Possibly the least clinical experience at a doctors office ever experienced. The visit began with my being taken back to an exam room. Vital signs consisted of the nurse ASKING me what my height, "how tall are you?" -thought it was idle chit chat at that point, then weight,"how much do you weigh?" and then "would you happen to know what your blood pressure was?" (I thought she must have been joking, but no). Then after about 15 more minutes the doc comes in. Doesnt make eye contact, no greeting, no "what can I help you with?", no history taking, no body mapping, no exam whatsoever. Goes straight for his thermos bottle full of liquid nitrogen or whatever it was and his mega q-tips. He starts toward me and I sit up and offer my name as intro and "arent you going to ask why Im here?" I could tell at that point that I took him off his routine. He then proceeded with dabbing over any exposed areas of skin on my face, and forearms. Multiple areas, which didnt appear to have any lesions, but dab away he did. I said perhaps he could check my back? He had me pull my shirt down and quickly began dabbing with the q-tip. Then back out the room in a flash and the visit was over. Front desk coded the visit as a comprehensive exam which of course didnt occur, and another code for the dabbing procedure which was upcoded at the level of the multiple sites he rendered frozen. So, on top of being a patient mill, this guy also commits (in my opinion) insurance fraud. See him at your own risk. I have since gone to another derm in town, and my experience was a superior office visit experience. Ask, ask, ask, your friends who they have been to before choosing a doc, and find out BEFORE you go what to expect. Or, just read their Google reviews, I wish I would have!

I went and saw Dr Humeniuk, last month for my horrible eczema. I have had this problem all of my life and have seen pretty much every single dermatologist in town with no help they all just say "oh your just sensitive to everything, sorry" Dr Humeniuk went over my entire skin routine, gave me a ton of new meds to try, different creams, and even said that he was going to try and get me into this trial for new stuff that may help. I was so happy because finally it felt like someone actually wanted to help me. I had a horrible spot on my elbow, legs, and eye lids that are now either gone all together or almost gone. He does talk pretty fast but, I mean sometimes people just are that way (I know I am ) but, the nurses told me that if he gets to fast just ask him again or ask them and when I asked him things he did slow down and talk more into detail about them. The nurses are also very nice and friendly and are actually the first nurses at a dermatologist who didnt act like my skin problems were gross and avoid me like the plague. All around I like the entire place and cannot wait to go again today.

Ive been seeing Dr. Hunenuck for almost 30 years. What I LIKE most is that he doesnt hesitate to burn off any questionable marks. I had skin cancer when I was 31 years old, so I dont want to leave any questionable spot to "wait and see what they turn into" like some other dermantologists. He listens to me and offers options. He is very busy and a bit hyper but an excellent physician. If he moves too fast, I just hold up and say "wait a sec., Ive got a few more questions" and he gives me all the time I need. Ive sent many friends to him and my husband sees him too. I find the office staff helpful and efficient. Because he gives each patient the time they nees, sometimes you have to wait, but its worth it because youll get his undivided attention too. Ive been to 3 other dermatologists over the years and always go back to Dr. H--hes the best--I see him yearly and highly recommend him (BTW, skin treatments and hurt . . . you cannot be a wimp and expect to have your skin healed). So speak up and be brave - hes the best!

Dude RETIRE ALREADY!! I went to see about an infected cyst close to my eye, I was given several needle injections to numb the pain. There was no exterior skin preperations to even numb the area before all of these shots.I felt every shot. With out waiting or asking to see if I was numb in the area he started to press on my already sore area. He pressed and proded until I fainted. When he and his nurse awoke me he giggled and said "you fainted, lay down and wait for 10 minutes" and left the room, after 2 cold compress clothes were placed on my forehead and throat from the nurse, the nurse pressed again to see if more fluids would come out and did. Dr. Humeniuk then told me to press on the area after a HOT COMPRESS 3 more times today. ARE YOU SERIOUS????? It already hurts like hell. I will not go back to my next appointment for a follow up.

I was so disappointed. I had a really bad visit due to the assistant not communicating with the doctor and the doctor not communicating with me, thus impacting my treatment. I registered my displeasure while I was there--looking at my face in their mirror--and with a follow up call. The doctor offered me additional treatment for additional cost after my face heals. It was unreal. I dont think I will take him up on the pleasure of me giving him more of my money. I sincerely urge everyone reading his reviews to read them carefully.

Of course people have bad days and good days, but after going to Dr. Humeniuk to have a cyst removed, I dont see where all of these negative reviews are coming from. He was very professional and efficient. He was also courteous and conversational throughout the procedure. Its true that there is no topical numbing before injecting numbing, but I dont see this as an issue. I would recommend Dr. Humeniuk to anyone!

Great experience. Ive had a spot on my forehead for several years. My wife got concerned and asked me to see a dermotologist. Dr. Humeniuk gave me reassurance that it was nothing, and burned it off with liquid nitrogen. He also removed several "skin tags" that have been bothering me. Again, great experience,,, great Doctor!

Pros: knowledgeable and direct. Cons: communication, as in moving forward with procedures without explaining or warning the patient. Inside nickname> Dr. Slice and Dice.

Hes in and out quick. Freeze and go. I guess I expected more from my first dermatologist visit, like an exam?
