rude to you. Its a shame. The docs are nice and caring. The office people are incompetent.

There is not an ounce of competence in the office staff. Its a circus. Its a complete joke of a business. Grotesque in every aspect from wait times, to even completing simple paperwork. Avoid this office or the joke will be on you. Horrible.

The doctors are great here and I never have a problem getting same day appointments when needed. Have been going here for about 10 years and the quality of the doctors is worth dealing with some not so great office staff.
